Yes, if its really Ectopic , it means baby implanted outside of uterus, and the pregnancy cannot be save,
Your HCG level got doubled every 2 days? HCG level 700 cannot see through via vaginal scan yet, at least 1500 than able to see the sac.

dr from kkh ask me go back every 7 days instead. I cant really count how much it increases every 2 days. But im afraid tmr go back won't see the sac.

Had a emergency op ytd as it burst. Lucky nothing happen. It was in the right tube. Just got discharged today..

Anyway, don't be too upset ok, have faith and try again when u recover. You will know when your body is ready. :) suggest u to take tcm to nourish your body first :)

Saw from other thread saying that this tcm is good but I never tried before.

Hi mummies can anybody advise me which doc to see for suspected ectopic? My Hcg level was 118 on 26 Oct and 2 Nov was 191. DR say most prob its ectopic pregnancy and wants me to do surgery today to see. My transcan cant see anything. I not sure why is she rushing and thinking of having 2nd opinion. What u all think?

The reason why she is so rushing because ectopic pregnancy can be very life threatening and worse can cause u to lose a side of tube.

Your hcg level is low and possible to resolve by jab

For a normal pregnancy, hcg level should rise by double every 2 days, if you want, perhaps u should wait until it rises to 1500 (able to detect via scan) to determine if it's ectopic or not. There is also another suggestion for u.

Dear @celestaseah , I am so sorry to hear about your recent ectopic. I feel for you because I myself went through a laparoscopy in Oct to remove my right tube and fetus. Tube had ruptured, I was alone at home and fainted when I got to hospital. It was the scariest experience of my life.

Now, after a month, my HCG has dropped from 7000 (on op day) to 100+ in a week, and then down to 55 before coming back up to the 120-130 level this week. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this after an ectopic? It is exactly one month after my operation, and I feel ok - no bleeding or cramps etc. Period also has not come.

I live in Indonesia and am hoping to go to Singapore next week for a second opinion (my doctor here in Indonesia suggests taking a Methotrexate jab to get my HCG down to zero but I am not sure about it, as I already had to go through a surgery and would prefer for the HCG to drop by itself. I have been recommended Dr WK Tan at Thomson - but I would much prefer getting a recommendation from someone who has been treated for ectopic pregnancy in Singapore so that I know the doctor has experience in this. Anyone has a recommendation?

Anyone with experience in this, is it possible for the HCG to drop to zero after it has seemingly plateaued?

This is such a depressing situation - my first pregnancy after 3 rounds of IVF and now all I can think about is to get my HCG back down to zero!

Please advise...Thank you so much!

I'm in my 4th week (also about a mth) after my ectopic surgery. My hcg level went back to normal (i.e not pregnant) already.

You may want to get a second opinion at kkh or other gynae clinics on your case. I do understand that getting hcg level back to normal is like closing this unpleasant episode of your life. All the best to you.

Btw, my period has yet to resume too, I heard its between 4 and 6 weeks.
