Hello!
My wife (18 weeks pregnant) went for our 2nd trimester sizing scan at KKH and the doctor highlighted to us that they noticed a brightness in the echogenic bowel and gave it a grade 2. It's a soft marker for genetic problems/cystic fibrosis to name a few.
It could also be the outcome of our bub swallowing a bit of blood. However they assured us not to worry as we've done the genetic testing and we were on the low risk of having any genetic problems with our bub. They've asked us to go there again in 2 weeks for another US as they advice that our bub will be more developed by then and the issue might be resolved. Anyone in here went through something similar?
