ya..I truly understand the pain & sadness of MC.. when my fren had mc, I consoled her but I will always rem she said "u did not have mc before, u will never know how my feeling is now" now I truly understands.. but alas, life need to move on.. we must look at the bright side.. I'm looking forward to carrying my bb soon..let's look forward to that

Gan, thanks for the support u've shown. eating fruits and drinking lots of water... and my runny nose seems to have gone... thanks. will be going KKH for my progeterone BT tomorrow. hope the reading is fine... just another of the countless milestones...

u must take care, ok... r u with KKH too? forum is too fast for me and i tend to get lost easily...

ya got to rest more after er..until nw i feelin very cramp..tday got alot of ppl, i duno the timing..i change at ard 9.30am and i left kkivf at ard 2pm..waited for medicine and left kkh at ard 2.45pm.

jy..last time i go so-iui my follicles also grow very slow..i gt 5 follicles in e end only 1 is 16mm, rest din grow or grow only 0.5mm

good that u r recovering. Btw fruits dun eat those cooling ones like water melon, pineapple, banana, treat urself like preggy!=)

hi ladies,

when u take egg whites after ET, do u take them raw, soft or fully cooked? i read on some sites, to avoid raw egg, so i'm confused here..
 
Hi Poppy,

during IVF, I always take fully cooked egg white, raw/half cooked egg can risk salmonella, according to the nurses we shouldn't take any half / uncooked food esp after ET.

Dun worry abt follicle numbers. I was on 2nd soiui this cycle. Eggs were not growing. almost wanted to abandon the cycle but we decided to hang on cos lining was good. (during early scan, was already 8mm.. and time of ER, my lining was 11mm.. ). Dr Loh doubled the puregon dosage. Eggs still din grow. Really wanted to give up. Then the nx day scan suddenly saw my eggs growing at 3.5mm.... it continued to grew and due to egg over stimulated, it was converted to IVF. I only have 13 eggs retrieved. 5 fertilised. 3 grade 3 and 2 grade 4. I transferred 2 embies. Now I am 8 weeks preggy.

Please stay positive and keep thinking to your embies. It works. Nobody could explain on my resistance cycle at first. But I am glad I chose the path to convert it to IVF.

Balroggal, Woah! That's a lot. May I check with u hw many days of jab u are on for the stimulation n what's the units u are asked to jab.
I was telling my DH I feel nothing so kind of worried but I no reaction n he was jokingly asking, u bloated at ur hips, cos I got big hips. **Faint**

Just Faith, that's for ur inspiring True story and it definitely spurs us on that we must have Faith in our follicles.
BTW, do we take chicken essence nw or aft ER?

Just Faith, thanks for sharing n booster in positive mindset. I did ask for increase for dosage puregon but request was declined..heehee maybe I too anxious.
Btw, how do we grade e egg, Higher or lower nos is better (grade 3 or grade 4)?
And also during 2ww what kind of support can I or am I suppose to ask for? Or jus simply stay at home till BT day?

I used to be from here... Graduated in may 2009 with twin boys, under Dr Paul Tseng.. am on fet cycle now.. Will be doing ET on wed... I think pandawife said something abt ET for Dr Paul on wed morning?? That'll be me!! Wish me luck!!
 
I just had my pregnayl jab.... iui on wed and thurs. keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I'll strike and I'm very hopeful for this cycle!!

Dun mind me being kay poh. Not sure whether Faith is doing the same way but what I usually do is I slow cook the Bai feng wan with 1 piece of chicken/pork with 1 cup of water. Takes abt 1 to 1 and half hour to cook if you are using slow cooker. It is advisable to eat the meat too. What I do is I mash the pill with some hot water so that it dissolve faster. I usually buy from Eu Ren Sen. Was advise by them that cook type is better than oral taken type.

Just faith. Thks for sharing ur positive vibes. It gives me the assurance that less no of follicles can do it too. Guess all I need to do now is to have faith in my follies n leave the rest to my God.

hmm.. i have been with Dr Paul Tseng for the last 5/6 years.. he is really nice.. i just hate the funny parking at TMC.. anyone will be there tomorrow in the morning? i will be there for my ET at 7.45am..

usually all are asked to go early cos Dr PT has consultation from 9 at TMC.. so.. he usually settles CARE stuff early in the morning.. hmm.. you girls gotta id yourself when we all are there!!

how many of you girls will be there tomorrow?

mel/panda: i know dr philip from my day surgery...no wonder i felt like deja vu...cos both docs look alike...

so i presume tomorrow my anesthetist is dr philip? then i am not sure frightened...he did a good job the previous op i had .

i heard from my relatives abt Eu Ren Seng Bai Feng Wan tat it helps fertility... buy bai fen wan from established medical hall is better... just my two cents worth...

today, i'm on mc... got sinus..lead to severe headache... tot it was side effects from lucrin.. i called kkivf.. they says i shld be running a flu.. ask me to go nearest gp.... now better... resting at home... hee
 
the lower abdomen feels heavy since yesterday....but still bearable...

excited and a little apprehensive cos not sure how many usable eggs heheh

Hi Daylesford, I am with Dr Cheng at TFC too. I just had my ER on Sunday. Will do doing FET in July/August. All the best to you! Eat healthy and stay healthy!

I had my ER on Sunday and feeling much better today. So think you should be able to do some housework by Friday. But do take care cos I think the abdomen area may still be a little weak. I feel it when i move too fast. So hubby don't let me do anything, just rest.

Thanks dear, nice to meet you too!

The abdomen area felt a bit heavy and weak when i went back home after ER. So got to slow down all movements. Only slight cramping but it is bearable so quite ok.

There were 20 eggs. Half was fertilised using ICSI and half with normal IVF.

But only 12 eggs were successfully fertilised and will be frozen. Will check with the embroyologist tomorrow about the grade.
