How do u know if medicated or natural? I'm seeing my dr this mon to determine next fet..
Which clinic u with? What's the payment like for fet?
 
12BMami, my menses is not regular type, my dr decided it is a medicated one. I am with NUH and was tld that medicated FET cost about 3k+. You can choose to pay by medisave . Amount you can claim by medisave depend on the no. of time you use for ART (1st time 6k, 2nd 5k , 3rd 4k... ladies correct me if i am wrong) But my hb n i decided to pay in cash since it is less than claimable amount... and reserve the chance till fresh but hopefully we dun need it

I'm so sad.... Sob sob...

Yest went for ET, embryologist told me only 3 surviving embryos and they rest are not reacting well, cannot frozen either.
Should have 8 cells as of yest but they are only 6 and 7 cells... chances of pregnancy is barely 1%... My heart sink... tears dropped... suddenly feels so lost.. so helpless...

Still make the decision to have all the 3 embryos transferred... I feels so sad... Though only 1%, i hope they cling on and hold on there...

Dun be sad...
You have been very brave and determined to have made the decision to transfer them. You have done your best in not giving up on them and have given a chance your embryoes could reciprocate and cling on. Miracles do happen. Till the day of BT you still have hope! Jia you
 
Hi Susan, don't be sad, there is still hope. I only got 4 eggs collected, 1 abnormal and only 2 transferred, nothingto freeze. We hve done what we can, rest leave to God. Stay hopeful, like many said, miracles too happen.

dun worry, u only need one good embryo to bfp. i'm sure yr 3 surviving embryos are tougies.

did dr loh/embroylogist say why only 3 managed to survive?
 
Susan, no prob... this forum is here for us to support one another. The path to conceiving is especially difficult for us although it happen so easily to others. I learn we can only do our best and ensure it is the path of least regret if we do look back one day...

flower&fruits,jcxuan - went for my D10 scan toady.
Lining :4mm. Egg Size R:8, L5.
Nurse recommend for min lining at 8mm and to start 'O' kit when egg reach 14.

i hope at least at least one hold on and cling on...

suppose to do BT also never do, dora said I got side effect at all so dont need... I ask her dont have side effect is gd news or bad news, she only mention depend on individual.

Even Dr loh also puzzle why my E2 so high and I got no side effect.
embryologist said 6 of them are not reacting very slow or not reacting only have 4 cells, by right the embryologist should be calling me today to inform me whether the 6 can be freeze or got to throw away but they never call me. The rest got defragment in it cannot use at all...

Phew... now the waiting game for 2 weeks...
 
Syrah, how come u you on ocp? You are under kkh rite? I thought the protocol was 21days after Aug menses start lucrin? My LMP was 19jul and 32 cycle days so expecting AF to come only next wk.. Can't wait to start ivf =D

do you really stay at home during the 2ww? bedrest at home? not going to mother's or in-laws house? i find that i can't really bedrest at home all the time. hv cooked for myself and went out occasionally. but find that now my stomach feeling cramp. i'm 8 days after ET. is this normal? or i move too much?
 
Phoe - hi have you been busy, didn't see you log in for a while ...

Luteal phase is the days from ovulation to the next AF, according to the net average should be 14 days tho it can range from 10 - 16 days, anything below 10 is short .... some stricter standards less then 12 is short ...

If it is short it means that your lining will start to "shed" early and may not last long enuf for implantation to happen ...
 
in ivf, all the sperms are in the petri dish to fertilise the egg. in icsi, only one sperm (with good shape) is directly injected into the egg. icsi is usu used in poor sperm motility to boost the fertilisation.

Congrats Babychloe! May I check with you the cordeceps pills is for what? Is it too late for me to take now if I cycle using Aug AF? Can we take cordeceps pills during 2ww? Hubby can take as well? Sorry for so many questions..

Susan, some seniors here also bfp with not so good grade embryos. Dun think too much, just rest well during the 2ww. U only need 1 to bfp.
 
in nuh, i think they only got good, satisfactory and poor. i think mine is either good or satisfactory.... can't remeber. i hope they can survive the thaw. Sometimes feel sad i cannot host them because mine is an aborted ET cycle due to mild to moderate Ohss.
 
lucky_starz: I'm 8 days after ET too .. I did my ET last sat (7 Aug) ...

Occasional twidge at my pelvis sides but not any serious cramp sensations. this morning woke up & my boobs not sore at all .. so I think different pple different reaction

I stop going out (even visit my mum & MIL hse) ordered tingkat lunch to be delivered to my house..

No proof stating that total bed-rest will have positive results so don't worry about yr activities .. as long as its not strenuous to u
 
Susan, don't be disappointed. Stay positive.

Just to share, i transfered 3 embryos, 8,7 and 6 cells. and all 3 implanted.

High E2 is also a good sign.

Most important, take good care of urself during 2ww and be happy!

high E2 is gd?? Tot is no gd will have water retention in the lung if not treated properly?

Im feeling so normal... no side effect nothing only butt painful due to the jab... phew... 3 more jabs to go...

Thank you everyone... Im staying positive and moving on...1% also some hopes I can look forward to...

JJ, which tingkat u try? Thgt of trying nxt wk. I am 3 days after ET. So far nt going out but hard, coz mum and mil asking coz we visit every wk. Did nt tell them.
 
ya not much bloating after eating ... dont knw if good sign or not ...

now slight achey on-off feeling at hip bones there...

i believe yrs shd be icsi. Dr loh doesn't do ivf only she will always do ivf with icsi.

actually the side effects are really quite individual. my E2 was also abt 10k and i hv totally no side effects during puregon jabs and after ET. but the pregnyl jab really 'kill' me. but then only the 1st wk of 2ww i had side effects, 2nd wk i was totally normal and i still manage to bfp.

so dun worry too much abt symptoms or no symptoms. just eat well and stay positive.
 
ya i also hope so ... i will just note how i'm feeling each day in my journey ...

thinking positive!! or rather not over thinking the symptoms ...
