I think we were given lower doses of stimulation becos we have higher risks of developing ohss.. You are high risk becos of ohss.. I am high risk cos I responded too well in my round of so-iui with only 50iu of puregon.. Dun worry, after the first scan, the endocrinologist will decide whether to increase or decrease you dosage based on your ovarian follicle reponse..

Genna, don't believe in your fengshui master..luck can change wan, believe in yrself. i feel with yr passion & positive vibes for children will change yr luck for the better, time will tell & heal. Have a gd talk with yr hubby tell him yr feelings & both of u take a break fr bb mission..embark on something both u like & rekindle the love that brings u both 2gether.
 
genna- Big Hugz..i know there's alot of things going thru ur mind right now..i think we shld take the feng shui master with a pinch of salt...i consulted a feng shui master last year for my house, for bb issue also...he said my house really no ren qi (ie no people energy), as in really lousy feng shui in my house, only good place to make babies is in the bomb shelter ...he even suggested i shift house if possible...So, jus take the feng shui words on surface ok? i'm sure he told you ways to improve the feng shui to have a bb also?
Dun blame urself, it's nobody's fault. I am sure one day, god will be touched your determination and grant u a bb...
 
Weaky & Val- It depends on yr TCM. My TCM Dr recommend to do accupuncture on 1st week of 2ww, but no herbs to be taken instead.
I did not go for my 1st fresh, but will do accu in my 2nd fresh.
 
Genna, Read ur post. Dun feel sad. I was same as u previously as I MC for the fresh cycle n fail for FET. I also think very negative n think a lot a lot of -ve things. I even think of adoption etc.... No need to feel u let down ur DH as this is not the result that u wish to have. Cry out for today and plan for next cycle.
I believe if we continue trying one day we will have our own bb/bbies. I feel this thread is useful as atleast a place that someone is understand our feeling. Not everybody can understand this IVF journey.

Dun think negatively. It's ok to cry today to let out the frustration..but u got to pick urself up, tell urself all becos you want a bb soooo badly... u must pick up... cruel as it sounds, nobody can help you pick up, not even hubby...at mosthubby can talk to you, but if you yourself cant thinkk straight, then no matter how much talking is useless..moreover, ur hubby may not be 'strong' enough (as you said, he is sad after this failed cycle) to 'talk' or console you. So, u must be strong. "sstrong' is an understaement..u shld be vvvv strong emotionally coz IVF is already v demanding and now withfailure, its even more demanding and taxing on emotions...YOU GOT TO PICK YOURSELF UP NO MATTER WHAT....Whatever it is, you are not alone... Jia you!!!!

ur fengshui master want you to do the activity in bomb shelter? In wat way is that place a place with ren qi?What a joker leh. If one day, he asks you to do over stove coz got qi (fire), then got to follow his instructions lor...
Genna, u see, sometimes, we must always listen with a pinch of salt, like what clb says....if not, everyday we need to tread carefully when we walk coz there will be 101 don'ts.
 
Genna; pls be strong. We all know how it feels like to not get what we want. All of us here r here for the same reason. A child. Take it as a test from god u will pass this test but 1st u have to tell urself u can do it. Yes, it is not easy especially when ppl tell u, u can't have child but U MAKE UR OWN DESTINY. If u put ur head into it no one can stop u. U haven't let it hubby down. U r doing whatever possible to make ur dream cone true and it will. For now u have to be strong. Okie.

Hi Genna, I'm sorry to hear your results..but don't be overly upset over this ok? Give urself a good break before trying again.

Why believe in fengshui master? Mine (a very famous master..if I were to say his name, I'm sure most will know) ever said that it will take v long for me to have my #1. After my #1, he said my #2 is a gal....

I did my IVF in late '09, 1 year after he did the fengshui for my house and gave the comments on our fertility issues. Lucky for me and hb, we bfp during that 1st attempt and received our bundle of joy in '10. Now, I'm preggy with #2 who is a boy. So, cannot trust fengshui 100% hor....

Yes, so many sis are encourageous and never gives up, u shouldnt too.. Me hv been trying 7 yrs for a 2nd kid and has been numerous up and down but i never give up.. As i always believe one sentence 留得青山在，不怕没柴烧。if u do anything stupid then u really letting ur hb and ur parent disappointed and down.. Go for a short trip and try ur best next round k.. Me hv been taking tcm for whole of last yr after two mc hoping to tiao myself well before start ivf too.. In the mean time, i still try natural but fail so embark on this tedious journey.. But i am glad that i didnt give up so u shouldnt too k.. Dun believe what feng shui say, u will be letting urself down if u believe.. Jiayou k..;)

BNB - MtE frooze 3 but embryologist was only confident of 1 embryo (2 more marginally passed but prob won't get to blast). Doc recommend if can afford go another cycle of fresh as still producing decent eggs but just didn't strike. DH & i talked money can earn again, but time may not, so gearing up mentally to do another cycle. But I am going back to dr cheng this round, so when i see him in May will see if he thinks can try FET. Secretly, I am hoping i do FET & strike boy/girl twins & close shop.. hahaha. but that one i dreaming still....

Is lettuce the same as those chinese cabbage thatwe cook for soup during CNY? Is yes, then it is liang..but take in modereation is fine.
 
76- ang moh lettuce is those green crunchy ones for salad..round round ones.
chinese lettuce is oso very green and crunchy but is more like those in bunch type

I is at dr zou now with needles on my body! Omg! First time!! Although dunno how to speak Mandarin, I used many sign languages and I can understand what she say lar.. She's cool..

j03- ok, will see how next week... coz i jus talked to my colleague with 2 girls... she says it's safe to do v scan during initial stage... she said she did v scan b4 6 weeks and that was when discovered the blood clots in womb, so immed start support jabs, thankfully bb delivered safe and sound... but she says tummy scan may not be tat accurate to detect issue during early stage...hmm.. everyone has their own views...guess we jus have to decide and make our own decisions..=)..yes, main thing is still to remain calm, no stressie!

Rainzz- my fav kakiage rice burger meal! u bought the set? what did u do with the cold drink de?

itjabi- when is ur BT? yes, we decide our own life and destiny...
 
clb- erm...i drink abit of ice milk tea..then dump into fridge..
wait for hubs to come home drink.wahahahah
cannot lah,buay tahan no cold drinks..each time take abit oso happy.

Yes, most impt is u must feel comfortable with ur own decision..;) some check early as worry abt etopic too.. I scare of trigger my stress again so decide to wait and enjoy my these 2wks first..;)
 


silsilly- it's cool that you kept ur cool.. i freaked out the first time i did it and cried...really malu..so u keep it up girl, better late than never!
