This is an excellent devotional for small children! It teaches important life lessons and deep spiritual truths in a very effective way. Very often I'll read the devotion for the day and think to myself, "So THAT'S how to explain that!" It's very easy for children to understand but also solid theologically. I highly recommend it!
This is a pretty good little devotional. The length of the devotion is short enough that it doesn't try my 2 year old's patience. One major plus are the illustrations. They are captivating...in fact when IO was previewing the item on line, it was my son's interest in the picture that finalized my decision to buy this devotional.
This is perfect for my 3 year old son and the stories are very easy for him to relate to. He especially loves the pictures. I like that I am able to spoon feed him scripture verses and discuss the theme of each daily devotion in a simple way. Last week I caught him sitting on the floor pretending to read the devotional to 2 of his stuffed animals. He was telling them how God made trees and rainbows etc. That really impressed in my mind that he is actually listening.
Gift for 2 yr. old. Easy to understand, short devotions, colorful pictures. She will enjoy this.
