My #1 no ms at all.. boy.. now my #2.. feeling nausea n no appetite.. total diff with #1.. but we spot a tiny birdie(again!!) on 10weeks6days.

u din apply for the SBI card? i just did my oscar scan today at TMC. + FA package total is $470.65

Only for thomson medical. Can get the form from information counter. $60 for 2 years.
They have FBI = First Born Incentive too. Also $60 for 2 years.

After I read your post, I went to TMC website and found out what it stands for and I applied for the card. :)

Then I realised I may only use the card for the childhood education class (5% discount) and Oscar/Detailed Scan (5% package) and maybe meals at Delifrance - not enough discount to pay back the cost of the card yet.

Hey getaway, i am a feb mtb but just to share, with the FBI u are also entitled to some on your hospital charges (inpatient svcs) so i think it's also still worth it...

Hi, I have looked at the detailed benefits, and it doesn't state that inpatient services are entitled to any discount, you might want to look at the pdf document that comes attached with your welcome email.

Unless there is another document, which I may have missed out... maybe you can direct me accordingly??

Hey do refer to the brochure... it's stated that u have a discount on inpatient O&G. But then again it isn't clear if the discount applies regardless of what room u take. And what exactly are inpatient svcs.... ??

Yeah I saw this too, then when they sent the welcome email after you sign up, there is a detailed list of the % of discount etc, and there is nothing on inpatient services and inpatient O&G. Probably refers to the ultrasound scans and lab tests etc.

Do check your welcome email for the detailed list...

that is why i dun want to join ... my kid's PD is outside clinic so no chance to use theirs...then the family clinic ... i think i go raffles hospital easier at least in terms of parking so again it is out ... if one of the benefit is priority reservation of wards or discount i sure join lolz but then like what gammahedging said ... it is not clear how the discount is apply and what exactly is their inpatient svcs

I just sent an email to them. Let's see what they say!
 
I also noted that they were silent on paeds inpatient svcs while that was mentioned in the brochure.... so i figure it's rly good to clarify. i signed up for it already la tt day..din realise the diff until getaway mentioned. but if rly got disc on room rates then it is worthwhile...

Room rate is the best discount cos that is the most expensive part of the whole pregnancy lolz

my gosh only $100 off total hospital bill sob sob assuming total delivery bill $9K less the gynae around $4K ... so $100 of $5K is only 2% discount :eek:... well at least the $60 is reimbursed in this $100 discount
 
I just dropped them an email to further clarify tho, that the $100 off room rates is diff from in patient svcs under item (B). Rly still am not sure what that inpatient svcs means

cox kkh full apointment that make me unable to see gynae in first two mths. Now, already urdergone the oscar test and scheduled for genetic test. All schedule become very tight.

Okay these are the items I foresee I will use. Savings on hospital bill can cover cost of card. So overall will still have some savings, even like not very much, but better than nothing! Good enough!

@PTB7674, you should check if your doctor is covered in the programme. Maybe you can save some more on professional fees.

When you go for your OSCAR appointment TMC will offer it to you. I didn't sign up for it, but when I made appt for OSCAR, the nurse informed me that there is this pkg at TMC. :)

Btw, since u are Feb MTB, you might want to make appt for OSCAR early if you haven't yet.. if the appt slots are full, you will have to come in v early in the morning and wait "on standby" till available slot. I heard from the nurses that the wait can be very long, so yeah.

My dr is not tham leh .. It is Khi but she din ask Me sign up the card guess she not covered too Lolz
The gynae will give you a form that will state whAt kind of package they want you to sign up for the scan

Hey, i am early feb mtb so i already have the oscar appt on the 25th when i saw dr tham last week...but i was not told abt the oscarpkg??! dunno why the nurse also nb tell me abt dr tham's pkg. dunno is it week 12 then tell me or wad.
