Hi mommies
I’m having hyperthyroidism and am 36 years old. I just found out I’m pregnant, really excited.
I would like to ask for your help to recommend me a gynae who is indeed kind, caring and attentive. If yourself or anyone you know of has thyroid problem and have good experience with a gynae, please..I request your advice cos I’m really lost where to start.

TIA !

It’s totally understandable to feel overwhelmed, especially with hyperthyroidism in the mix. My wife had a great experience with Dr Law – he was very kind, patient, and attentive throughout. While we didn’t deal with thyroid issues specifically, he was very thorough, so might be worth checking if he's experienced with high-risk cases too. Wishing you a smooth and healthy journey

Hi, not sure if you're still looking but my sis has hyperthyroidism and she successfully delivered naturally in Aug2025. She delivered with Dr Claudine Tan, her clinic is at Serangoon Central. Note that she only delivers at TMC, and her consults are short but not unfriendly. (means short waiting times). She will be to the point if there are things to look out for but otherwise better for you to prepare questions beforehand. Skills wise she is good, v professional as well.

I also have a thyroid condition and was really anxious when I got pregnant. I decided to see Dr Regina from GynaeMD Clementi, and she’s been great. She's very patient and clear in her explanations, and she really takes the time to go through how the thyroid can affect pregnancy. She’s gentle but thorough, and I’ve felt very well cared for under her. Would definitely recommend her if you want someone calm and reassuring to guide you through.

I felt exactly the same when I found out I was pregnant while managing my thyroid, and it’s such a lot to take in at first. It really helped me to find someone patient and thorough who understood the extra monitoring I needed. I’ve had a good experience with Dr Chen at Healthcare for Women if you’re still looking for a recommendation.
