Cannot get along with MIL

My MIL just moved in with my family. I have been having troubles getting along with her. She picks on the food I buy and criticises but never herself or the things she do.

Example: Bananas that u bought cause ur hubby to have sore throat. Your PIZZA cause ur hubby to have sore throat.

but never her daily dose of chilli lunches and dinners she cooks.

And she scolds the helper all the time, i told her not to, but she doesnt listen. I mean she is not their employer, who does she think she is in my house...

How can I cope with this...????? I am going crazy soon!

hi, how are you now? I can totally empathise with you. the things MIL does are always good and correct, whatever we do is bad. like we want to harm our own husband or kids. i think this thread is more active about inlaws/mil stories. can join in here

elyseq, started a war with her just..scolded her and told her my true feelings that i am totally unhappy with her moving in...wracking havoc and scolding the maid all the time. She said she will move out..which I am glad to hear...now..lets see if action speaks louder than words if she would really move. I will join in that thread...thanks for sharing...(not easy living with them..they always feel they r right )
