Hi kwp,

Yes, you should really try the restorative yoga that I mentioned. I have already went for 3 times this week. Found that it relaxes my mind and body, reduces my stress level, and also makes me think of life in a more positive way.

Just tested positve. Had mc in June and was surprised to see BFP again. Just went to see the Gynea. A different Gynea this round. Because it's only 4w6d, only a small sac can be seen. I have no symtoms at all. No sore boobs no back ache. I wished I have these symptoms to tell me that I'm still pregnant. Due to age, at 44, Gynea says it's possible that the eggs may be unhealthy and may not grow after week 6, which is what happened to me in June. I now have to worry for another 2 weeks to pass the heartbeat test. Any mothers have the same problem as me? Had miscarriage before and Can concieve again at age 44? All Gynea advised is to take folic acid. Multi vit and calcium and see me in 2 weeks time to hear the good or bad news. Fingers crossed.

yes be positive and please take folic acid .. it is very important during early pregnant ...
 
I had my 2nd mc, twice in a row this year. Fertile enough to concieve naturally at this age, yet cannot pass the week 6 mark. Empty Sac found for both pregnancies. I asked Gynea How to build healthy eggs?? They have no solution for me! Please share with me how to build healthy eggs. I really wanna give another go before I reach the age of 45.

Hi Shuqin, have you tried ivf or see a fertility specialist instead of a gynae ..i know of ivf center who cld perform pre-implantation test on embryo. Remember, it only take one gd egg for things to happen....加油!

I have not gone for any implantation test on embryo yet. Could you share with me or any specialist to recommend me?

Sorry to hear that. You might want to drink the confinement red date tea on a daily basis . My cousin who have irregular menses and light flow drank everyday for about 2-3 mth to prep her body and she is now preggy. Also, you can drink seaweed egg soup with your meals which is fuss free to prepare. Seaweed is said to be good for womb

Been a while since I last sign in to this forum and pleasantly surprised to see this chat grp. I'm 40 this yr and recently juz tested positive on the pregnancy kit. Unplanned pregnancy as I already hv 2 girls - age 12 & 9. Dunno how my body would take it.

Can get pregnant but mc at week 6 for both pregnancies.

Getting distress and hope to hear any Sistas sharing experience here.

Yday I had my blood test and my beta reading was 88, I had spotting and bleeding for 5 days and still bleeding now. My HCG level seem to rise slowly and doc is worried.

Is there anyone who has such experience and carried on to successful pregnancy? It has been a terrible few days for me, I went to my gynae and as he checked me inside, is all blood and he said is not very encouraging sight..

I am scheduled to do blood test again ..to see my HCG levels. Feeling very down now..

Hi Sonique2001,

Really sorry to know of the current pregnancy situation that you are in. Bleeding is not a good sign, especially when the Dr already gave you extra support jab.

I know you cannot stop worrying about it. However, just try to talk to the embies, bed rest a lot and not move and also minimize your walking.

When the Dr saw blood in your scan yesterday, it is not a good sign. Do you mean he can see subchrionic bleed?

It is possible that your embryo is not meant to be and is a chemical pregnancy, or something like that.

Nothing you can do now, except to pray and to think positive. I know it is hard.

Is your bleeding a lot like AF, or?
 
Is it true that older pregnant women may encounter stronger MS? For mommies whom have been preggie younger before and also after-40, any difference?

This is what my gynae shared when I told him I'm feeling lousy everyday with the loss of appetite and nausea. I can hardly eat and whenever I think of what food to eat or the food I have already eaten, I just feel very queasy. I'm below my pre-preg weight now.

How do you ladies cope in the first trime? Hoping to get more tips. Thanks.

i felt lousy and bad Ms for my #2 last year ... but i blame it on gender not age lolz

well i always heard from oldie ... pregnant with gal , ms will be bad whilst boy are more kind to their mom .. and this is the case for both my children..
the 1st is a boy and 2nd is a gal lolz

how do i deal with it .. try to eat .. smaller portion ... and i too lost weight but after 1st trim all weight are regained ...

My MS is slowly tapering off. I hope I'm pure lucky. Or I'm worrying for the unnecessary.
Trying to take small bites throughout the day.

I'm 43, still trying, just hv mc at week 7, at first hv heartbeat at week 6 with weak hb,but stop somehow. Don give up... but sometime really tired to go thru so many stages of stress.

Hi,

Usually something should have happened already if you have taken the pill for 2 days.

However, if your hcg level is still too high, then of course there won't be any bleeding.

Best to check with your gynae. when they are open again tomorrow.

Sorry about your mc. Yes, The stress level is getting higher and higher. Now coming to 45 and still trying. Gone through all the necessary tests and Gynea thinks it's the poor egg quality that cos my mc. Then the TCM sinseh says Its due to my weak uterus. Just need to 'bu' my womb and most importantly don't be stress. But how not to be stress? Hope we both get to see bfp again soon and most importantly be able to carry the pregnancy to full terms. Jia you.

Yes, jia you.... really must hv positive attitude.. phobia to hv pregnant every time, scare thing happen again and again...
