styli, speaking of raya. We have all our stuff ready. Everything for the house, baju (except for the boys' kurung), cookies..all bought and ordered. Tomorrow thought of going to Geylang early to look for their baju kurung. Prefer to duduk rumah during Ramadan.

this yr i dun think i will go to angsana to buy kuih and baju raye. bec i pun got nothing to take from my tailor there. so will buy boy and hb baju from geylang la. if i hv to get things from geylang during ramadhan i will go on weekend morning like elevn. that time pegi nak beli carpet abg jual carpet pun baru bangun tido....

kuih pulak my auty cakap kat jb sekarng mahal mahal pasal raw material all naik harga.. so beli sikit sikit kat sini aje sudah lah... tapi i dah lame tak beli kuih kat S'pore.

Me dah survey kuih lapis nice my MIL bought from JB, called Sarawak kuih lapis. Not sure of the location tho...coz JB pun ade jakun sikit. But the kuih very nice tasting n nice looking as well

Hi all..

I gt mild contractions.. mcm merlion seh i.. muntah2.. wek.... buay tahan sakit dia sampai tangkap pinggang.. after tt i dh start menggatal.. i tgk umah i satu rumah beserak seh.... So i did some cleaning.. on Fri nite cuma mampu kemas bilik &amp; living rm incld vacuum &amp; mopping..

Sat morning i cant slp due to pain &amp; i keep thinking of my dirty kitchen.. my mum buat kuih but tk kemas dapur lak.. ada bdk kecik lagi yg tangan mcm KETAM!! ha... So i slept for 2hrs only.. do hsework ard 6am... glad the kitchen is done... dh mop pun.. Yipee!! dh cuci baju, sarung bantal &amp; cadar too...

And nw.... argh!! I'm left wit toilet, lipat baju &amp; to clean the fans... mcm tk larat seh.... Tell u ar, masa buat hsework, i nearly nervous breakdwn.. &amp; yes, i did.. hahaha.. tiba2 nangis sikit... in my mind, why shld I clean up their mess??? aku ni p/t maid ke????? mana nk jaga anak lagi yg baik sgt tu.... den anak lagi satu kat dlm perut buat hal... sis lak dh dye baju wit black dye &amp; nvr clean the toilet tiles.. habis satu toilet lantai warna hitam2... fed up kan?!?! cobaan i la dpt siblings mcm ni...preg pun syik KO jer... baru anak pertama tau.. haiz....Bsk jer la i do my remainder hse chores...

sorry..juz release some tension.... Btw slamat berpuasa...

uloqmann, doc cuma kasi i painkiller for fever/ pain.. tu pun for my back ache jer..but ok la..after took tt pill i'll feel drowsy so tk focus sgt on the contractions..hehehe... lamba la i nk dilate despite having contractions.. ada discharge bit by bit...

sri, i'm surprised you still havent given birth!! forget about the housework. go and rest. and yes, kadang2, kalau tinggal serumah dengan orang lain (even your own siblings), memang boleh jadi sakit hati because everyone has different standards of cleanliness. what's most impt is you just take care of your own room. tak payah risau2 kan tempat lain.

smalldreams, thanks. we found out that kat ttsh, ada tempat sembahyang on the third floor. it's a very open area, though.

zu, i know aida!! she was my classmate from p1-p4 ke p5. when she was in p3/4, rambut dia terbakar sikit during a science experiment, kan??? what's she doing now?
 
by the way, can all of you share what you cook for sahur?

i'm such a lousy cook. for buka, i order from hajah maimunah. but for sahur, i'm cooking myself. i only have a sahur menu ready up til tomorrow morning only. after that, i tak tahu apa nak masak. so, can you all share *simple* dishes that you prepare for sahur? thanks!!
 
Naddy, let me share one simple recipe that I can think of now.
Telur goreng with kentang and kacang panjang.
2 telur
1 biji kentang sedang, potong dadu.
Beberapa batang kacang panjang, potong kecil kecil.
1 biji bawang besar di hiris.
3 atau 4 ulas bawang putih hiris.
Goreng kentang yg you dah potong dadu dan you put aside.
Tumis bawang besar dan bawang putih dan kacang panjang dan masukkan kentang. Kacau telur dengan garam dan lada putih dan goreng dengan bahan yang you tumis tadi. lepas tu you boleh lah makan dengan nasi. Sedap kalau lagi panas panas!
 
By the way.. I nak take kesempatan ini mengucapkan Selamat Berpuasa kepada all mummies here. We in morocco puasa besok. Tuesday.

pasal sahur-
i slalu masak yg senang2.. mcm telor goreng. fried veg, veg yg masak sop like kobis, spinach.. sardin, can also try goreng daging or sliced fish in ginger and spring onion.

Sri, dah 38++ weeks can give birth anytime. I delivered my 1st boy at 38wks &amp; 2 days. Don't overexert yourself. Try to relax. Jangan fikir banyak-banyak. Take care ok and may you have a smooth delivery. InsyaAllah.

Ima, beli siang-siang pasal malas lah nak gi Geylang time Ramadhan ni. Ramai orang. I don't like crowded places.
