Portia numbers look good and u shud be fine. All the best for er tomorrow. Me trigger tomorrow n fri er. Last stim done today. Quite worried also.
 
Portia my intralipid was ok. Abt 220ml went in. Quite painful but bearable. Yesterday was a hectic. Running frm kk to tmc to acu...Infact sat was no better. I just need rest I think. Too tired liao.

Yr numbers look good. Lining will improve. Not to worry. I made an appt with dr loh to scan tomorrow. Just last check on follies n lining before trigger.

Sisters during my last stim I had super sore boobs. Bloated badly and felt v heavy with water in tummy. But this stim round am like under control. Boobs not sore. Tummy abit heavy but all seems normal. Is it normal to feel normal during stim. Wonder is regular acu cause this. As amh drop after lap worried no symptom mean no egg
 
@Jumbo girl , no, prof nvr explain y he postphone my ER. In fact another doc. do the last scan for me, and Prof just leave a message thru the nurse.

@Babygrin , yup i will try TCM now cos i need to tiao my body.

@hopeful13 , Thks but this is my 3rd IVF oredi. I did ask prof. earlier if i need tcm or dhea. He said no need all that. Its seems that he is not willing to advise on anything.

@mesara , I dont even know my E2 or if i ovulated or not.

In fact, i find Doc loh is more advisable than Prof. Prof. dont even willing to say anything. Im quite dissapointed cos when i change to him, i expected better results but i was wrong. Im paying for Private patient not subsidised, yet all he said is nothing.

doctor wont usually tell u. i peep my case notes always when im with the nurse and take note all details, e2, lh, lining n follicle size heeehee
 
Nuh u can ask the nurse on e2 level n follicle size. They let u write. Kk think not their practice monitor e2 or write sizes but I request alwayd n glad they accommodate. Like tat sat e2 I request n was only 3000. Not good number to trigger. Was hoping for st least 7000. Havent got my yest e2 level.

I am more concern about quality. Hopefully saizen n acupuncture does the job well.
 
Yup portia.....n my tcm say tat have to be positive so tat our energy level is high n good for mummy n baby. Tho we get stress by the numbers quality quantity lining we have to pray throw away the sadness look forward to the happiness.

So chill relax n jia you gal. Am feeling v tired since yest such a long day. I apologised to my follicles n took today off to rest n relax body.
 
@petitelady prof does not believe in dhea, that's why I changed to dr tan from kkh. Did you do all 3 cycles in nuh? Maybe its time to change doc. Prof is a man of few words. So have to keep asking questions if you want to know more.

Although dhea does not work for everyone, you will not know if you have not even tried it. Maybe you should talk to dr tan or dr loh for second opinion.

Agree with u. Trying hard to be positive and look forward to thd next step instead.

I am also very tired. Have been shuttling from kkivf to dr loh to acupuncture daily since last friday to yesterday. I am exhausted too....

all will be worth while after the bfp show up :) its tiring but endure you going to have your et soon :)
 
@ Babygrin , nope. My 2 ivf done in SGH then i changed to Dr Loh & even follow him to Thomson. Im supposed to do the 3rd with Dr Loh But my GP persuade me to do it at NUH under prof.

A changed which i regret. Picking up the pieces & trying other ways also now.

Ya today just in bed whole day. Rest. Office called I said am unwell. Tomorrow will go to work thu holiday n fri leave again.
 
Gals, I decided to switch to Dr Tan HH instead of keeping to Dr S. & @rachelt, my appt made with Dr Tan HH is at TPS. No qns ask and the appt hotline lady did not tell me Dr Tan HH only see cases at clinic D. I just told them I want to switch doctor and to see him at TPS. So remember to ask Dr Tan HH on yr next appt.

Hmm.. I'll call appt hotline tmr morn to check.. Supposed to see him on Friday @ 1:30pm Clinic D.. If can change to TPS will be better..
 
I tried v hard to see dr tan at tps. The nurses n appt lady plainly refused. Said tps for preggy cases whereas fertility at clinic d only. Maybe nw changed. I saw dr tan when admit for pain then lap then once before start cycle at clinic d. Thats it.
 
Nmind.. I'll ask Dr THH when I see him on Fri at Clinic D.. Hubby says dont change, next round than change.. Will update you ladies after I've spoken to him..

The appt lady asked me if it's for the same reason as I see Dr S. I said yes and she just said ok. Maybe u can try email them for appt.
 
Hi ladies.. Can I check those that have been to Dr que at marine parade,.could u share the process?

Which part of the body does he do the acupuncture? Must we open our clothing? How long is the process and is the wait usually long? What is the latest pricing like?

I am thinking of going this weekend. My latest scan shows my follicles growth is a bit slow.. :(
 
Ladies.. Can i check.. When you confirm to proceed with the procedure, I understand we needa check if it's available.. Should I proceed straight to KKIVF to check on the specific month's slot and book immediately or supposed to wait for them to call ar?.. i know i should walk over to book the counselling and briefing sessions myself if possible, but what about the procedure booking?.. can someone advise?.. TIA.. :)
 
I believe your doc will schedule the date for your IVF, and the nurses have a board at the IVF clinic for the transfers for that month. Some may be very full.

ya.. i'm planning to do it on my jun cycle instead of may cos of work commitment.. so duno how to go about.. to wait or get it confirmed before it's full..

@rachelt, u need to get the go ahead document fr Dr to start procedure. Then kkivf will advise u on what u need to do. Including going for the briefing. Dr will indicate which mth u will be starting your ivf & I believe they will slot u in for the ivf. Actually I don't even know need to book the slot for ivf. For my first cycle, I was suppose to start in march. But due to work issues for both me & hubby, we just decided to push to April without informing anyone. So when my menses came in April, I just called ivf & they got me to go down on 2nd day to start my jab. Maybe I was lucky that April not many pple doing ivf!

Thanks for the info.. I'll ask Dr Tan for the document once everything's discussed with him and firm on Friday.. My schedule end May and first week of June's tight.. so all the necessary appts and paperwork needa complete before end of May else i scared no time to go down.. my AF for june will be first week ar.. so die die mid May must settle everything if really to proceed in June..

Hi mesara,

I just woke up from the sedation. The retrieval went well... nurse told me they retrieved 21 egss! A little surprisef cos my last scan showed 16 only... now hoping that they are of good quality and i really hope i get a decent number that will make it to transfer grade this round. I hv been earmarked for OHSS... so need to take medication to prevent. Will be back in kk on this friday for full blood count to clear OHSS before seeing Dr S to discuss about ET. I am hoping that i hv enuf to freeze and some to cultivate to Day 5 for blastocysts.

I wish you good luck too. Are you in kk for a scan today? Hopefully yr follicles and lining will be perfect by Friday for retrieval.
