Can I check for those of you whom have done lap surgery with Dr Loh? Is it very painful after it and how much is it?

Yes can claim insurance. Not very painful just first two days have to be careful with wound. I recover very quickly.

If he suggest you need to do lap then go for it. He won't suggest surgery unnecessarily.

Yes can claim insurance. Not very painful just first two days have to be careful with wound. I recover very quickly and dr Loh skill is good. Cut is neat n small.

Did insurance agent explained why cannot claim? I have friends doing lap and all of them can claim full amount. Which insurance company are you with? It's a big sum of money if cannot claim.

I didn't have problems claiming it for my lap surgery last Sept. Mine was for hospitalization expenses.. so I paid 3k and the rest was covered. My lap surgery was due to period pains.. so maybe u can try this reason instead?

U must check what did dr write on the initial form. Cos what you say must tally with what he wrote.

I called hot line. They say reason that I can't claim is because of fertility issue. So they say maybe hospital submit some reports that is link to fertility issue. I am still waiting for them to give me a written email so that I can inform my agent.

Personally, I am okay with Dr Loh. Had been with him for about a year plus. The only thing is that he can't solve my issue of why I can get pregnant easily, but cannot stay pregnant. So every time my husband and I go back to him after our failed pregnancy, my husband will ask him how. And I think he is at his wit's end already, so he will just tell us to go for surrogacy in India, Thailand or Vietnam. He even suggested us to go overseas for third or fourth generation IVF.

After my latest miscarriage, he gave up all hopes and finally referred me to see Dr Mahesh in his private suite.

As for Dr Loh, I think it's good that he referred you to another specialist who might be able to follow up and help you further. I am sure he has exhausted the options to help.

I previously saw a specialist who didn't put me through the proper tests as she was not an expert in that area and I feel indirectly resulted in my loss. was a very painful experience and I wished she had referred me to an expert instead.

If you have not tried TCM, I really feel you can consider. But do see Dr Mahesh as Dr Loh had suggested, to find out the problem. Only by knowing the problem, we can have a solution to it.

Checking at my medical records, the consultation charges for dr loh at tcm fertility clinic is $100. However, that was a few months back at least. And I am not sure if there is any increments recently.

Maybe when you call the clinic to book for an appointment, you can call the nurse, and they should be able to tell you.

Well, Dr Loh is actually a man of a few words. If he sees that on the day of consultation you are relaxed, he may crack some jokes with you. Otherwise, just a man of not many words. Before I lose my pregnancy in mid-June this year, I had to go TMC 24 hours emergency in the middle of the night, after 1 a.m. as I was suffering from vaginal bleeding, but since I am seeing Dr Loh next day for scan, he did not want to come in that night, just told nurse to give me jab. My mom was not very happy with that. I personally would prefer him to go to the TMC emergency to give me some assurance as well, but understand that he is a very busy doctor, so no comments.......

I think he does deliver in TMC. Any other hospital, I am not sure, though.

About his prenatal package, I think it only starts after the first trimester. As I never make it pass the first trimester, so I never buy so cannot help you in that area. Sorry.

Hi, I first visited him at Fertility centre and then switch to see him at his O&G Specialist clinic at TMC. Subsequent follow up consultation is $90 on weekday, $100 on Sat. Good luck to you

Hi, I believe both terms are the same. Endometriosis is the condition, endometriotic = endometriotic ovarian cyst. I was also diagnosed with this kind of cyst last year. If you are ttc, he will strongly advise you to remove. Wish you good luck.

Eh his scan picture are not as clear as other clinic but that's not important to me. Baby wellbeing is more important and I trust dr Loh with baby. His charges for scan are way cheaper than other private clinic.

I just went for consultation last Friday

My total bill is abt $620 which includes consultation + scan + blood test...

The blood test to be taken during the 2nd or 3rd day of your next period

BTW, I went to his o&g clinic

Hi, subsequent consultation fees are $100 with $15 facility fees.
Vaginal ultrasound was $100. Tummy one wasn't charged for my 1st visit. Maybe it was included in the $150 consultation or $15 facility fees.
Blood tests and sperm analysis charges differs. So far, it was between $35 to $95.
All charges not including gst yet.

Yes, please do so. I needed my latest immunology report from him after I had a blighted ovum (empty sac) in August last year, as he has transferred me to Dr Choolani, due to recurrent miscarriage history.

In fact, I sent him 4 e-mails in 2 days, before he replied me.

Sorry I cannot help you much, as I have not consulted Dr Loh since after end of June this year. As for the most updated charges, someone in here should be able to advise you further.

As far as I know, I think the consultation charges in his TMC the O& G clinic is about $90 per consultation.

Another clinic that he got in Thomson Fertility Centre, in Novena, is slightly more expensive. I think it is at least $100 per consultation.

So far I find the waiting time at o&g is whole lot better than his the other clinic except once, one of his staff quite blur and i end up waiting pretty long, otherwise the waiting time was quite fast. For example, my appt is at 2.30pm, but I always already waiting at the clinic around 1.30pm...hahaha, and there was once I left the clinic at 2pm or 2.15pm. Good to go early even if it's not your appt time, cos if you go at the said time, you might have to wait for a while. Consultation with Dr Loh I felt wasn't rushed, but just felt we're the only couple who stay in his room less than 10mins, probably because we aren't sure what to ask that's why we always keep it short & sweet...hahaha, if you've plenty of qns, just bombard him. I'm sure he won't chase you out of the room.

Sorry, think I missed out about your last qns, actually I did thought of changing to a govt hospital but because you have to start all over again with the new doc providing all your medical history etc, and also I'm delivering next month that's why we decided to stick with him, not that he isn't good, just that we find a little troublesome to change doc so last minute.

Thanks ! When I was with dr Loh I think each consultation lasted 5 mins! Hahaha like you not sure what to ask.... I am only 6 weeks pregnant so still very undecided on the gynae .

Hi, I just delivered my baby boy under Dr loh yesterday. Like you, I was thinking of switching gynae, due to reasons like his busy schedule and long waiting time.. sometimes when I have queries / wanna walk in due to pregnancy complications, i find it hard to get to him unless I'm willing to wait.

Having said that, hubby n i chose not change gynae as we feel very assured with him. I had a couple of pregnancy complications along the way, and he helped to resolve every complication & issue I had with regards to this pregnancy.

Eg: he found out that i may have thalassemia minor (which i did test positive for) just by looking at my blood cells report. Other doctors may have overlooked this & ruled me as low anemic and might prescribe me with medication that i do not need. (Which happened a couple of times b4 i was diagnoised) Knowing i was anxious abt the thalassemia results for both hubby abd myself, he requested for the blood test report and sent us an email close to 10pm the day after the blood test. We felt really grateful for that.

So we stayed on with him. Thanks to him, my baby boy was born healthy & strong yesterday.

Just my thoughts on Dr Loh.
