House Movers to Recommend?

Just had 2 moves done by Vanpac, their quotes were bout 15% cheaper than the other international movers, and they were the only ones available during our move dates.

Had a 3 bedroom condo that we were moving from to another one in Upper East Coast. They planned and took 2 days, but overall we thought the crew could have been faster.
However to be fair to them, they wrapped everything even for the local move, unlike some of the other movers whom were literally are just transporters/movers whom pick-and-go.
Which gave us more assurance for our possessions. But it felt like they wasted a lot of wrapping materials protecting our items.
But can't complain there!

We had another small shipment that is heading to Surrey, UK for our son.
They spent more time packing and wrapping up that shipment, and it all looks good on the day.

We have paid upfront for both moves which i wasn't comfortable, but so far all seems in order.
Fingers crossed for the UK shipment!

I wish to share my moving experience about Yong Shen best mover.
I was recommended by my Cousin he told me Yong Shen did the moving for his company, their movers are very experience and professional. They completed the 4 truck move in about 5hrs. The supervisors is very friendly and the movers is very cooperative when they move whatever his boss told them. My Cousin also told me the company were invited to the channel 8 program. But I also saw some bad comment about the company and after discussing with my husband, we like to give a try to their moving service.

On the moving day, they come with 2 truck and 6 movers as like my Cousin say they were very fast. The movers wraps everything at the trolley and start to load up to the truck, before going to my new house they told us to see the truck it is completely fully load. The supervisor explains they base on truck load, so it is important to show customers the truck is it fully load to prevent misunderstanding.
After finish the move the supervisor told us to write a comment to get the promo discount. I am very happy with their moving services that I have paid $800 for the move and I have no regrets using them thanks to Yong Shen best movers recommend

Avoid LCH Logistics. I made a poor selection of this logistics provider believing they are professional and ended with my Simmons King-sized storage bed and Simmons Mattress which cost me $5000 being damaged. I believed the salesperson who assured me that they provide good quality of care than average service providers. Told the handlers to be careful with the expensive items during the house move on 18 Aug 2017 but it ended with open mouth deep cuts to mattress and several tears to bed frame. Company was at first in denial and later agreed to only compensate $100 for bad damage done. If you are in my shoes, will you accept $100 for the damage to your good bed set? Company was fast in responding to sale call but turned out to be very unresponsive when damage occurred. Company refused to respond or receive my calls when I told them I will provide a review on them online. I totally do not recommend the use of this logistics provider. If you want a peace of mind during your house move, save yourself the headache and look for a more reliable logistics provider than this one. It was the biggest mistake on my part. I just called the company again and the lady suggested that people with expensive beds should engaged specialist to move their beds. Unbelievable!

I didn't know any moving company. First, you collect all local moving company list and get quotes from them. Each company has a different pricing strategy. Best on the price and their responsiveness, you come to know about the Moving company. If you want to store your belongings for a long time, try to know about their storage system. First, find the reviews about the company and choose your Relocation Company.

If anyone is considering Allied Pickfords for your upcoming move, I would like to share my disappointing and frustrating experience.

We moved in July 2017 from Singapore to USA.

- SLOPPY. Improper packing and unpacking of furniture and delicate objects. They ended up broken.

- RECKLESS. Damage to property because they tried to push the whole baby cot out of the room instead of disassembling it. That is just one example.

- UNPROFESSIONAL. The computer desk literally fell apart when we tried to shift it. There were also two huge tears on either side of our bed base. There was no doubt it was caused by the box cutter when they were unwrapping.

- NEGLIGENT. Left out the bicycles which we removed from the bicycle racks and specifically handed over to the team.

- POOR INTERNAL COMMUNICATION . Destination team was no informed of assembly required for certain items. More delay and frustration trying to chase and have them come again to fix them.

- NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. No updates, follow-up or any communication. We had to follow up or else nothing was done.

I would not recommend their service at all.

My move consisted of an international move, a small local move, and a small disposal.

Moved my remaining items to my in-law place ( 1 dininig set + 1 mattress).
And disposed of a 3 shelves and a wine chiller.
