ANY MALAY MUMS HERE?

i dun mind org makan in front of me.. but i segan to eat/drink openly. i guess i am still old school la...

as it is now we always have problem to arrange for office makan makan, bec some of our muslim staff are quite chin cai (u know what i mean).. so some pple will ask why so and so can eat at that place and you cant.. diff to explain la bec u dun want si so and so to look bad kan...so it becomes very easy for pple to marginalised the situation...

wahhh..ada jugak topic eh, pasal buka aper lahh...pasal posa waktu ngandung n now pasal tak posa n eat in public eh...?

hmmm, nora...my views dulu kan lain skit...pasal dulu rebel, hahaha....tak posa main makan jerr kat public, step nak cakap" aku posa tak posa aku nya hal..., orang nak sibuk apahal?!".....ish teruk kan, but ever since marriage kan, i learnt a lot on respecting others lahh....dah tobat, bila outside i tak makan/minum, kat umah jerrr masuk bilik..(segan ngan anak/hubby, but masa work dulu i makan kat pantry, colleague melayu satu jerr n we talked b4hand dat if we tak posa, we hope dat each other dun mind eating in the pantry...the other races plak, kita sendiri yg ajar pasal Off days bila tak bleh posa...ye lah, pasal dat time i werk retail, abt 11hrs, takkan tak makan...hehe

then again it all depends on our working place n conditon....pasal orang yg makan kat luar tu i tak bleh comment banyak, blum tobat cam i agaknya..hehehe sori joking jerr ehhh...
but ard my home here banyak jugak pakcik2 n abang2 yg muka tebal dok kedai kopi makan/minum...ada pulak yg bukak botol...my girl ada tanya i pasal ni....tergamam i buatnya~

Ya cakap pasal makan in public kan, i tak boleh makan even if i'm at home.. macam funny and feel very bersalah and berdosa gitu..

my hubby kata i tak betul..he even allocate me one corner at the end of my dapur for me to makan bila i tak puasa..

I rasa ni masing masing punya cara to deal bila tak puasa whether in public ke kat rumah eh..but kita yang puasa ni, I rasa pun tak leh pandang serong sangat kat orang yang makan in public..

Talkin pasal orang yang bukak botol tu tak nak cakap banyaklah...haiz...nanti makin bertambah dosa... astaghfirullah....
 
for me dulu mmg ah me pun malu nak makan openly if tak posa... bt alhamdulilah kakak pat sini yg dah lama they said most of them mmg practice cam tu n they r ok with it, e rest of the colgls pun tau cara kita cana.. so oklah bt not outside ah.. setakat at office buat air pat pantry n duduk in my room diam2 je or pat umah je, bt not outside, bt if i mabuk outside jus pop gula2 je sentiasa stdby coz me ni cepat mabuk n pitam2... so wen this strike ill get cold sweat batuk profusely n can even jus jatuh so i have to take care gak..
tp so far alhamdulilah lah.. cuma i cant pandang ni computer too long or jus sit tak buat apa2 hehe ah start ah dia dtg..

dulu time ngandung both my kids pun kena bulan posa, konon nak puasa penuh ah bt tgh hari je start dianya mual n mabuk.. so have to batalkan takut me terjatuh or faint as last office me byk kena turun naik tangga..

so i tink its up to individual ah.. n how time flyies kan, its 2wks already??
 
haiya.... kalau nak kata org 'ngap' kat kedai kopi tu biasalah. . kadang2 tu, lynda tgk boleh 'open table n open botol' lagi. . kalau yg muda tu boleh paham jugak lah. yelah darah muda... kadang2, umur mereka2 tu mengalahkan mak bapak kita..ish3. my anak ask kenapa mereka tak posa sedangkan ibu yang ada baby kat perot boleh puasa? my anak boleh ckp terang2 plak tu kat depan mereka.. alahai malunye...yg mereka2 ni pun bila dah dengar bukannye nak belah ke tapi buat muka seposen n continue togok...sigh...

mcm nora, i pun ada sikit old skool lah..malu nak makan depan org, lagi2 depan my hubby and mil. kah3. . my hubby suka usik, "eeeee...makan seh...tak posa seh..." lagi malu I jadi nye.

Sharizah, u pun cuba posa masa u ngandung? alhamdulilah. it all depends on individual's body. kalau u boleh tahan alhamdullilah. kalau tak boleh, tak mengapa. .yg penting ada niat..hee3

yah i tahu orang kita selalu buat kat rumah. buat marhaban sekali dah tu makan-makan. cuma, sekarang i nampak trend orang buat kat masjid. oh.. Darul Ghufran yang kat tampines eh?

Yesterday went jb to get my baju raya and also look see look see at angasana. Looking mainly for kuih bangkit gula melaka cos it's moi's favourite. All the stalls look the same, so just try buying one from one stall.

What a dissapointment.. not nice. Anybody know of anywhere to get nice kuih bangkit??

Dah tu, on the way back, my tyre pancit. Dah nak rush back for buka but end up changing tyre at some ulu block at Woodlands. Lucky my younger bro with us, kalau tidak boleh pengsan trying to loosen the screws. What an experience!! : )
 
duh ciannya mademoiselle.. hehe kalau bulan posa ku tak sanggup nak masuk JB siang noh.. terasa amat kepenatannya nanti.. hehe prefer to go in late ard 4pm dah tu leh buka sekali there even though if jam pung.. this wkd insyallah gg coz nak amik baju i yg tersadai pat kedai tu hehe

i dunno which stall, but i'll ask him on thur when he comes over. i know they always buy 1 particular brand of kueh. they also only buy this brand for me, and the kuehs are quite nice. i think the brand starts with "SH...." i can't remember the rest of the name. wait thur i ask him lah!

hai mummies...sekarang i tengah mengidam nak makan rojak mamak. hai..cakap pasal kuih, kalau hari raya, tak boleh lepas mesti ada kuih tart dan kueh makmur. kalau tidak macam tak sah gitu..

for my kuih raya, every yr the same - my mum make kuih lapis, and my aunt make kuih tart & makmur. then my mum will help me buy 2 more kuih from JB (usually i request for biskut cashew nut and kuih suji) and also kerepek ubi. so total 6 different types. cukuplah tu, cause nobody comes to my house (at most maybe cousins, friends & hubby's family), most will go visit my parents instead. anyway most of the kuih tart in my house my hubby yang lantak sampai habis!

RMS act a collg of mine mmg amik order, hers is $2.50 for each cuppies bt too bad she currently tgh stop baking ah coz her hub sakit so tak tau bila she nak amik order lagi.. n $2.50 its not smallnya tau... e size leh tahan ah cam muffins pat delifrance gitu n most of her cuppies dlm ada filling, its not empty.. nanti ku cari her website eh..

abt cuppymomma, mmg hers nampak cam selera gitu tp so kecik n to me very pricey lah.. coz a collg of mine pernah order n to compare 1 of her cuppy is also $2.50 to compare with my collg nya jauh beza noh..

camel warehouse kat defu lane 10, masuk ajer it's on the right...sure nampak nyer....went there last saturday..potato chips blak pepper ngan chilli all sold out...buah asam pun sold out nie...they say will top up on sunday..any way they close at 5pm....

Went to Angsana last Saturday to grab some kuih... There's 1 shop something NAHAR.. kuih dia taste nice .. my daughter siang-siang daa ngap... think by the time raya swing by .. daa takder kuih daa...

but sueh-sueh kan only when we reached home then we realised someone tried to steal our car spoiler... coz 1 part of it was dangling when we opened the boot

kreperk pedas- 10 pkts(1 pkt, 1kg)for $30.
potato chips(blk pepper, chilli, tomato, bbq) 1 box of 8 pkts for $22.
normal kacang like broad bean, mixed beans n those normal kacang- 1kg $4
expensive kacang like pistachio and cashew nuts - 1kg $18.
uncook ayam kepak - $7 not sure 1 kg ke 2kg...
hotdog- 2pkts $2.....etc......

those normal crackers 500g $2...i think quite cheap cos slalu 3 for $10.

mcm kedai runcit pulak aku nie.....

Nora : I punye tailor kat angsana also @ lagenda.. I suka jahitannya and price pun oklah, not too expensive... but this year takde hantar baju pun cos takde time and further more baru lepas hari je dah puasa..bila yang baju nak siap??

Oh ya and camel warehouse ni really berbaloi kalau u umies got lotsa stuff to buy or to share with siblings and all the in laws..

This year I tak sempat nak buat kuih tart.. juz buat biskut suji and biskut choc chips yang dah terlebih tepung... aduhhhh!!!! lempar kat my girl, i think boleh benjol kepala dia ...kekekeeke

Try to cope ngan baby 2 months old and atoddler and nak kemas and nak buat kuih...haiz... macam superwoman tapi tak menjadi... penat seh...
 
I only bought accessories kat lagenda.... coz dunno whether how their workmanship & sometimes nih this jb tailor if you tak biasa ngan diorang & knowing we from S'pore they tend to jack up their price laa... normally I sent to 1 tailor behind pacific mall previously they kat Kotaraya but shifted there abit out of the way but jahitan wonderful.... all my raya clothing creations... menjadi... heheheee

this yr don't know how my baju raya goin to turn out yg I sent to a tailor kat Tg Katong... crossing my finger that it turns alrite... if not tak berbaloi bayar sampai more than 180 bucks...

I went to the Camel warehouse yesterday, and also hangkut a lot of stuff although not much stuff left. When I went yesterday, the nuts, krepek pedas, lots of different kinds of muruku are still there. But no more chips. Next year must go earlier : )
