@ttcing May I ask when u r pregnant with ur #1 when are you able to see baby heartbeat and the fetus?
I brought the clearblue digital kit yesterday and it came out pregnant (1-2 weeks) means i conceived approx 1-2 weeks ago baby shld be 3-4 weeks?
So i went to the GP and wanted to take a blood test to confirm but surprisingly the clinic do ultrasound as well. Doctor said, by calculating my period (1st day of last menses is 8 June) it should be 6 weeks.
She did a scan and saw my tilted uterus but could not manage to find any water bag or fetus but saw a cyst.
And she mentioned either I have to wait another 2 weeks if not she suspect it's a ectopic pregnancy. :'(
I don't even want to think about it. I really hope bb is fine and pray hard. But currently doctor is giving me folic acid medicine to eat first.
Snowgirl, dun panic... I hv the same issue... I went kk to scan but couldnt see much... Wait for 2 more weeks for another scan by then can see heartbeat alr... Doc calculate base on last menses by normal 28 days cycle... If u r like me, 33 days cycle, u prob only in ur week 3-4

guardian dono is it $9.90 or $12 (tip is very thin, and i find it a little painful so i got omron one instead) buy @ guardian
omron $23+ or $24+ (this one better as its tip is rectangular type and not so painful) buy @ Watsons or Guardian or Unity - but unity need to pre order

I hope its a definite positive too, don't want to let my hopes too high cos i am having stomach cramps on and off and feels really like menses is coming anytime soon.
Previously I did went for ultrasound scan (cos my menses was flowing non stop for 10 days) and it came back the result as normal. But i read, and realise I have a retroverted uterus and I see on forums the retroverted uterus is difficult to get pregnant and dangerous too if pregnant. Not sure if it's true though as some I saw they said its fine.
I will go and buy a clearblue digital pregnancy kit later and test it again, then I will see whether should I go to the GP. *Pray hard*

I have retroverted uterus too. 2 kids liao. both natural birth. no worries. Just take good care of yourself during your pregnancy

usually by 4 weeks you can see waterbag, it should be a black circle like thing on your ultrasound. 5 weeks see fetal pole and 6 weeks heartbeat, latest by 8 weeks.
Don't stress yourself even though its your first pregnancy. stress also wont help you. If you are really worried, try a different gynae. who are you seeing?

i by wk5 can see the sac. HB is fr 6wks onwards. u can go c gynae for safer mind..

Haha, yeah i think i worried too much.
I am not seeing any Gynae at the moment. Just seeing a normal Doctor at my house downstairs which she do ultrasound too.
What she is asking me to do now is to wait for another 2 more weeks and test myself again and if positive then go back to her again to do another ultrasound.

Still considering if I should go to the Gynae. Hubby said Gynae is much more exp and since the doctor I went have the ultrasound machine so just go back to her in 2 weeks later.

I think gynae better. Gp is not specialised in scanning so in case she see wrongly, may give u unnecessary stress and alarm.

still suggest you go see a gynae soon. monitor yourself for any signs of unusual pain especially in left or right side and spotting. Both pregnancies I also go and see gynae once I test positive. Touch wood but this is to rule out possibility of etopic pregnancy, where the embryo don't implant in the uterus but in the fallopian tube, It can be dangerous if discover late. Its ok to be kiasee, personally I do feel more assured when the waterbag can be seen, so I understand your concerns.

It's best to go to experienced gynae than having gp to scan n advise. Tats my view.. usually by wk6-7 can see hb before that shd b just the sac... but there are cases where till wk 8-9 then see hb...@attigal May I check when did you start seeing bb & heartbeat? To have ur mind more rest assured, best to go to gynae

i agree with attigal. i also see gynae when i tested positive.
He did a v scan to make sure the sac is at the correct place.
so best is still c gynae to make sure all is well. at least u no need to guess ok or nt...

Told me to come back after finishing n told me dun proceed iui or anything first.
Can i check, the med will finish by Sun n as im wking not convenient to see her till Fri evening. is tat ok?

Agree. Fmu is concentrated so line is darker. I read somewhere best to test between 2 to 8 pm

Is ok. Tcm is really a best effort basis. I myself only see her once a mth because I got no time to go more often. In between I plan to drink red date tea to keep my womb warm.

Last year June I discover my first pregnancy after trying for 3mths. So joyous that time. EDD was 14 Feb 2014. Thought that should be the best valentine present for the both of us. Yet I was down with fever and virus attack the foetus hence that make me MC on the 10 weeks of pregnancy. After that we tried again. In nov last year, I took a test on the first day of my missed menses and happy that I got a BFP. However 2 days later when I tested again, I got a BFN. I dunno why the sudden BFN since I tested and confirm that I got a BFP. Then when checked with gyane, she said might be a missed pregnancy.
Yesterday, exactly 1 year after my first MC which is also the 1st day of my missed menses, I tested and got a BFP. But somehow I dunno why I am so worried that the missed pregnancy will happen again. sigh... anyone encounter the same situation of missed pregnancy as me?

I am not sure if she is experience with pregnancy though. But heard from my hubby her clinic is there for like 20-30 years.
She did ultrasound for me twice, once because my bladder was not full so she asked me to drink more water. After that my bladder is full she test again but still can't see anything except a cyst on my ovarian. Does cyst in ovarian will cause false positive on pregnancy test?
Anyway the total bill is only $55 including 2 weeks of folic acid pills. It's very cheap I think.
i had a chemical pregnancy few months back. tested BFP and then BFN, shortly after my AF came. i went to see gynae after my AF and talked to the dr. he said high likely is chemical pregnancy.
don't be worried. must have faith. this pregnancy will be a smooth one for you.
Same here, ttcing. Yesterday was my DPO14. Also tested negative. For the past 3 months, my AF came on DPO15. So I shall wait for today to be over and see how. But like you, i think AF is coming soon.
Anyway, when i tested BFN yesterday, my hubby heaved a sigh of relief, which made me so
. Seems to me he still doesn't want #3 despite willingly BD with me whenever i told him i tested positive on OPK. "Scolded" him for feeling relieved and he just laughed. Sigh.i don't think cyst will cause a false positive. like the other ladies here, i will advise you to see a gynae. sometimes we O late, thus the EDD will shift.
