Pooh85: +ve Opk will tell u that u r abt to ovulate. You can also check ur basal temperature. Once it rises (usu 1-2 days after +opk), it meant ovulation over.

Dun b sad, me too! gotten +ve Opk yesterday, but DH on national duty, can only b back home on Thurs, gg missed my fertile days

He's been working very hard for us ttc-ing, especially cos in the beginning, it was cos his sperm qty and quality not gd.. But now has improved with supplements and tcm.. Really appreciate that he takes initiative with the things he has to take and with no complaints.. He says maybe bb wants to come by the expensive way.. Haha..

Just saw tcm earlier.. Said hubby's troops still need improvement and upped his dose.. For my case, he said hormone levels are gd and progesterone is at optimum level so he can't give me too much med, if not will throw it off balance, so got 2 doses again.. Not sure how hopeful i am for this cycle,guess i'll just take it as tiao-ing my body for ivf..

He knows i'm going for ivf cos i did tell him if this cycle fail, i'll start directly on ivf.. He told me if that's the case, wait till embryo transfer then go back and see him..

Btw, the tcm mentioned he will be closed 7-14 feb..

Pooh85>> BD after ovulation will not get you pregnant at all. This is because when the egg was released, no sperm was there to fertilise it.

btw ladies, if we are planning to see a doc to check if we are healthy to have bb, should we go for western or tcm 1st. We had not done any b4 this.

Keke.. Your description so funny.. But hard to tell for the swollen boobs.. Was super swollen this mth till my bra so tight, but still bfn.. My hubby got 3 doses this time.. We arrived at 7 and was 1st in the queue.. After we finished, there were about 10 persons behind..

I guess seeing a western doc or tcm first is personal choice.. Normally, gynaes advise going for a check if not successful after trying for a yr, if above 35, then 6 mths..

Tcm told me to just take the chicken essence twice after ovulation.. But not sure if it's the same for everybody? I think i'll still continue to take the bottled one on alternate days for now.. After ovulation then i boil the home-made one..

then assuming my Luteal phase is 14 days like normal women. (some 14-16 days)
34 - 14 = 20
my Ovulation should roughly be around Day 20 plus minus.... this is what i read from internet.

Hmm i don't think chicken essence will make a difference to cycle.. But think you shld inform tcm abt the changes in ur cycle and ask more abt the bai feng wan.. You are tracking ur ovulation right? Do you ovulate 1-2 days late? If you are, then i guess af will come late too..

What is ur cycle length? Ovulation is different for everybody.. For eg, if mine is 32 days, ovulation will be ard 32 minus 14 days, that is abt day 18.. So we usually start bd-ing from around day 14-15 since spermies can take up to 2-3 days to swim up..

i ovulated late this mth (2 days late). ard 1st Jan. If af dun come by this weekend, hav to ask tcm le. will shun bian ask how come every mth af late by 1-2 days.

Pooh, tk care, drink more fluids... If u r sick, it will affect ovulation... Might not be healthy egg too... Get well first ... Take some vit C as well
