Just ET... Busy tahan... After lying for 5 mins I go release ... Bladder too full. Yes ET quite fast but I did c section before so there is a scar, need to avoid the scar. The 2 embryos are 5
Cells.

Baby dusty my first pregnancy my lining was 7.6mm or 7.8mm slightly less than 8mm the minimum. See what your doc advise

LoveG your embryos are thaw one day in advance?

Doesn't the Dr use the catheter to help you release the urine after transfer so you can lie in bed?

no, i guess its the govt hospital i am in. they in fact dont do alot of things during transfer. haha. to them once transfer the embryos wont drop out already. so they say ok to start walking. anyway some places allow bed rest for 20mins at least but kkivf cannot afford the time for you to rest. the most you rest inside to wait for the embryologist report and then you r clear to go.

Gan, welcome to 2ww, mine was 3days embryo before thaw, transferred before they turn to bloatocyst at days 4.5, hope everything going smoothly for us. Jiayou.

In kkh, the pregnancy is confirmed n coverted to O&'G case at 2nd scan. Ie, abt 8~9 wks pregnant. Coz, once convert, must pay first consultant charge again at kkh even same dr.
That's why I don't understand why nuh ask for first consultant charge when not even one scan.

Hi all, KK nurse just called me. I am also tested positive for my bHcg. The result is 1146 for my bHcg. Now waiting to see the nurse to collect med and appt. Baby dust to all sisters in this thread/ forum.
Congrats. Did you ask how many weeks into pregnancy? Don't know how they count.

Congratulations denmeg grabbing baby dustsssss, finally you are graduate. Can share what did you do and eat during 2ww?

nice denmeg, your endurance paid off. no hpt testing. you did a 2dt right? so today BT is how many days after transfer?

curious, the bhcg level really doesnt indicate anything right? majority tested BT on day 17 some earlier on day 14 after transfer so why the big difference in hcg level. of cause low is not very good but what is consider too high or what does it mean. i so hope i can graduate from this thread soon *pray for no af, pray for BFP*

Bb_hc usually dr only schedule first visit in two weeks after BT, so that you can do the US for bb heartbeat, wonder why your first appointment is just one day after BT? Please relax yourself and eat healthy, anxious no good for pregnancy. Must continue your folic acid, it is very important for first tri. Take care.

LoveG are u in 2ww like me? U transferred 2 day 5? Wanted to do d5 but dr Loh discouraged me.

When is your blood test? Dunno why this time I felt more uncomfortable at the womb area.... Dun remember such feeling last time

Hazel my bill is about $2600 today

Gan, u paid cash? Not fr medisave? I hv not seen the bill. I have not paid a single cent, scans, ET, MEDICINE, all deducted fr medisave

When is BT?

Hazel paid cash first. I signed the form for medisave but nurse asked me pay cash first.

There a few couple this morning waiting for consultation w dr Loh

Yes in 2ww now, BT on 17th march, I also felt uncomfortable at womb area and today AF cramp, really wonder will AF still come if we are on medicated FET and with support on?

Congrats, bb_hc! Spread some bb dust our way! I need all the dust I can get before my next cycle!

Iwantahealthybaby, I will see Dr S again next month for endo scratch. Will see how she respond to my queries then. You are right. Maybe I Shld observe n give her n myself another chance.

Congrats sisters who just BFP!! Happy to see a growing number succeeding!

Hazel, in one of your earlier posts, u mentioned that you claimed insurance after your 2nd miscarriage.
Did I read your post correctly? If yes, can tell me which insurance u claimed from and what type of policy u bought.
Cos I Thot pregnancy related complications can't claim insurance. So I never bother to submit. Thot I better ask in case I miss out claiming for my hosp stay earlier.

Saw a post earlier on cost of FET. Mine was medicated FET. Cost $2177. This minus $900 govt grant = $1,277 deducted from my medisave ac.

Btw, there was mention of a $15k cap on medisave usage for ivf. Is $15k limit for both husband and wife or $15k/pax?

If i remembered correctly Hazel had a v good insurance plan that covered miscarriage. But she said that coverage not offered anymore to new policy holders. But would be good if they did!

What would be good at least is the silly Great eastern ARP insurance they make us buy at ET. Makes no sense at all that everyone has to buy regardless BFP or not. :(

Tks Ron. K, no wonder I don't come across this in any insurance policy I was introduced to. Scared I blur blur nv claim.

Just to update, I did a bhcg test 2 days ago as instructed by dr Loh. He said take test to make sure levels are back to normal after the miscarriage. Results were 52. Think that means still not back to normal. Dr Loh ask me to just mail him the results and no need to see him. Did that but no reply. Nurse reminded him also no reply. Think he's too busy. Anyway, read online that it could be due to tissues left in the womb that's generating the hcg. Some ladies flush them out in the nx menses. Drinking med from Tcm so that should help flush them out. Not planning to try so soon for another bb so will wait. As long as no infection/fever, shld be ok. Heard Tcm tsb say dr Loh don't Favor washing womb. He prefer natural method.

Ladies
Do you Know doctor in sg doing "single selective embryo transfer " which is day 5 transfer only no matter how many embryos you have even if risk to cancel ET they push to day 5
Thanks ....
Gigi

Hi Ladies,
Congrats to sisters who just BFP! All the best to those waiting for BT :D

I am embarking in this IVF journey with you all too! On dup for 6 days now. 1 more day to go and wait for AF to come...

thanks ron for your clarification.

babydusty, if lining is not a min. 8mm better dont go ahead. my tcm say lining must be 8mm and above then can succeed. she say even at 8mm is borderline case already. so i would say wait for another cycle if this cycle cannot. but as long as ovulation not detected yet you still got chance to grow another 2mm.

gan, i waited for my doc during transfer for 1hr 30mins. and my bladder is so full i cannot tahan. till i give up want go toilet pee then guess what the doc is ready and then i no choice faster release for a quick 3sec. during the whole procedure i cannot relax keep tensing up dont know good for transfer anot and right after transfer i went straight toilet cannot lie even for a sec. hope it doesnt affect my result.

iwantahealthybaby, yesterday doctor measure 6-7mm dont know whats the exact. Den today its 6.3mm, despite the food i gobble the lining dont seem to grow! tomorrow will be decision day. IM SO SCARED AND SAD to decide!!!!

gan1972, doctor advise definitely to abort and do medicated cycle next round. Haizzzzzzzzzzzzz

Congratulations denmeg grabbing baby dustsssss, finally you are graduate. Can share what did you do and eat during 2ww?
@LoveG Thank you. I take my folic acid, vit E and brazil nuts daily. I drink chicken essence alt day. Breakfast ( I usu have oats, milk, cheese or tuna) , lunch ( I cook simply eg. Porridge, soup or noodles) dinner ( also home cooked food by my mother or MIL). I rest a lot for the first three days as I have a bit more cramps and bloatedness. By the 4 or 5 day, the bloatedness seem gone, so I can walk more and go out for walk nearby. If not I listen to music, read and do a bit scrapbooking. I believe if the mood is happy, the outcome will be better.
Oh I lifted my legs high and use a small pillow to place underneath my spine for support when I inserted the urogestan for about 10 mins for the 1st one week. ( maybe the gravitational pull will make the embryo stick tightly ). Hope this is helpful to you. :)

@iwantahealthybaby Yes, mine is a day 2 transfer and I calculated is d18 but my ivf form wrote d19 but I didn't query the nurse. I guess the higher the result is better and will indicated whether is it a singleton or twin pregnancy. Don't worry. Keep believing and no af mean good new.

Hi ladies..went to see Dr HH Tan earlier..he has recommended me to do the SIS test this Monday..and also encouraged to do endo scratching before FET..will be doing my FET in May..

pumpkin pie, understand medicated they scan lesser cause accoring to them is more controlled. but then again doesnt seems worth huh since their scan price is a package at $500+ no matter how many scans you go. the nurse told me fet is from 2-2.5k depending medicated or natural. if yours medicated is 2.1k+ then my natural fet only cheaper by $100+? mmmm find it quite expensive. and 1.5k cap is per couple (both singaporean)

ron, yes the great eastern insurance i thought buy one time can already if BFN they can wait till next try BFP then take effect. i didn know every transfer require us to pay. :(

Thanks denmeg, I sleep a lot also just because I am too tired, if we are sleeping side way, would it effected my embryo to implant? I might just think too much...haha

cheerywalnuts, so you seen your consultant at clinic d? i guess your ivf doc in charge will be dr jerry chan. the doc who speak to you could be his assistant.

yes denmeg i am only pinning my hope on no AF yet. BT seems so far away.

CONGRATULATIONS denmeg!!!
@babydusty Thank you. I believe your lining will increase more tml. I am also v scare initially as whether to abort the cycle or not but I decided if my lining is will not optimal than I will proceed with ER and freeze the embryos and wait for my lining to increase more than do ET. Did the doctor suggest this method to you?

No I don't think so. I m quite scare of my sleeping position initially but I have backaches ard day 5 so I just hack care and sleep sideways. I think comfort is most important. If I sleep comfortably I will be happy and the embryos will grow healthy.

Pumpkin, H&S plan paid by medisave under ntuc income Spontaneous miscarriage is covered. Look at the coverage table again. I have a rider that covers co payment n excess which ntuc income does not offer now. That means i dun hv to come out a single cent. 90 days before and after d&c, all expensea included i claimed. My plan is A class in restructured hospitals.

I understand Even if ladies get ohss n warded also can claim.

medicated n natural FET in kkh is 500 bucks different. Scanning cost is by package abt 500, regardless the no of times the sister did the scans.

denmeg. im doing fet, no ER is required. head spinning till can explode!

lets keep our fingers crossed @MichNg, got symptons is somehow more assuring than no symptoms.

@LoveG i started sleeping on my back during the 1st week after transfer but i find it hard to fall alseep in this position and if i do wake up in middle night to pee i can never go back to sleep. and thus i started side ways after that. much more comfy. i dont think side way will affect the implantation as after my transfer my tcm doc also acu me on my back asking me to turn sideways instead of face down.
