IUI/SO-IUI: Anyone?

BB, you will know your results sometime on 12th Nov then, 14 days right? Patience! Every chance is a good chance to positive results. If you are younger than me, your chances are higher too. My hormone results came out that I am aging...my eggs are lesser and going downhill.

Keep us posted. Excited...
 


MOMO my IUI is one day after urs...sunday.

Koala,I will only test after my af absent for 2-3 days (AF due on 15th), cos last few cycle AF come on time, no chance to test also, but at least save my hpt.

Hi girls
Just shared my IUI journey, My activities as per normal.
1. 1day rest after IUI.
2. Took folic acid and Duphaston medicine after IUI.
3. Feel breast sore and sensitive 3days after IUI
4. D10 after IUI, blood test (HCG level 3)
5. D11 spotting
6. D12 blood test again(wed) in the morning. Nurse called afternoon to confirm positive. (HCG level 34) Afternoon also got brown spotting.
7. Today went to see gynae, took a jab reduce spotting.
8. Tomorrow going to do another blood test to check the HCG level.
According to dynae, if HCG level is <1, means not preggie. And each day should double up the count, so my beta counting was from 3 to 34, which is good.
I did a scan too, doc said my womb is changing to have room for babies to grow, that's good progress. Now is I need to rest more, less walk.....

Yah I think my blood test done a bit too early too. But gynae said so I just follow.. Guess wasted a lot money for that...
My gynae maybe too kiaong cheong too....
1st time IUI, don't know what to do just follow. Whatever they gave me I just took and pay pay....
Tomorrow need to do blood test again.... It will be my D14 after IUI.

I injected on the D2 of period, each time injected 100units, for 9 days.
My hubby troops collected 59m, but only took 5.9m with heads and tails. Doc said it's good enough.
But he didn't extract for quite sometimes. So 2 days be4 IUI doc asked him to release the old sperms, so on the IUI day. It will be the new sperms, quite siong for him....
 
Carol, no wonder your IUI cost is higher than us. mine is $1.3K but i only had 3 injections and 75IU each time. so comparing 225IU and ur 900IU. so impressive! might have chance for twins or triplets

Enjoy the 9 month process now, take good care of yourself.

To the rest of gals here who on 2ww, all the best to you all too....i believe more and more good news coming.....maybe end up left me in this forum...hahahaha.....me now try nothing and wasted a month...sigh...waiting for AF to report and start my IVF.......so excited but yet scare. Scare fail and i will be real sad......
 
MOMO n Carol both u did SO-IUI right, mine is just normal IUI with clomid, only 2 matured follicle, guess chance is slim..
my DH sure not agree on SO-IUI if he know i need to jab myself. He always say we already have a girl, no need so suffer. But he actually wanted 4 kids, but he just dont want to move further.

Since u have already one by natural way, I think you don't need to go SO-IUI like me. Just relax. When will u know the result?

I go to THOMSON medical. L4. I don't know how to define if my hubby and me r healthy. Coz we straight proceed w IUI.

I had blood test on D10 after IUI to check m HCG level. 1st Tim came out HCG 3, 2nd times on D12 HCG 34. and I also think that my blood test was too soon, usually D14 will be more accurate. Today is my D14 another blood test again, just now the clinic called me to tell me that HCG become 328. Usually the no. will double each day, but my no. is jumped like 10 times. They suspect it's twin or triplet....

ur IUI cost 2x higher than us but u got 2 of them..so happy for u

It's not confirmed twin or triplet lah. But at least it's conformed that I am preggie... Coz till this morning I was very worried that my HCG count will remain or reduce. Due to my brown spotting.... Now grateful that HCG remains up...
Dragonhope, I am visiting a female gynae, and yes I will follow her throughout the process though very exp...
Hi Momo, I think HPT will not be o accurate on early stage. And to be honest w u, my blood test on D10 also a bit too early... The earlier u did, the more worry u get... Just like me... I don't think any one experience like me doing blood test 3 times in a wk. I did mom, wed and fri....

I have been waiting for my AF to report but somehow went wrong.. i was prescribe medicine to induce my menses... actually AF should report on 22nd Oct (medicine shld end 19th Oct) but AF reported on 16th Oct.. this puzzle me.. I called my doc (w/o knowing tt was AF) she said is normal &amp; ask me to wait for my AF to report but guess what I waited for 6 days but nothing came... so i went and see my doc.. she ask me to take clomid but it was my CD10 but she said is alright coz i am not ovulating... so i took clomid for 5 days and follow by a scan on last friday... Doc did told me i might not ovulate by then (which i knew it too).. but no harm to scan.... to my surprise the nurse told me i have one mature follicle - 18mm... i was surprise &amp; happy.. seriously i nv thought this will happen to me coz i always got "hang" at this step.. follicles dont grow... actually i can proceed with IUI but husband forgot to took a blood test so IUI cancelled... i was disappointed... Nurse told us to "try" ourself... though was disappointed but i am more happy that i have a mature follicle..

Me &amp; my hubby is working hard these few days ;p.. Nurse ask me to test on 22nd Nov to see if i am pregnant... Well we really hope we can have good news soon...

Guess when you dont really care, it came with a surprise... so i guess have to take it naturally.. keeping thinking no use...

I wonder why ur hubby need to do a blood test be4 proceed w IUI? Coz my case hubby didn't do anything, when I can release the eggs, doc just asked him to extract his sperm and few hrs later IUI was proceeded....
 
Hmm.. Guess govt hospital hv standard procedure.. Blood test like HIV, AIDS n Hep B must be taken before any treatment.. I did not know Tt I will do IUI that fast + hubby is not free to go down... So he drag till the day I went for my scan.. Who knows.. Nurse said Tt I can do IUI on the same day coz they are not open on weekend.... This news really caught us without any guard... Guess is a god will to go natural first... Hopefully god is hearing us.. U also did Ur first IUI right??

I was having the same thinking as you BUT... i guess the quantity &amp; quality will be affected if tooo many times.. hahaha.. we are "doing" everyday but ones a day... It is quite stressful coz you need to capture the "golden period" &amp; when you do you dont know if the semens has flow in anot... coz after doing the semens will tend to lack out some.. is quite annoying to see some lacking... I will start to think did they went in...???!!! Plus when you know you need to do it kinda turn off the mood.. Do for the sake of doing.. hahaha.. like work.. lolx... But we got no choice... Can't complaine.. I told myself god is creating a chance for me.. so better seize it than sorry... Hopefully my egg &amp; his sperm can meet...

Just take it easy and don't stress out urself. Intimacy supposed to be the most enjoyable moment... Whether leak out or not, we just need one troop to meets ur egg, the quantity doesn't really count.
I hope u will enjoy the whole process, that's the most important thing...
I heard from the forum that conceive plus medicine for woman and troops boost for man does help for conceiving. Maybe u can google and search ard.
 
Hi ladies.. Just came in to share some updates cos u girls had been very nice with my enquiries few weeks back..

So.. My first so-iui is a success! Tested positive on 15dpo and waiting for my appt back at KK this Friday

It is indeed very happy for me and dear hubby cos on Day10 of cycle.. First ultrasound showed that i have 4 follies but my lining is too thin at 5. Doc mentioned low chances of implantation and recommend us to consider stopping cycle. But DH and myself decided to press on with the hope that thin lining but 4 follies... Our chances will be even out like others.

Clomid 5 days, 50units puregon 5 days and then IUI.

There is indeed hope ladies! Baby dust to all!

And hope Friday appt and everything on will be smooth.. Coincidentally this Friday is our 3rd wedding anniversary! This will be the best gift to us

For me,
5dpo - sore breasts and nipples
6dpo - yellowish creamy discharge
7dpo - as above
8dpo - pulling pain behind belly button lasted about 15secs
9dpo - tested negative, nipples getting more sore
10dpo - suddenly nipples not swollen as much, still yellow cm
11dpo - heavy cramping on left side, can't walk too long
12dpo - can't sleep at night.. Remained awake til 3am!
13dpo - tested negative again, felt constipated
14dpo - tested negative, had diarrhea thought AF coming
15dpo - super duper faint line on Clearblue! Almost puke right away when I tried to eat yam rice. Pulling pain again behind belly button.
16dpo - line getting darker on watsons test kit. Can't sleep til 3am again n auto wake up at 7am

17dpo - no more yellow cm, line darker again on watsons kit. Repeated above sleep pattern til today..

I am not sure if it helps but I started eating fish oil, and grounded ginseng from eu yan seng the month before I started iui.. This is the only diff in lifestyle i changed before iui. Thought of doing acupuncture too but decided not to do too many things in case not successful will be very sad..

But rmbr different ppl got different symptoms.. So keep staying positive! Awaiting more good news
