Hello ladies.. Wanna check with u

I used cheapo opk on Monday and got 2 lines.. It's dark but slightly lighter than control line. Then on tues it's gone!! Does it mean I passed the O day?

Do u take bbt? The day u o is usually the day after opk first become positive, but day before bbt rise
 
Very tempting to test clearblue HPT this morning. Shall test in tomorrow. Hope to have BFP.

One question, can one ovulate throughout the cycle. Hmmm... abit weird... I keep having postive OPK. Something must be very wrong with it.

May I know wad symptoms do you have? I m in 2WW now, anxiously waiting for big BFP!
 
bbhopeful, thank you, I hope to have BFP too. Jiayou together. I don't have any symptoms besides gassy, backache and probably headache. My tummy feel abit weird weird at the belly button. Maybe I have tummyache. :p Somehow, I know that it will be a BFN. Don't have the same feeling as the first though every pregnancy is different.

Happy new year ladies! Hope we have BFP for all our HPT soon.

I tested clearblue HPT just now and its a BFN. Mixed feeling as this is my 1st TTC for my 2nd and I managed to conceive my 1st on the second month. My 1st born is coming to 3 years old and am afraid I will have that problem to conceive after a long stop. Maybe I was too anxious to know the results till I dreamt of it. You know dream are the opposite and I got a BFP inside. The moment I woke up I straight away knew it will be a BFN. (I kind of believe my dreams because am a dreamer, I have dreams and nightmare everyday, I dreamt of my 1st born is a boy in the beginning of my 1st trimster, so its the opposite) And I just want a definite answer so I still test it anyway.

Now I have to wait till my AF to arrive and BD more this round.

I drink and smoke... and don't think too much into whether I strike jackpot each mth.. cos I am tired of seeing red and give myself hope. So ladys.. don't worry too much or be too cautious and stop all ur activities which makes ur even more unhappy. . Just do the usual and stay happy. .. with a good mindset brings positivity!

Agree with Shirley. I've been trying to restrict myself for the past 12 months but I see red each month. I have grown to believe that what is mine will be mine. If the time is not ripe, I will just have to wait..just make sure I keep my body healthy during this time...
 
Yeap.. jia you! When the time is right. . Rainbow baby will come.. this is one thing we cannot control. So instead of crying over the horrible red every month which u soon will get sick of it and blame urself what u would have done better before menses come.. tell yourself every month is a chance. Maybe not this month but there is always a next.. and one day.. u will become a mom.. that is how I tell myself too and it did came true.

First bfp I was on holiday and shopping long hours and carried heavy bags and smoked and drink (alcohol and cold coconut few x a day). Came back Sg then found out bfp (surprise). So indeed, just be worry free and don't read too much into the "advice" in the Internet on the dos and donts.

How do I know if I'm ovulating/fertile?
how shld I prep myself to TTC? Am a light smoker hence I guess it will affect my chances of conceiving?
Also, is there anything like vitamins, etc to let my SO take increase sperm count too?

Sorry if thESE ques had been asked prev.

Yes it surely could, ttc77. I have also seen friends who drink a lot and smoke a lot (both men and women) but still popping kids like football team (almost).

Ultimately, I find there are many many things attributing to egg quality. But if one drinks or smokes or drinks caffeine occasionally, don't beat ourselves as many things are still about timing.

Ya..I even have friends who continue to drink after bring preggie!! I think if the embryo is strong,no matter what u do also can get pregnant

I don't experience any pregnancy symptoms like swollen boobs. I also couldn't remember the feeling when AF comes. How to feel or spot the difference between the two. The only time I had some cramps yesterday, CM kind of sticky milk white.

Having sticky milk white CM is a good sign and hope it doesn't dry up at all until the day u test!
 
Just to share.
U can get the clearblue advanced opk from qoo10 for Abt $40-50 for 20 sticks..

I will use both cheap ones (David brand) and CB to Cfm my ovu.

So in a way I don't waste the CB one..

BFP = big fat positive (pregnancy test)
BFN = big fat negative
TTC = trying to concieve
SO = significant other
AF = aunt flow (period)
HPT = home pregnancy test
OPK = ovulation predictor kit
m/c = miscarriage
m/s = morning sickness
DPO = days past ovulation
CD = cycle day
u/s = ultrasound

U can buy ovulating test strip or digital opk to check for ovulating. Some girls monitor their egg white mucus to know their peak fertility period. Smoking is bad for health not just for TTC so U should take this chance to quit smoking. N yes it does affect egg quality. For man can take Q10 and zinc. If u are trying to conceive and no result Pls get your tube check. If your tube is block the sperm can never meet the egg.
 
You guys heard of very faint blue line on clearblue maybe a false positive? I read alot from online forums that people commented that clearblue is not so accurate. I was like to us the most accurate and most expensive brand is clearblue. What else can we pin our hope for if the comments are true.

Am still waiting for my AF to come to start the new cycle again. Usually I am quite on time.

Are u referring to ovu or preg test kit?

Anyway they already started that it's 99% accurate so there's a 1% chance of inaccuracy..

If u want 100% accurate then have to go for the blood test...

i think is not really whether it will affect egg quality...
smoking n drinking by default is not really a healthy lifestyle...haha...
if occasionally shld be fine though....

my partner quit smoking & drinking when we plan to TTC... he said is the best for the family :)
 
Redvel, didn't know you are such a yoga guru! Very inspiring. I started home yoga (simple ones) cos I didnt have the energy to go to any classes. Since last year I felt so much stronger mentally and physically. But now I'm in the middle of ivf cycle so I stopped for a month. Wanting to do some simple exercises but felt better to wait first.

Yoga is really good.

i dun think TTC will mess up AF or cycle unless you are taking some hormones herbs / medicine...

previously i was under TCM so taking the herbs... during these 9 months, my cycle went haywired.. after i stop taking TCM, my cycle stabilized again

Take note that some supplements do mess up ur cycle somewhat. For my own experience, when I started epo it delayed my o by nearly a week. Same when I started royal jelly.

i not sure what is epo.... but royal jelly may cause some hormones effect, i think balancing your hormones or something...
as long as u taking anything that will affects your hormones, it will mess up cycle...

after i stop TCM, i only took prenatal vit which doesnt affect my hormones, so my cycle stabilized...

folic acid is actually vit B... i dun think it will affect hormones... so technically they shouldnt mess up your cycle...
 
Oh well. I shall wait till my AF come and if don't, probably have to spend money on hpt again. I seriously drag myself to the clinic because am afraid of needle.

I have those internet cheapies at home and I already bought 2 rounds of clearblue digital, all shown BFN. Already give up and waiting for AF to come.

Alright! I will test again if my AF never come. Both my MIL & mother scolded me for testing it too early. To me, it's not consider early as am already 2 days late. I can't remember when I started to test and only remember that I got very faint result for normal brand HPT for my first child.

if your AF always very accurate, and 2 days late still never come, i think quite high chance is BFP lei!!!!

Missed menses? Oh no! Please don't give me missed menses. I will be sad. I never miss my menses before other than pregnancy.

Agree w pixie. My cycle was messed up by TCM. Quite sad Cuz the cycle lengthened from 28 to 35 days. I stopped now and just take ba zhen and take fertility blend supplement. Back to normal
