Hi Mummies,

Anyone currently seeing Dr. Phua Soo Mear (Kovan), and can share the package price and content?

Tried calling to check but clinic assistant mention gotta go for 1st consultation and they will explain in details. Only shared that package starts from week 16.

Would appreciate if anyone could share the package with Dr. Phua.

Am looking for a pro-natural gynae who delivers in Mt. Alvernia.

Also, anyone has any idea whether it is possible to skip both the OSCAR and detailed scans? Thinking of skipping ultrasound unless is mandatory as well.

I am currently with Dr Phau Soo Mear. Have seen him since the beginning of pregnancy. Before 16 weeks, you've need to pay for each consultation session about $100 (consultation + scan + supplments/medications) but frm 16 weeks onwards, then package starts. Package consists of consultation, scans, ht + wt, bp, urine test, exclude supplements and medications. I paid $550 for the package. Was told I need to bring this receipt to the hospital when I am going to deliver. For the oscar scan at 12 weeks and detailed scan at 20 weeks, I paid about $450+ and is done at Thosom Medical. I personally feel that is good to go for the scans as they do a thorogh check on the baby and the report will be send back to Dr Phua and he will review it with you. You will also need to take a blood test.

Is Dr. Phua very pro-natural, or does he just respect your decision whether to go natural?

Will you be delivering at TMC or Mt. Alvernia? Mind sharing the doctor fee Dr. Phua will charge for delivery as well?
