ANY MALAY MUMS HERE?

Actually my hubby only wants another 1 when my DD is 12 yrs old. By then, my DD should have enough of our attention & love. For me 1 is enough. Don't enjoy being preggy. Swollen every parts and all...

But tup-tup 3yrs too early. ... hehehee

ur baby dah 6.1kg.

Si mat kat rumah tu in January pegi check up for 6 mths baru 7.1kg .... he's not a good eater too. very choosy. those jarred baby food like pears, peaches.. dia tak suke. his favorite is green beans. my mom say if eat that satu kali jalan makan satu botol....he is also eating biscuits now..dia makan biskot, dia punye pram and baju and muke pun makan sekali.

Hi ladies

Need advise on what to feed baby who is already on solids? Any ideas/recipes or cereals (brand) that is good that you all can share? I'm running out of idea to feed my 7mths old son.... Currently prepare porridge before I leave for work in the morning then the maid will feed him twice with the porridge of either chicken or beef with 1 veg - 1st @ ard 9, 2nd round ard 1. In the evening when I come back, I'll cook another round of porridge mixed with either silverfish/spinach or just with avocado. Feel so pity every meals he only eats porridge. No variety. ... care to add more variety to his diet ...

Wahhh rancaknya this thread..baru berapa hari tak log in..so many posts..ok whr shld i start??

Ok Kak Boo
Not sure if I hv answered your Q ke tak..rasanya mcm belom..so abt whr I sent Sharf for enrichments kan..I tak hantar dia mana except for Shichida program jer..I feel at this moment it is efficient la for a 32mths boy, other than that he attends playgroup daily for one and half hrs. Most prob nxt yr baru get him to nurseryla.

Mu
Lama tak nmpk.Hws Adam? Hope he's ok now..kalau tak kesian you all 2 beranak..tak tidor mlm.. Anyways, if you read the above post for Kak Boo, my Ds is in playgroup jer now. Nxt yr baru I enrolled him to a proper school for his Nursery.

RMS
The only thing I enjoy being preggy would be the movement of the baby in me..That's all!! The swollen, the excess that I put on..NOT AT ALL!! The thought of getting preggie once again tak terlintas langsung tau..Hubby pun not ready to go thru fatherhood all over again esp when we get to sleep the whole nite now without having to take turns getting up to feed Ds(tapi selalunya I la yg kena bangun pasal BF,unless use the EBM). And Ds is independant enough to sleep in his own room now.

Sharena
May I know hw did you get the grp B strep (bacteria)and ape u rasa..sakit ke,gatal ke,excuse me for being blunt eh..Just wondering la..I'm very curious with all these bacteria and germs la..some pple yg kenal me think I'm neurotic and paranoid person..reasons being I never leave home without sanitizer for myself and ds.

panjang lebar eh I ni..hehe ini maknanya I pon enjoy chatting here..and this thread keeps me coming back tau..eventho kalau log in sekejap pon mesti nak jenguk this page..

RMS
I think what you are feeding him now is alright. Baby at this age can only eat porridge so by adding fish, chicken, meat and vegetables is sufficient.
To add variety maybe what you can do is to give him mashed patato add a lil bit of butter. Or instead of making everything into a porridge, why not cook the rice separately(nasi lembik) then the sayur/daging/ayam/ikan masak soup ke atau lauk kicap..

Hope this helps..

shermin

actually i got yeast infection then my gynae took a swab and sent for test then tulah dpt grp B strep. dia kata can cause by many factors... public toilet, stress, spouse, etc... only during pregnancy is dangerous to baby but kalau tk preggie, it's harmless.

Eh, the sichida prog bagus tak? better than kumon? How much do you hv to pay?

Btw kan semua,
do u give ur baby farley biscuit mixed with formula? my MIL suggested giving to my dd at 4 mths which is next wk...

Shermin
baby 7 mths boleh makan sop n lauk kicap ke?

RMS
you so rajin masak porridge. memang la aku ni mak tak gune, tak pernah la terlintas nak masak porridge. Just buy those food in jars.

Sharena
When my boboi umur 4mths i dah start kasi dia makan those jarred food. I thot the farley biscuit is for 6 mths onwards. Anyway give my son dia tak suke pulak biscuit farley n milk.

nora
lambat gini pun masih online?

I ni ambik kesempatan since my dd, Farah dah tidur and hubby with her in the room

Oh u kasi dia yg Heinz punya eh? Best tu, i pun suka! haha

shermin

I did give my son baby potatoes or sweet potatoes with spinach & baby carrots (steamed & mashed) when he was 4mths... Yah lar can baby eat soup & lauk kicap, hmmmmm? Was also told by paed not to give butter to baby under 1yr. No spices for them also like salt or msg.. normally get my DH or DD to taste the porridge. They said it tasteless but DS finishes his portion ....

nora
I also hopeless in the kitchen but try to give my baby homemade food as much as posssible. Every weekend make effort to wash white rice, soak 4 hours brown rice & millet. Dried them and after they are dried, baked them in the oven before grinding them. Smell so fresh and nice. Then weekdays I either mix white & brown rice or white rice & millet to make porridge. For teething rusk, I cut bread into finger size and bake them & give it to my DS to gigit-gigit...

watie
ya miss your emoticons laa...

Very envy you all can stay up so late eh... me & family by 9pm daa light out.. kids sleep - parents also sekaki...

RMS,

Wow, i really salute you the way you prepare food for your son. Kuasanya you wash, soaked the brown rice.

When my son start solids, for breakfast I'll give him the nestle brown rice with scraped banana/other fruits. Then for lunch/dinner, we'll cook porridge for him. How we cook it, we will first cook the porridge, then add broccolli/spinach and then add meat (chicken/fish/beef). We will then blend the mixture, very fine when he just started solids and more course when he's older.Actually, if you have no time, you can prepare the porridge for 2 or 3 days feeding proportions, and then keep it in the fridge for storage. Just scoop what you need for each feeding.

Now he will eat whatever we eat. But for the past few days, he is still recovering from fever and cough so no appetite.

I would like to recommend the "water pillow" for babies who are having fever. My son refuses to put the Kodomo cool patch and refuse sponging, so I make him lie on the water/cooling pillow, and it works! It doesn't make his skin feel so hot.

Wah. I am lost already. So many posts.
I fed my first son only when he turned six mths. And I intend to do the same for my 2nd.

Mula-mula I kasi Frisocream then upgrade to porridge. I buy the jarred food (usually yg fruits and custard) for his so-called desserts.

Sally, kalau u bukak yahoogroup, I'm interested to join too.

Sally,

I also support the yahoogroups mainly so that we can upload pictures of our darlings or anything that we want to sell.

Lani,

I'm also not sure where to have his party. Thought of having a chalet but most of the chalets are fully booked due to the school hols. I think I have to keep it short but sweet so that it won't be so overwhelming for him. Will prob have it at our relatives condo where the kids can enjoy the baby pool and then they can have some snacks and his Barney cake!! But my guest list have to be small then.

If any moms are looking for islam-based religious songs in english for your kids, there is this cd done by Yusuf Islam. I bought it from a shop beside hjh maimunah's restaurant at geylang. Cost 12 bucks. Very basic priciples and yet entertaining.

I'm on child sick leave today so the frequent postings : )

mademoiselle,
I pun beli cd yusuf islam. my son suker sekali.
bila dia dengar, nanti dia tepuk tepuk tangan! (actually, semua lagu dia tepuk! har har!)
My son turning one this month, but we decide to forgo the bdae party, pasal banyak sangat internal problems....so we decide to fly to krabi on his birthday week...celebrate pat saner lagi senang..just the 3 of us...hee hee!!!!

Hi mummies!

pasal makan ni... my dd nxt wk 4 mths old so boleh kasi porridge ke? Like too early lah... Anw, will get the jarred food for dessert.. how often eh boleh kasi?

Betty,
mana u beli frisocream? I looked for it jugak but tak nampak pun kat NTUC... is that only for 6mths above?

LAST Weekend to go before i start work!! ARGGHHHH...

shermin, i'm okie la cume malam je tak tido. si Adam ie pagi2 bute bgn ard 3 4 am then nangis2. Entah ape dia nak pon tak tau. So end up me and hb having sleepless nite. For me, okie la but hb yg kesian cos dia kene keje then not enuf sleep. Pasal ntah dia bgn pagi, sejak dia sakit last Sun smp skrg. Penat!

RmS, u le steam brokoli, carrot, potato, sweet potato then kasi dia. Kalo potato le mixed dgn cheese. Dulu Adam at one point suke kalo i grill ikan dgn cheese kasi dia. Skrg bau ikan pon dia tak nk. hahaha... Then for bfast, i ingat i ada steam egg dgn formula. Tp egg yolk je. (or isit white?) Poor memory!!
happy.gif
Then i ada jgk boil formula then koyak2kan roti. so its soft when eaten. Yoghurt pon okie utk bfast.

Sharena, crtain NTUC ade jual Frisocream. Kalo takde maybe u cn chk out kedai singseh jgk.

My elder son pun suka lagu 'My Mother' by Yusuf Islam. Siap dgn goyang goyang kepala.

Zu, hopefully your son gets well soon.

Sharena, dulu I selalu beli kat NTUC but kadang mmg out of stock. You can try Sheng Siong also. I think it's for 6 mths and above. Lupa lah dah lama tak beli.

Wahhh
When I see how u mamma took the effort to prepare meals for the dearest child, makes me feel like im hopeless..During that time..Sharf tak suka makan sgt..he started solid food at 4 mths, twice a day..eat heinz ke gerber or the nestum yg kat dlm tin. Itupun tak berapa suka, tapi kalau susu No 1!! Sampai sekarang minum susu jer 1 minggu sampai 2 tin habis tau!!

RMS, tht time, my DS tak suka porridge sgt so I cooked nasi lembik then mix with soup. Thts what his paed suggested since dia tak suka porridge. So when i tried he seemed to enjoy it then I stick la masak kan dia nasi lembik with steamed fish ke,vege anytg la asal kan lembik. But of cuz certain food need to be mashed.
I guess you prepared better than I did la..

Sharena
So far I believe in Shichida. Kumon,Im not sure. They both have different approach. Shichida is more on right brain training whereas Kumon trains the child's consistency.Kumon does worksheets every lesson and each worksheets just gets harder each time they do it. Each set of worksheets has a specific standard completion time . Not a place for DS yet as he is so active, I wonder if he's able to sit and do each worksheet without moving around.. nanti ada kena halau!!!

bettybad, dia da okie cume tak tau la sal dia bangun nangis2. celik mata mintak susu, da buat, le cakap hot! da tu nak me yg buat. bapak dia buat dia tak nk minom. mcm sengaja testing our patience! hahaha...

org atas dgn bawah pon kesian jgk. mesti takle tido. cos bile dia start music lame ru abis. pening man!!!!

zu, dugaan!

Btw, thanks to all mummies for the tips on what to feed. Boleh I try with my 2nd son nanti bila dia turn 6 mths.

mademoiselle
no need to salute me... my DS belum tahu rasa lagi that's why hopeless cook like me nyer cooking also he sapu...
zu
I've given my son what you've suggested also. Steamed/Grated/Sieved broccoli, red spinach, kailan, chye sim, caulifower, zucchini & pumpkin. Pureed peach, pear, apple, banana ... Can't remember what else I daa sumbat dia... It's egg yolk b4 reach 1yr old. Cheese & Yogurt haven't try on him yet will try. Yar I really hate it when baby is sick. They really test our patience.. cubaan.. When my DS kena tegur last mth .. wah liao leh topsy turvy me & hubby plus DD .. can't sleep the whole nite. So afraid he got fits jer for crying non-stop. My neighbours must be cussing me. Very early in the morng went to masjid to get water ... baru la he stops crying... got an earful from my mum for bringing him out to dunno where...
shermin
I also baru got licence to cook.... hehehee... so don't think the food I prepared for DS is better than what you imagine... only homemade jer.. nice or not nice my DS belum tahu complain lagi... Mon-Fri tingkat dinner courtesy of my sis ...

eh i pon sick leave today, batuk dari before cny sampai sekarang, dah pegi doktor ubat da habis masih batuk.

yesterday tak bawak laptop balik so kene pakai desktop yg giler giler kat rumah

actually i takde lesen masak... lupe nak register

RMS

u pukul 9 da tido, eh eh u bole mimpi lame lame la eh.

I will only hit the bed at 11, before i sleep usually i check my mails or chat with my sis bec she works in Qatar..Ahlan Wahsahlan

Hi Shermin,
Heard that Sichida is good. So have you been actively engaging with your child at home? The lessons must cost you loads, right? But if it's really good, then it's all worth every single cent.

Anyway, would like to know if there are mums here who would like to get Al-Iman's uniform (for girls)? I have a set to give away. It's a small size. Used to be my daughter's when she was about 3. Vary new cos only attended the playgroup about 3X (once a week session) and then felt that it's unsuitable for her..so stopped.

Kak boo n Sharena
Shichida is worth it if mummies rajin with the home practise. Attending just once a wk class of cuz wont be sufficient to see the results. Although searching and making the materials for the home practise is time consuming but I feel so content each time DS enjoys all the materials I've made.
Sharena, in Shichida, children started with a deep breathing exercise after which they move on to activities from Imaginary play, Sensory, flashcards(abt 200-300 pcs each time flashing to them at a fast speed),Linking memory and an exposure to foreign language. All of these we need to do the home practise daily. So can be very draining..I would ran out of ideas!!
Abt the price, a bit uncomfortable la..takut org ingat... But like I said, my ds didnt attend any other enrichments except for the daily playgroup and Shichida so

You may want to check out their website to find out more.

Yup Lani flown to Bangkok be back on 6 March... I'm suppose to pick Xpertise from her this week but tak sempat ....

Hey mummies

My daughter pun asyik sgt drooling lah! Skrg ni suka masukkan tangan dlm mulut. everytime i take out her hand from the mouth, it goes back in again! Penat betul!

Any suggestions?

HARI NI i RAJIN SIKIT, MASAK KARI IKAN, AYAM GORENG AND GORENG KACANG BUNCIS...

(Alamak! Sorry for the caps)

Troublesome jugak masak untuk dua org ni, dahlah tu my hubby bukannya org mkn bnyk! I cannot have any remainders sure end up in the bin punya!

sharena,

you've gone back to work kan? still have time to cook? WOW!

i'm a SAHM (for this year only) and yet still struggling to find time to cook.

as for your daughter yang suka makan tangan dia, i have no solution. i think it's just a phase that kids go through. kalau pakaikan mittens, mittens tu pun dia makan sekali kan?

shermin,

i'm still leisurely shopping for enrichment classes for my 11.5months old daughter. how old before i can put her in shichida?

you know, initially, i dont want to put my daughter in any of these enrichment classes. tapi, i think, orang orang kita kene kiasu sikit dalam bidang pelajaran ni lah. you know what i mean? kalau ada kelebihan, masukkanlah anak anak kita dalam kelas2 camni daripada beli lagi satu bijik gelang kat kedai tingkat dua tepi tangga tu. now i just have to convince my husband that kids do enjoy all these. he always has this fear of hothousing the kids.

zu,

my son pun sama. Open the eyes only, want milk. Even it's 2 am. sometimes can pat him back to sleep but sometimes won't stop crying till we gave him milk.

For moms with teething prob, buy him a few teether and put them in the fridge and let them bite on it often. But my son also grinds his teeth when he's teething. But it was only for a while. Prob it's one of their phases.

Wow, shiok ah, Lani go for hols, shopping paradise lagi.

Little feet,

I brought my son to Krabi when he's 9 months old. He loves the beach there. Excellent choice for a short break. Family friendly. You can stroll down the pavements or the beach with the pram. Good, cheap seafood. There are actually lots of Moslem there. Hope you'll be staying at Ao Nang. And you must go to Railay.

Enjoy la Sunday ni ok...

Monday da kerje..tsk..tsk..tsk

U masak masak ni semue, siapa yg pegi pasar?
U all ni memang la fantastic... i kalau pegi pasar pun sampai carpark aje.

The past two days i sick leave at home betul betul punye makan hati tengok my maid buat kerje.

Betul la my collegue cakap, to keep her sanity, sometimes she close one eye, sometimes she close both eyes...

Hi mummies,
At last dah weekend. I always look forward to weekends. Err..from sat afternoon onwards lah. Pasal sat morning, my spring cleaning day. Everytime weekend come, i selalu cakap nak try buat blog. Tapi tak pernah terjadi.
embarrassed.gif
. Terlampau penat nak think etc. Selalu ended up checking work emails or doing my work stuffs or surfing for news if i managed to get on net. Just wondering, ada mummy-mummy kat sini buat blog?

Hi mummies,
Lupa pula... i dah lama tengah cari this poster. I pernah pergi kat Haji Hashim kedai and they told me nak cari poster ni sekarang susah because dia orang tak buat lagi. I'm looking for those poster yang ada short doa-doa. Macam doa makan, doa tidur etc.. i was intending to hang it in my son's bedroom. If any mummies here know mana i boleh dapat this poster, please....tell me.
710603.gif

ic,

You can try tanjong katong cplx 1st floor beside the Hoe Kee shop, opp First Lady. This shop sells tudung, minyak-minyak. I'm not too sure if they have the different doa poster but I've bought ayat kursi poster from them before. Will check it out the next time I go there.

nora,

apa your maid buat sampai you makan hati.Betul lah it's not easy to get a good maid. I always feel that we have to compromise. Yg pandai masak may not be good in cleaning. Yg pandai jaga kids, may not be good in cooking.

Hi mademoiselle,
Thank you! Yes, please tell me when you check it out there again. I ni jarang pergi around that area kecuali bila nak dekat hari raya to buy baju kurung. Because quite inconvenient for me to go there. I tinggal quite far from there. So, unless i really sure betul-betul nak beli barang and that barang is there. Dah few times i turun joo chiat and converts, tapi tak dapat that poster i want. So i don't want to make another wasted trip.
710817.gif

Oh..mummies, i tak tahu whether i ni kiasu sangat or not. But wondering, ada kelas untuk toddlers (my son now coming to 2 yrs old) for them to belajar ugama. Something like fun learning like they learn kat childcare. Err..my son belum tahu cakap lagi except calling papa, mama, mammmm (to eat).

Hi ic

I ada blog kat friendster... u can email me at [email protected] to be added as my fren

Ada jugak gambar my baby and semua2.. haha

Oh by the way, hari tu I ada come by this forum pasal slimming after caesarian and they mentioned abt this slimming hot gel!! they said it works. Nak jugak try. Anyone heard of it? Ada yg kata they sell it at medical hall... kalau ada u all yg check out, let me know eh...

Nora

actually dah lama i tak masak. baru2 je ni dapur berasap. That day i pergi pasar dgn my dd pakai sarong. Lama2 tak leh handle pasal dia dah lah berat, bwk brg2 pun berat so just bought wat i need for the few days and left. Ingatkan nk bawak stroller tapi mine ni gedabak jugak. My fren bought for me from Australia and brought it back when she came back last Dec. Pasar pun sempit and ramai org so malas nk squeeze thru.. Nak tunggu my hubby boleh cuma i needed the stuff for cooking that day and he was working so terpaksa lah.

When I think abt going to work tmr, rasanya a bit excited to see my students again and my colleagues but i know the load before me will be thrown in my face!!

Dahlah bawak balik diorang punya CA papers for marking last Thurs tapi sampai hari ni pun belum start marking lagi!! HAHAHA

Takpelah, i have the whole week to mark by 14 Mar..

Abt the maid ni, memang susah lah... Real troublesome but I'm feeling the need now. Sometimes boleh gaduh dgn my hb pasal ni! Nantilah, i thot of getting a part-time cleaner. Mahal jugak lah even if it's once a week. U all ada kenal sape2 yg do the job?

Hi Sharena,
Just reading about your intention to get a maid. Actually, before I got one, I was also contemplating on taking up a part time cleaner. However, after working out the budget...it's really costly and we (hubbie and myself) decided that it's indeed cost saving to get a maid instead. Although I must admit that we did sacrifice some of the privacy that we did have before. Sigh...But I guess it's a necessity more than anything else. Actually, I took quite a while before deciding but it was at the request of my mum..to help her look after my girl (then...) I can't say to that, can I?

Which school are you teaching? How old are your kids now?

happy.gif

hey Boo

I'm teaching in the west and I've got a 4 mth old (on 7 mar) baby...

Hmm.. actually i wouldn't mind if the maid stays over at my in-law's to help her rather than at my own but cannot ask the maid to help with my housework too kan? Like once a week ke? Heard it's against the law.

Anyway, tengok lah sampai bila boleh tahan..sigh

It's 11pm and i need my beauty sleep. Belum gosok baju lagi... big sigh..

IC,

You are not kiasu. Nowadays the kids they learn so fast so it's good to encourage them. But not too sure about ugama classes in your area. Is he attending childcare already?

I know one in the east known as tuffaha but they only accept kids who are 3 years and older.

My son and Lani's girl will be turning 2 also this Mar. Yours?

Sharena,

All the best for the first day! Everybody will be happy to see you again.

Boo is right. getting a part time helper is costly (may cost more than the maid). For me, my maid stays with my mom. She's registered under my mom. So my maid takes care of my son in the day and helps my mom with household chores when she has time. And we'll bring my son home at the end of the day but my maid will stay at my mom's place. I'll do major housework only once a week
kao_blush.gif
and the maid will help me in my household chores only during spring cleaning. Somehow it does work out.

Hi All

Last week 2 days mc, to day go back to work apa lgi.. fight fire la, everything is urgent.

Anyway, off-topic sikit, i have two Malay admin staff who are looking for new employer. Actually they are badly treated by the new office manager (cinone).

One is a receptionist of many years, very pleasant and good command of English.

The other is an admin asst, but she is also good with preparing powerpoint presentation and also dealing with the production of publications.

If you have any contacts ke, or ur office happen to be looking for admin staff, please PM me. Same same tolong menolong.

Mademoiselle

My maid ni.. ade ke dia goreng kan my niece and nephew chicken nugget tapi dalam dia masih mentah. I tanye my niece kenape tak makan, tadi cakap dia nak. Then she say tak sedap, so i took one to try..and what do u know.. masih mentah.. this pple nak buat kerje senagkan diri dia aje. Agakye da selalu la dia buat macam gitu.

And then dia buat kan my niece ribena, instead of mixing syrup with water dia pegi campur air lychee. bec kalau dah dalam plastic jug cant tell the difference agakye. Then i ask her kenape the ribena looks funny, she just walked away. Then i rase la, hai.. i told her, cant u tell its not ribena from the looks of it. She pandai jawab, she said she rushing bec budak budak tu jerit jerit nak ribena... can die la

My new maid shd be coming next week, i hope. Last saturday pun i wen to agency to make noise, kenape my new maid lambat sangat nak sampai. gave me all sort of rubbish la, flood la, takde passport..but the reason i picked that maid was bec she already have passport.. i was fuming

Then si maid kat rumah ni memang la gatal sangat. my mother say around 11 in the morning, dia mesti tersidai kat dapur punye tingkap bec it faces a bus stop and at that time ade a couple of filipino guys waiting for their transport. I know they were filipinos bec they were shouting to her, si maid ni Indon tapi tersenggih senggih and lamabai lambai kat dorang. when i caught her last friday, saje aje muke dia. I pun da malas nak cakap just cant wait to send her back to agency. sampai grass cutter kat luar pun dia nak berbual...

nora
I've to turn in early coz got to get up by 5am to siap pi kerja & cook porridge for my son.

Sharena
my son nyer masukkan tangan dlm mulut nyer syndrome daa over. Now his grinding his teeth which I was told it will blow away also later stage...

some ppl did do calculations and told me that it will be cheaper to hire part-time cleaner for just $10/hr just to clean, iron, wash toilet etc ... no need to worry abt losing your privacy, medical, food, etc cost but I still go for maid out of necessities just like boo case....

Thank god my maid nih got intiative & not si beh lembab .... so far my baby in gd hand with and the best part is ... my baby not attach to her still prefer me .. yipee

Sharena,
So how was your first day at work? Ada feeling macam nak lari balik aje tak? Especially kalau you tampal gambar anak you kat work desk..mesti nak balik punye... Anyway..CONGRATS! You've made it through your first day....Look on the bright side of things. The weekend is almost coming and then it's HOLS for you, right?

RMS:
Initial I was unhappy that my maid does things for my girl (then only had 1). Thought my girl would end up choosing her over me. Alhamdulillah, she's closer to us still. Me very possessive. Will do whatever it is for kids whenever I can. Mandi lah... and what nots cos I still believe that they are my kids after all. Cannot seem to understand how some mums can allow bb to be carried by maid and then she lenggang just pushing stroller or even worse, carrying bagfuls of stuff from NTUC....I'd rather my maid carry those for me while I carry my kid. What do you guys think?

Anyway, if you mums out there know anyone who might need Al-Iman kindergarten uniform (for girls)..do let me know. For about 3-4 yr-olds...

boo
I'm very possessive too when comes to my kids.. tu yg buat hubby fed-up some time...hehehee.. I still rush back to cook porridge for my son, bathe him and YES I agree with you that they are my kids & responsibility after all.. and I'm glad I make the effort coz my kids are close to me. I 100% agree with you & also don't understand some mummies yg really lepas tangan their kids to their maid. If I'm at home, I rather let my son sit on his exersaucer/high chair while I do my things than seeing him being carried by my maid or attended by her. I make sure either my doter or hubby attend to him. My hubby said I under-utilised her... to me she's there to see-see look-look my kids when I'm at work & clean my hse.. PERIOD
I still do my own washing of dishes, laundry - she only helps to either put them in dryer or hang/fold/iron them.

I get the SATISFACTION doing things my way/style - right or wrong IT GOTTA BE MY WAY ....
that is why I've to get up early to see to the co-ordination of clothings for son, doter & hubby, my son got b'fast & lunch before going off to work

Assalamualaikum all mummies,

Dah lama I MIA. Busy since the birth of my 4th child plus recently, my PILs came for a visit. Nearly 2 yrs have not seen them all.

Now my baby girl, also Saarah, is already 6mths so its getting easier. Only thing now is my twins going thru the 'Terrible 2s' & boy, its so dahsyat! Sometimes, so memalukan esp when they throw tantrum in public. My hb gets so annoyed.

Anyways, I will try to read up prev postings to catch up. Seems like a lot. Baca sampai pening!
happy.gif
Also seems like quite a number of new faces here...WELCOME.

Insyallah, I will try to come in here more often. Hope all mummies here are well.
