Bunions!!! Surgery?

So many years of wearing tight heels for the sake of beauty have finally given me bunions on both feet. I thought that changing footwear would remove them, but no improvement. I consulted with Dr Lim Lian Arn (he's our dad's arthritis ortho) and he mentioned that the best way to remove bunions is through surgery.

Thoughts? Should I go for the surgery or not? I really want my bunions removed but surgery sounds scary.

Yup, if you really want to get rid of bunions, surgery is best and quickest. Try Dr Sean Ng from Ardmore Orthopaedic. I know he offers laparoscopic bunion surgery so less pain.

Agree with luiwei545, surgery is the quicker and more permanent way to do it. I don't think bunions go away on their own hahaha anyhow yes, I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr Sean Ng, but for arthritis treatment for my father. He's really nice, you should check him out :D

I've had bunion surgery with Dr Sean Ng and I agree with the above comments. He's great, very skilled and experienced in the procedure as he's done it for many years. My recovery went normally too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing an orthopaedic surgeon.

This thread is such a lifesaver. I was feeling so lost about my bunions and didn’t know where to turn. Now I’ve decided to go with Dr Sean Ng at Cove Orthopaedic Clinic. Feeling relieved already, thank you all for sharing your experiences!
