Hi nervous babe, yes hang on there.. U be thru the tunnel soon. I was also given high dosage of gobal f. Where u doing ivf? I was given a type of supplement by Kkh to improve the body response to the stimulation drug, but I can't recall the know.
 


Lavender, i felt painful when the nurse inserted the needle. after that she pushed the medicine in very very slowly, so cannot really feel the pain. nurse say cos I'm the first time, so she pushed the medicine slower than usual. Its only after i sit up and she showed hubby the new set of needle to bring back that i saw how long it is :p
 
tintedsky, do you know what kind of freezing method does your clinic use?

Do you mean your AFC at ave of 4 to 8 follicle is consider low reserve at your clinic? How is your amh?
 
Just read that eating papaya should be avoided during 2ww and pregnancy? Gosh! I ate some couple of days back. Freaking out here. Anyone took papaya n has bfp??

Hi nervous bb, my gonal-f is 300, then few days later reduce to 225 coz add 1 more jab 75 ( forgot the name, it is kind of vitamin to follicle )
 
Sunstillshines - I would guess both. My latest amh is borderline at 6. my result does fluctuate a little from test to test over the yrs.
 
Hi Ladies, went to see Prof Wong today.

Ok, for those NUH gals who discussed about the new program with me weeks back, here's how the new program works. I'm starting norethisterone on Day 18. NUH will dispense 10 days worth of norethisterone. CHR will tell you to take how many days. For me, I'm taking 8 days, then 5 days later will start the stim. According to CHR Jane, 5 days after the pills is the best time to start stim. Hence, I'm starting the pills on 1 June, end on 8th then seeing prof for 1st scan on 13th. On 13th, I will start my stim. Somewhere around the 17th, will have to add on 1 more jab on top of gonal f. ER will be 23 - 26th. ET will be 3 days later. This is based on short protocol.
 
Hi sisters. I just got diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy today. After my 2nd icsi concluded with BFN in April, we of coz BD when I got an LH surge. Then, I started spotting from D18, till now.

Last week at my gynae appt at SGH, Dr Yong ordered a hcg-beta test and it came back at 305. But P2 was only 5. So was on duphaston since. Today's scan showed, as half expected, an empty uterus with an unknown spot seen outside it, on d right. Hcg-beta is now at 246. The only good news of d bad is I don't need any extreme intervention for now, like surgery to remove tissues &amp; worse, my precious fallopian tube.

All I can pray for is for hcg to lower to zero quickly and for AF to return. I need like to go back to normal asap for my FET. Wusher me luck pls. :-(
 
maomi,wow v fast u gg for ur cycle liao. Excited for u. I oso juz got my norethisterone from prof few days ago hehe, prof ask me to call chr when af is here. Think mine will b starting around 20th of d mth. U gg to chr on 30 may rite, think i will b able to c u around

I'm supposed to be 5week now. Oh well. It's just not meant to be. The road for us is already so tough, and this is the first time in 4 years since i started ttc that i got a natural positive pregnancy result. Yet, this has to end this way. I only hope our chances of pregnancy don't reduce even more after this.
 
Hi Maomi, are you aware you have to be on protected sex while taking the nor-e?

She didn't say why. But I believe the earlier stims may have had some effect coz I never had any fallopian tube blockage. Will need this to clear up before I can do any test to confirm the latter. She ordered hcg-beta last week to ensure that I'm not preggy before prescribing me a drug to stop d bleeding, which is preggy-unfriendly. Who would have known? Sigh.
 
Jedai, really sorry to hear tat. Try to have a mini confinement n tiao ur body n get ur body ready for ur FET. Believe ur FET will b a success one. Hugs...

Laki,20 May to start stim or nor-e? Yeah, 30th is the psychiatrist appt. My appt is 330pm. You?

Starry, yes, was told to use protection, was told the menses will come as well but I don't have to worry about which CD it is already.
 
So fast start nor-e... so nice hehehe. I'm only starting on 1 June cos my menses just came. Yeah, most likely will still see you. Will look out for you.
 
ladies, I got a question. 1dp2dt means wat ah? 1 day past 2 day transfer? So means hpt can be done when? 

I started my stim jab today. More painful than lucrin. Sob sob... my med very ma fan, got to mix here n there. Got to jab 450iu, according to my tcm, the dosage is quite high.

Went kk for scan on tues, before getting the go ahead for the stim jabs. Lining was 5mm n right side only got 3 follicles, left side nothing. Is this normal or not?
 
sleepygal, 1dp2dt = day 1 passed day2 embryo transfer. This is the day1 of 2ww. As such, cannot test hpt. some hospital required bt on day 17. If I am not wrong, hpt can be tested on 15dp2dt.

what med are you mixing? total med to make up to 45oiu?
 
Jedai, do you mean you suspect the ivf jabs cause you to have fallopian tube blockage and that is why resulted in ectopic pregnancy?

Have you done the test to check if your fallopian tube was blocked?

If your fallopian tube was blocked, how did the sperm meet the egg?
 
Tintedsky - not yet.. I am on long protocol only suppressing now, haven even started stim. My ER will probably be mid Jun so by end July I should know.

So long... I feel like my entire life is on hold! I can't plan for holiday, I see cheap air ticket I can't just grab.. Gotta travel for work and it right smack in June so it's neither here nor there.. Argh!!!
 
tintedsky, nor e is actually a new cycle program by nuh, it will affected those patients gg ivf cycle in jun. Nor e will help to regulate d size of d follicles so that d follicles can b of d same size.

feel v emo 2day, got to know 3 of my frens r pregnant now, haiz all of them get married later than me, now all of my married fren r either pregnant or already w kids, really cnt help feel bad for myself, y so diff for me to hve a kid of my own, really not feel gd nw

Ladies, anybody seeing Dr Zou Yu Min currently? Is the queue worst than last 2 years? Is it difficult to make appt for weekday evenings? Cos I haven't seen her for quite awhile but thought of seeing her since I'm starting my ivf soon.
