IVF/ICSI Support Group

I'm seeing a TCM for acupuncture and she has advised me to go for 5 consecutive days before FET and 1 after Day 2. Did anyone go for acupuncture after FET?

Going back to work is an excellent idea. Just that my work require lots of walking and is like fire fighting very day. Although I m not a fireman... Haha.
I m keeping my mind occupied with planning year end holidays... Plan but won't book first.

Hi magical, i'm doing only progesterone bt. They just wanna check my female hormones see if its enuff. If its ok, they wont call me.

Chris- U went to see which dr huh? y ur result out so fast? Gng back to collect ur medicine?
 
Chris congrats!!! Really happy for u. Is yr support different this round? U Did hw many days transfer? I think u have 3 more frozen??

Maomi- Hahahahahahaha......... OK!!!! I wont get it wrong again.. U know when is a gd time to test for preg? 10day? 12 day?
 
Maomi- I bought the kit just now from guardian.. LOL... Dun like tt la..

Any sistas here encounter low progesterone n need to take injection during 2ww? This is my 1st time leh.. All along i know my hormones not enuff de. Kkh tested during my last cycle also nv ask me to jab.

Lol.. Babydream, I think it's d12 .. I found this online:

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT
 
Babydream - My last cycle I started spotting 9dp2dt .. kkivf gave me extra oral pills in addition to the inserts but I didn't jab.. it didn't stop the spotting tho.. this time round I'm going to make sure I get maximum progesterone support.. Already told Dr S in my last appt with her and she says ok..

Judebabe, I understand. If ur work is hectic advise not to go bk to work till result is out. For me I try take it easy but tons of work is piling up and no one clear while I was away. Haiz... Just gg to do what I can.
 
babydream: when i was in kkh with dr loh my progesterone level was too low tat i need injectn everyday for 1 week. I was so sad coz i tot it was a gone case cor me. But it turns out to b a blessing n i hv a boy. So not to worry, just trust Dr. loh. he wont give u unecessary pain if he dun tink u need it.

Im currently preggie with my 2nd one with dr. loh helps too.
 
Hi all,

Need some helps on this. I did all the blood tests on 13 Jun tests all was ok accept prolactin. So when i went back on 28 Jun for reg and etc they ask me to retake the blood test again. first test 42 and 2nd test came back even higher at 48....Anyone know what will happen if my prolactin level is high?

I suppose to start IVF this Mid July after i finished the provera this week (left 4 days of 21 days medicine only)......As I heard from nurse they might postpone the start of the injection to go for brain scan.....which i dun want too....

Anyone happens before?

magical: yes my 2nd one also with dr. loh. After my 1st child born i went thru 1 failed fresh cycle n 2 failed fet. My 2nd one is my 3rd fet.
 
Babydream & Imel: No Im not under dr loh. Had done a fibroid surgery last year and 2 IUIs with him this year.

Went KKH for the ivf.

Halo sisters here, been on and off fr this thread but m bk again to seek some advices here.

Anyone gg thru med FET using blastocyst embbies ? Any reason for doing so ?
