I had bleeding also, it was at week 5 and gynae gave me a painful injection and on the medicine utrogestan. Now is better, my gynae told me not to see tcm for the first 3mths, but i wanted to visit my tcm doc..

I just decided to change to dr WH Kee from tmc. I had seen him before and he is really good. Dr Han is a good doctor too, but I don't quite like kkh's system.

I'm at 10w3d. Yup I just decided to change to Dr WH Kee from tmc. Like just decided 5 mins ago! Haha

Hi jellyga, I see from the scan pic myself. It is written on it. When I did the scan, the doc didn't tell me the hb rate, only show me the flickering is hb.

Oh I was very hesitant to see tcm also. Cos read online that it is not advisable to take tcm during first trimester. But in the end I give it a try as kkh just gave duphaston, and the problem persists. Later I found out at the clinic that many mummies visit them also in early pregnancy.

Oh is it?? I see my scan pic it didn't show also.

Oic, maybe due to individual body also. I shall wait after my next appt then ask my gynae again.

My experience differ slightly from you. My gynac in KKH (The private Suite) gave me hospitalization leave to rest at home even though i am not hospitalized. Guess it might be that specified gynac practise of not offering hospitalisation leave unless really warded.

Oh maybe gynae will give. I didn't get to see my gynae so I went to the 24hr clinic, maybe they don't practice that there.

Yup, first time I go cannot detect anything yet cause too early so I went back 2 weeks later. Then can detect the flashing which is baby heartbeat.

Sometimes is not baby not healthy but just too early. Doctor never say only..

You can let your new gynae know about your previous case and let him make the decision on what to do. I guess depending on the severity of your previous case, he may want to get the medical records from KKH (not sure whether can be done) or order new tests etc.
 
i had bleeding when i had my #2. was given complete bed rest for the first 3 mths... cos the bleeding comes on and off... so for mummies that experience this, please take extra care... if can, better to minimize movement as much as possible and rest too. :)
 
My 1st appt with my gynae is next Monday and I'm feeling damn nervous. I've been sick for 2 weeks and been putting off to see a normal doctor because I didn't dare to eat medicines unnecessarily. Was hoping my gynae can prescribe me meds instead that are safe for the baby.

I am 7 weeks now. Was informed by the lady when making appt that 7 weeks can hear heartbeat. How long is the first consultation usually? What kinda tests will be run?
 
Hi everyone! Am a little late to the party cos we wanted to make sure we could see the baby's heartbeat before getting too excited.

Im a first time mum with twins at 7weeks4days & my EDD is 22 aug although my gynae says it'll be slightly earlier since its twins. We got a chance to hear our babies' heartbeats at our checkup and it was so surreal...

My first consultation only have the usual routine check up - taking of height, weight, blood pressure by the nurse and scanning from gynae. Very fast like 5-10 mins, that's all!

Yup week 7 should be able to see heartbeat :)

i'm seeing mine next Friday.. cos very hard to fix appt with him...
 
going for my gyane scan in another 1.5hrs... scanning for heart beat today.. so excited yet extremely worried n scared too...
cant wait for e time to come faster...

Haha excited is good but don't be overly worried, will see the heartbeat no worries okay! Give you some courage*

Is there anything we can do to stop feeling so breathless and no-strength when we stand for barely 5-10 mins?

I tried going somewhere nearby to buy some food but always came back feeling so breathless like I just did a 2.4km run.

Any mommies feeling this way too? I'm so helpless to feel so weak ugh!

When I walked up stairs or even walked some distance I can feel myself hoo hoo hoo. Hahha.
Suddenly feel v fat

I just went to 3rd check up (currently at wk 8) since I found myself pregnant...

I got spotting with fresh blood since 3 days ago and dr just diagnosed with slight detachment of water bag with uterus..

She gave me injection immediately + duphaston 3x per day to stabilize pregnancy and one week of hospitalization leave. Baby heartbeat is good at 161

I got so worried as this is my first preganancy and I always thought it is normal to hv spotting o r bleeding. :(

Need your all support as I am clueless now

Beside bedrest, what else can I do or eat to prevent spotting?

My colleague also had bleeding during early pregnancy also because of water bag detachment bit she eventually deliver a healthy baby. So don't worry too much. Try to bed rest as often as possible. Avoid carrying heavy stuff and moving around too much. Eat well and sleep well.

im 7 weeks now and abt 2 days ago i experienced little dark brown spotting with a really small clot, then i monitor and it was cleared thereafter. today i thought since cleared so i skip pantyliner and just now i noticed there were like 2-3 drops of really light brown spotting, this time no clot. i had a d&c done 7 months back so am really paranoid. my last scan was on 31 dec where we saw flickering hb accordingly to doc but cant hear anything yet.

not sure with this i should quickly get gynae to scan me again or prescribe me hormone pills or continue monitoring
 
I think you should go to a gynae tmr. They can scan and see if everything is ok...n prescribe u w hormone pills(some may give u jab also) to stabilise the pregnancy. Do not wait. And at least u have peace of mind.

thanks for the prayers.
Gynae confirmed the twins didn't develope well.
found a fetal pole in the smaller sac but measuring 5w 4d only
the other measuring 8w correctly during the transvirginal scan but is diagnose as blighted ovum.
there's still no heart beat for both so ya...
already MC-ed..

I wish & hope you all mummies-to-be a healthy and smooth pregnancy.

My first 2 also I ate a lot of junk food. Haha... It's like I'm always craving for fries!! And it's always macdonalds fries!

This time round, I'm always craving for soupy stuff. Especially fish soup... But I can't drink my ice lemon tea and teh peng...

Ya man! I kept having nuggets and just ate a filet burger. I think mcdonalds is now my best friend. I don't crave but it seems like I feel okay after eating nuggets or filet.

I can't take any soupy stuff, will feel sick like crazy.

Hahahaha I've been lying around on sofa and bed like so unproductive. Like no pills to give us some energy or kick off this breathlessness?

I'm not tired but just no strength, like no air balloon cannot float like that.

Different gender... Luckily I still can take my chilli if not I think I will feel worst. Duno what to eat..

Macs now have curly fries! So tempting!
