Dear Edel, hopewish and all sisters here....
Doc do V-scan around 8 minutes(i'm around 5 weeks plus now) and ..... I'm so nervous. Before scan, he keep asking my mum to come in. Then only when my mum come in, then he start his scan). First, he scan 1st bb, then he say, well, this is no.1, let us move the other side, then this is no.2. Doc says "Congrats you have TWINS !!"
Then he scan again, and we saw two sacs/embries. Too early for heartbeat. Need to come back again three weeks later (during 8th week). So be flying back again here!
Zillion thanks to all sisters here, as u all had been very supportive since my treatment till now. You all will fullfill your motherhood dreams and join us at MTB soon

I did bought this book already.Just hope to get more useful info fm u gals cos wat t book written might not been so gd as wat u gals personally went thrg will tend to know more wat is harmful to intake.I read Zita West saying tat must take more bean but I went & c TCM I were told not to take beans at all.

i totalli agree with u..the Zita West book not 100% good.. dat's y i did ask m gynae is there any book tha write IVF/ICSI in S'pore..but too bad till now dun have..

thank you for your support all this time. You gals keep me sane. I have tested on last Sat. It was negative, then my breasts became less and less tender and tummy less and less bloated. My AF just came, one day before my test date but I sort of expect it too. Haven't had any strong symptoms at all ever since after ET. Thank you once again and for all your prayers. I will take a good rest now.

I am seriously considering TCM and may be acupuncture. Just thinking whether the acu needles are properly disinfected before reuse or do they use disposable ones?

Unfortunately blood test came back negative...am very sad and disappointed but I've tried my best. I guess I sort of expected it cos I felt very normal after the ET but was just hoping for the best. Nevermind, I will rest and then try again the next round. Thanks for all your support and encouragement.

edel, the acupunture needles are disposable ones. So, not to worry that they were used before. Right after the acupunture, they will remove and throw the needles away.

I dun really know how long before IVF we must do ACU, but I heard from other sisters, it better to start as earlier as possible.
As for natural preganancy, it will start before the ovalation but not sure if it is for IVF cycle.
I have 2 addresses here that others sisters tried before:- (You may call and ask )

TCM needs a very very long time, at least more than 6 months to see whether it works and we need to be very very persistent while waiting. I have seen JE medical hall for almost 3 years, but no results. Have stopped for a while and now started with Xia Rong for this cycle.
I asked Xia Rong and she said ACU will help to increase the chances to conceive either IVF or natural. But the problem is not everybody could stand the process of ACU. I have yet to try it. I will start with the AMK lady, cos she will be using Xia Rong's method.

I had 2 inseminations this cycle - my first attempt on SO-IUI after 6 failed normal IUI attempts.
Now I am 10 days after first insemination and 8 days after the 2nd. I am on progesterone inserts.
Doc asked me to go back for HCG test this coming sat - which is like 2 weeks after 1st insemination. Isn't this a bit early?
I think subconsciously I don't want to face the music - if it is bad news.
Advice? when do you usu do the HCG blood test? Also will the progesterone inserts cause a false positive in the HCG blood test?

I recently also went 4 acupunture at Eu Yan Sang,it not tat expensive.1st consultatn $12 follow by t acu abt $16 & after next visit $8 4 consultatn plus acu $16.I heard tat have 2 complete by 1 course abt 10 sessions then u will c t results.
I will going 4 my IVF soon now just waitg 4 my AF.Don't give out let us "JIA YOU" 2gether.

I went Tiong Bahra Eu Yan San cos I stay around at TB.Don't worry no need to undress at all,just need 5 needle were do,2 on t leg 3 around our stomach which is along our ovary there.
Me vy hard to comment cos this is t 1st clinic I went 4 accupunture.
Painful is during when they poke in & take out fm u,just a slight pain don't worry.
This is my 2nd acupunture only,I rmber 1st time after acupunture 1 of my side of t stomach there got blueblack so 2nd visit I ask t sinseh y got blueblack,he reply me as depend on individual.

i had my ET todae..no pian at all..Is ER still make me feel pain..after ET i slp awhile at home then start wlking le...but got to walk slowly as the pain after ER still there

me n hubby think le..we very scared of triplets..and the insurance payable is higher..we finalli promote liao..todae see my Embryo photo i kp laughing..coz very funny..these two little dot will becm bb inside me..
.. How you feelng now? u still feel the pain after ER? i had my HCG injection done every three days...u had it everyday ah?

Got to drink more water during the 2ww. It helps to prevent/reduce OHSS which happens to some pple when their ovaries are over stimulated. Symptoms are pain at the ovaries, bloatedness and nausea. u take care, will be waiting for ur good news!
