After the jap last night, did you feel sore on the thight ? My appt was changed to 8 pm last night, I saw a indian couple there when I reach the clinic, is that you ?

I have problem sleeping, keep waking up to go toilet but only a bit of water and the organs are so painful when releasing the muscle. Can't find the right position to sleep in peace.

Yes, because of OHSS, we cant eat anything much, not even eggwhite.. the taste just sucks. So, only protein powder can replace that.

i think so long as its protein powder, shld be the same. But most of us here drinking Amway protein powder.

increase weight is ok as long as does not cause any high blood pressure or high sugar level. Do check with your gynae for next visit. Take care

My thigh still feels very sore and a little numb at the area of the jab.. In fact, it felt so weird, i missed 2 steps on my way down on a flight of steps at work just now and lost my balance.. luckily my left hand manage to break d fall n i land with a soft thud on my right butt cheek.. Quickly called my dh for comfort.. I hope everything is alright in there.. Im so scared.
Dew, my jab was at 9pm.. when I reached there, we saw an Indian couple too and I was wondering if that was you. Was out of the place by 9.15pm. Btw, me and DH are mly.

anyone with similar result and went on to stage 2??
think mine is too low... dunno will need to abort cycle or not...

hi ladies, went for scan and E2 BT this morning...waiting for results this afternoon...was able to buy my Puregon and now just waiting for the phone call...if all is well, i can proceed to stage 2 on thursday....

rainstone, what time was your bloodtest this morning? got your results so fast?

you are well suppressed. mine was also 37 picomol previously as well.. and proceeded to stage 2, and reacted well too. nurse said the figure is good, so dont worry k.

On dear, be careful with yr steps.. better rest and dont move around too much. Dont worry too much, the eggs are cushion by our fats :p

Nope, not me, we chinese couple , we left at 8:15 pm.
 
rainstone, don't worry, my E2 was <18.4 and I also continued into stage 2, but doctor halved my Lucrin from 20iu to 10iu. I'm now into Day 7 of Lucrin.

Can anyone advise is it a must to do the HCG jab at the hospital? This is to release the eggs and done 36hrs before ER right? Thanks,

Hi Meow, Spiffy, my tummy feel strange now. My menses ended yesterday but i still feel a bit discomfort around my tummy area. dont know how to describe it. not pain, just discomfort. Is this normal ?
 
berrybaby - it depend on the size of ur biggest follicle and it is not costly ... not difficult as u only need to mix the powder with the water and then inject ...

hcg jab is quite simple only need a little bit more attention when breaking the bottle and it costs less than lucrin.
 
berryfarmer - yes, the injection must be done @ night. As for the cost, i cannot remember. I also remember that you should not take more than once in a week for aloe vera

i am stageless now as my cycle has been aborted due to oversurpressed. Once u reached 18mm, they should advise you when to do the hcg.
 
elle, sorry about that. May I ask what does of Lucrin were u on? I was quite suppressed too, my E2 at D15 was <18.4, but they say it was ok 4 me to continue to stage 2 (my Lucrin is 20iu)

hi elle, sorry to hear that ur cycle has been cancelled! it is so frustrating... may I know what was ur dosage of suprefact/lucrin? Did you extend your suppression ( lucrin period) And on what information that you are advised to cancel...

My initial dosage was 20iu for 14 days.after 14days jab,my e2 result shows 1800. Therefore doc extend my lucrin for another week with dosage 40iu. Another e2 test was done and it was 16.then i proceed to stage 2 with gonalF 187.5. But the egg's growth is very slow. At D8 the biggest only at 12mm. Advised to extend the gonalF and increased the dosage to 225. Finally at D18, the scan shows the biggest only at 14.5mm.Therefore the cycle was cancelled.
Yes, it is indeed frustrating and now i give myself a break.

berrybaby, the HCG must be done at night and the nurse will tell you wat time you need to go for the jab according to the time for you ER. Its quite hard to say how many BT and scan you need to do before deciding the time for HCG. For most people, its about 2 times scan during puregon stage. Some people say that the jab on the thigh is painful but when I jab on my thigh, I felt that the pain is ok.

Monica, I will be taking that but not now since I'm taking the Folic Acid from NUH. I don't know whether can we overdose on Folic Acid ah?
I'm taking 10mg a day now prescribed by NUH. CHR nurse told me to stop the vit and just take this first. So I listen loh.

vi4n - 10mg?? i'm given 5mg at KKH. Anyway, you can't overdose on folic acid..you'll just pass the excess out in urine.

Speaking of overdosing, i've just stopped taking my daily multi-vitamin pill because there's overlap with the Anmum i'm drinking twice daily, which should be sufficient for now...
 
Oxidised &amp; Dew, U 2 feeling better? Actually u 2 should take whey protein powder, it reduces OHSS &amp; u will feel less bloated. Oxidised, fyi, when u were hospitalised, the drip is protein drip.

The whey protein powder which I ordered came today.. Will start on that. I am already taking 2 egg white a day starting yesterday, once i start puregon, will up the intake of egg white &amp; protein powder. coz once on puregon, the bloatedness &amp; discomfort may come so, must up protein intake.
 
U may wonder how i know all these. My gf had 2 kids from 2 separate IVF fresh cycles at KKH by Dr Loh. Each time she retrieved at least 20 eggs. but she only suffer slight discomfort coz she ate as many as 4 egg whites a day during puregon. Actually, she had a FET after the 2 fresh IVF cycles, she was successful also.. but had a miscarriage. Oh ya, she took cordcepys also.. so, am taking that also in the morning before food so that it is well absorbed. when i reach office, i will eat the egg white I packed &amp; my bread for breadfast. i snack on brazil nut. n now, i will make protein powder drink in PM to drink.

Oh ya, i also make red bean + red dates + wolfberries dessert to take a few times a day... nutritious &amp; for blood circulation. During the day at work, i also pour hot boiling water over red dates &amp; wolfberries to drink. this will keep the body warm
