Anyway any 3rd/4th time mummies with plans to do ligation right after birth? Many of my friends did that. But I am not sure if this is a good idea..

i getting my hubby to do the ligation... coz women do = higher chance hormones imbalance... i already had hormones imbalance since the birth of #1... after #2 more erratic ...

he agreed also, but also need see the cost... if men do very expensive maybe might as well i do..

it's more complicated for men to do a vasectomy. and the subsequent few ejaculations can make u pregnant. i think u need to wait a while before the ejaculations are sperm-free

The problem is, my families seems to have more occasion, my rest of my cousin are still very young. Some not married.. And some only given birth to 1. My parent have 5 grand kids in 7years, lol...

my hubby's side has 7 grand kids (6 are within 5yrs)

Maybe do something more personal??? Because like party and giveaway cakes like for everyone. Maybe you should do something for your immediate family only.

Maybe a new born photoshoot.... only the youngest can do that now...

Then number 2, you can do something just with her only, maybe a staycation somewhere, just you and her.

So that if they ever bring up something that the others have and that they don't have then you can say, but you can say, but only you had a new born photoshoot etc etc.

But I can see how the "guilt" can be endless lah...

I thought of the photoshoot.. Then again my HB friend who is a photographer offer to do free shots for us while I'm pregnant..
In exchange, we allow him to use us a his portfolio.. I'm still thinking abt it..
If I do it, most prob will not do a newborn shot..

For #2, I ordered from sweetest moment and they gave us small photo on the cake box.. I keep a few photo of those, and that's the proof at least we do something for her.. We made up this year by having a birthday party for her already.. Hee..

The best is not to do the ligation immediately after the birth cos the clip may slip out more easily. Wait for your tubes to shrink back to it's normal size before u do the ligation.

I'm going to ask my gynae the next visit, cos I'm doing c section, prob do ligation at the same time... Will see what gynae suggest..

Same! It was so much easier to go out back then. I could sit from amk to bukit batok when i went to school everyday. Now we have to beat the crowd and wait for several trains before we can hop into one nicely. I no longer go out during weekends. Either stay home or slack at my mum's or grandma's house. Even during weekdays i will rush home before 5pm!

I'm facing the same issue, for #3, we also have the feeling that we don't want our relatives to "po fei", give gifts and ang pow...
My SIL giving birth in sep, my nephew just celebrate 1 yr birthday in dec. if plus mine, w same group of relative, all sure scare of us...
Mu husband say don't do anything. But how can? So unfair right?
#1- party and buffet
#2- give full month package
#3- do nothing?

The deals are generally cheaper than local retail stores but still cannot fight with US prices lah. If it's cheaper on Amazon and ships direct, you should order from there instead. I will be doing that for the Medela pump coz I highly doubt their deal price will go below $500.

They collect 1 day ahead.. like this customer giving to her staff tomorrow..
Without frosting, can leave it in room temperature. If w frosting, have to keep in fridge.

Eh today I got one question for u mummies again. Any of u ladies expecting boys (or already have boys) plan on circumcision? My hubby is quite insistent but I very heart pain to 割肉 leh.

I asked my HB and he say why need to do.. so my #1 didnt do..

i know ... i also dun like those monster stroller that just pushed in and crashed on your leg during peak hour and din apologised . you have kid i also have but i wont use stroller during peak hour lor...that one stroller space can allow at least 2 adult to get in and reach office on time

But from another POV it is because nobody let the stroller in first.. that's why sometimes have to push in forcefully.. my experience is that able bodied people will just push pass you to go in first.. same with lifts.. those with stroller / handicap always need to wait for the next one..
For me I just feel that not all parents can afford cabs all the time la.. raising a kid already very expensive!

I'm getting some stuffs from my colleagues (hand-me-downs) too. So much money is spent already... Especially when my new flat is also undergoing renovation at the same time!

Outside rainbow cake doesn't taste as good as those home bake ones. A lot nice to see but not nice to eat... The only concern I have is the colouring, too much not good right?
