i pon notice during weekends many adults (not those student type) dok kat mac d reading newspaper and surf net. Takde rumah agakye, or maybe save electricity at home. And they occupy the place like they own it seh.

u can try to drink milk esp Annum for breastfeeding mums or oatmeals, used to eat tat alot during confinement. ergh.. at same time, continue breastfeed in the day if can, not only at nite. for me, the milk helps n i will breastfeed more times in the day esp on weekends. my breastpumps become obslete already. ahah now Ayuni has milk rashes again! n its curing.. bingit!
i think Sri's contractions are not strong enuff to make her dilate.

have ur friend tried the other two fertility methods before trying IVF? one is fertility pills, the other forgot what. but read in the news that IVF success rate is quite high. n govt want to increase funding so its cheaper. but i think no yet la. IVF cost in sg not tat cheap compared to other country with low birth rate, taiwan 1 of them. Newspaper featured 1 malay lady who went for IVF, she was already abt 40plus n can't conceive for quite long.

anyone bought LG playmat before? is it worth to buy since its soo pricy.... tot of getting the cheapest one. its ok for Ayuni to play on the laminate floor without any mat but its her toys hitting on the floor tat will disturb my nieghbour.

Doc said I dilate for 1cm but tk nk discharge i cz some patient frm 1cm tiba2 on few hrs or nxt day will dilate 5cm or more.. But some didnt like me.. hehehe
So tadi i force him to discharge me.. boring siak kat hosp... told him, if for 3 days i only dilate for 1cm, wat makes u tink i'll dilate more in few days times?!?! ha.. in my discharge nye comments, i saw he wrote "patient keen to go home." whahahahahhaha.... Watever doc...
Btw mummies, sakit eh bila doc cucuk his/her fingers thru our vagina.. i kena abused 3 times!! LOLX!

plus that is not inclusive of the time u have to do pap smear after u have given birth.

I tried using those ABC mats, much cheaper and cover the top with carpet so nicer feel. but when she starts to eat by herself and drop food all over the floor , carpet cannot ah. I am using the foam one now, its similar to LG except the padding is foam and texture different. its cheaper at $80. Gd nuff altho my cat sometimes scratch. I curious how LG one is. coz that time got BP - it was selling for $100. normal price is $150. so i think wait for BP

btw last time i pon under doc aziz tau.. but at 23 wks i was spotting at 1am in the morning.. i already made pre-admission and deposited 1k at raffles, abeh doc aziz advice me to pegi KK.. more cost affective & facility there better.. last2 daripada labour ward raffles, i naik taxi pegi KK.. was in labour from monday 1am to wednesday 4+pm then beranak normal to a preemie.. 23wks gestation weighing 630g.. now he still kat KK lah.. dah nak dekat 4bulan..
he's doing great 2.470kg but lungs still kinda chronic.. mummies, pls doakan baby izz cepat discharge & sehat k..
Last2 pon bukan doc aziz yg beranak kan i.. i was handled by the "high risk pregnancy" team from KK.
i'm new here too.. (new kids on the block)...

wah!! your preemie is a survivor!! at 23 weeks gestation only?? WOWWW!! daec and i are also moms of preemies. mine is a 34-weeker but she wasnt growing well in my womb so when she came out, she was only 1.136kg. i was also handled by the high-risk team.
yeah, it's best to go to kk when you have complications. i downgraded to C-class so my bill was manageable after my daughter's 1.5-month stay in the hospital. i hope you downgraded too cos your baby's case requires longer care and more specialised so your bill will be really high.

yeah my boy is a fighter.. he survived all the needles.. and he also underwent a PDA LIGATION (a surgery to close up the heart vessel) .. and also sikit hari dia punya lungs ada air.. and they tebok his lungs to drain out the air..sedih.. but i promise i never want to cry in front of him,, coz he's fighting.. i shld'nt crying.. babies feel it when we're down.. i terpaksa ceria bunga kan diri i ... sing for him.. bacakan dia apa2 yg patot..traumatised tau pasal time tu ada 2 babies passed away tau..plak tu i rapat giler with the 2 mummies.. feel for them.. so alhamdulillah.. i'm proud of him..

wahhh 16weeks maternity leave sehhh..andai kata aku berkerja alangkah happy tapi aku tak kerja....hehehehe...but i wished they would do sumthing abt the childcare fees for middle income earners...mahal sangat lah nak bayar...nak kerja tapi bila tengok the fees for childcare...terbeliak mata ku!!!

Menangis i tgk gambar baby Izz... I nie weak in the heart. ALLAH swt memang tahu you nie hati tabah, ujian tu diberi kpd you. Kalau i, i'm sure i tak tahu how to cope emotionally. I nie very soft-hearted. Tgk orang susah ker, tgk binatang mati kena dera ker, tgk citer sedih kat TV ker... semua i nangis.. sigh.
My husband always laugh at me.. hehehe. I will doakan Izz sembuh cepat2. You have to be strong for your family and Izz tau.

I hv to agree with Sri. Kalau doc lelaki.. alahai, dgn lemah lembut.. Kalau doc pompan, main rodok ajer...This is based on the fact that the women doc tends to be rough as they themselves dah pernah beranak.

dun put our hopes up too high for mr wong eh.... but childcare subsidy tu memang abt time la they increase it, kalau da 2 ke 3 kepala memang perit kan.
kite sekarang nak ambik 3 mths mat leave dah terkial kial... 4 mths... boss cakap tak payah datang balik office sudah..

Danryan, entah eh.. doc sendiri pun tk tau kenapa my contractions abit strg eventhough i 36wks plus and only dilate for 1cm.. dia kata bb ku active sgt... hopefully keluar jgn la active...my niece is hyperactive..if dua2 active leh pengsan aku....

baru kat sini.. all along cuma baca je thread.. very interested in the topics.. I sekarang carrying my 3rd baby, dah 21 weeks.. My 1st baby preemie jugak.. but at 36 weeks.. kena stay kat kkh for 2 weeks.. hari hari stress cos 1st babykan..
always tanya diri i apa salah i buat sampai dugaan macam ni kat baby i.. sedih gila that time but i become stronger emotionally after that.. I rasa labour kat kkh sakit hati jugak.. nurses dia treat us mums dgn kasar.. Maybe pasal i under subsidised tak.. That was in 1999..
My 2nd son i deliver kat SGH in 2003.. Best service.. Maklumlah lepas bersalin, kita mummies kan nak tender loving care sikit dari nurses dgn docs dia.. I dapat rest after bersalin.. Alhamdulillah semua normal delivery w/o epi..
Cuma my 3rd time macam ada phobia sikit..
Tengah emotional ride agaknya kan..

Congrats for yr 3rd bb...anyway the gap quite far eh abt 5 to 6yrs wif the #2....

when my bb marsyha was 14days old she was admitted at kk coz ada chic pox...lagi haru bila the docs and the nurse tried to poke her veins on both tiny hands....dah satu hand tak leh they tried another hand...end up bila i masuk the rm kat kaki pulak they poke....dah i tengah on confinement lagi dat time....cried sorang2 kat ward....luckily we both je in the 1 bedded rm....
but seram jugak coz only both of us in the rm for 5 days......bila kul 12midnite i tukar fr RIA to WARNA.....
