If i am not wrong, you just need to go chinatown one of the shop name"Golden Dragon". Once you buy the thread, they will teach u. The teachers are very friendly and nice.

U can check with community centres too. www.one.pa.gov.sg search for knitting

Think many of those small shops selling knitting stuff will also coaching as long as you buy the products from them, and they have magazines for you to choose designs. There is one also at the Kovan Heartland Mall (the one that is next to Mavis Tuition Centre at Kovan) -- its a small shop on the 2nd floor. I saw many ladies and aunties sitting down knitting and crocheting while waiting for their kids and grandkids at tuition

i have 1 knitting needles and some rings letting go $10 inclusive normal postage... no time to knit anymore.
