For little one’s veggies are like little monsters, but you as a parent know that vegetables are important for your children and do what it takes to feed them veggies. A healthy diet consists a lot of vegetables because they are high content of vitamins, fibres and antioxidants in them. So here are some tips that you can use to encourage your little one to eat veggies.

Be an Example: It is important for your kids to see you eat vegetables. They learn a lot from your behavior and also try to copy it. Mealtime is a good time to teach them about healthy eating and encourage them to eat vegetables.

Keep trying vegetables: It is normal that the kids don’t like a vegetable the first time they try it. But It is important that you keep offering them to him at mealtime in maybe different textures. You never know your child just might change his opinion about vegetables. Some children take time to get acquainted with the taste of veggies.

Praise and cheer : when ever you kid tries or eats a vegetable praise them, this will encouraging and they are likely to eat vegetables again. However, don’t let praise become the only reason for them eating vegetables. Our goal here is to push them towards vegetables and healthy eating.

Veggies can be munchies: Kids love munchies and snacks so, try and offer vegetables as snacks. Some carrots, cucumbers are great healthy snacks the baby can enjoy. Also this will teach encourage them to go for healthy snacks rather than snacks which have high contents of salt and sugar.

Veggies with fruits: Combinations of fruits and veggies in purees is a great way to encourage your child to eat more veggies. There are various brands who have some amazing flavours these purees are nutritious as well as tasty for the baby.
 
Little things matter a lot like encouraging your child to eat veggies, cheering and praising them on eating it, introducing vegetables to them in form of snacks. Organic baby foods can also help like purees and porridges of different combination of fruits and vegetables.
