1. she explain that our mindset very impt. it does affect how the birth experience will be. so before hand, nak kena 'brainwash' sendiri by repeating to self daily affirmations yg can do it. why it is impt - coz if we takut, body pun tense up so it cant do its job. instead of relax, it start the Flight or Fight reflex to keep baby inside,beranak susah. we actually have a cd to listen to which have those kinda of affirmations and believes.
we watched lots of birth videos. wah those mum make it look easy. tak pekik tak apa. yes more brainwashing for us that birth is managable and not superpainful, and not need drugs
not that wont feel the pain. but prob pain lesser and can take it coz not tense and accept that it has a purpose.
it help my classmates.I am amazed one of them said contractions was 'uncomfortable' tapi tak sakit. until only last part, she said 'really uncomfortable'. by then, baru she know dah time baby nak keluar.

c. ways for us to sit and posture jadi lesser pain eg. like hug those big exercise ball, hubby duduk then mum put her head and upperbody at his lap, hubby urut back. it gave some practical ideas for hubby how to help mum.cool!
3.different types of breathing, one used for pushing baby out.suruh practise waktu buang air besar

said to be easier and less tearing insya allah. its diff from what taught at hospital.
4. body positions are impt.
-waktu pregnant/birth suruh try check position baby kat mana. if u have doula , she try to make u do postions to shift baby. coz if baby tak betul position nanti susah keluar.this one link she gave

6.odd tips I remember
a)dun scrunch up ur face, loosen ur mouth when in pain. somehow ada connection - bila muka/mulut relax buka, bawa tu pun relax.
b) kalau nak buat noise, dun pekik high pitch. make low pitch. it affects coz low pitch focus energy to down there. high pitch the energy go out ur mouth.
do try borrowing the book from library. Hypnobirthing by Marie Mongan. I got that bk and some other notes from class. breathing methods in e bk. only certain hospital allow doula. from what I know -Thomson, Mt Alvernia, Mt E ok. also not all hospital allow u to move ard, or give birth in diff positions.
