I also think soon I will give up breast feeding. Pumping very time consuming also seriously no joke for twins. Shall see how long I can endure before I lose control. Support is important but have been quarreling with dh few times already. I see his idiotic face I just cannot take it. Abit abit pek chek. Really feel he play a very important role in me giving up being a good mummy. I dare say if I go into depression mode he is to blame. Just hate his face to max now. Don't know how to tell U all. Yes he do take care but if take care till so pek chek I rather don't need his help.

Bud yes me bb shower next sat. Send out invites already next week mon or tue then go order catering. Hope my girls are more settled by then.

Breast feeding is not a easy journey at all family support is very important they always say mummy happy = happy bb there are other type of bonding rather than breast feeding most important is u can't collapse
 
Buddy same same next sat is my baby shower. Hopefully baby Smooth smooth can discharge on Monday.
Btw are you feeding 100ml already? Not no meaning you got to feed till this amount by today. I feed not enough so my baby like this.
My dh is sama as your dh. We become mummy already still need to take care of them also. So I a lot of think do myself. So it is very important for us to share here. Otherwise sure explosion.

Btw how different is the confinement for csec? Should walk more or need to rest flat like natural birth?
 
Should try to urine first, let out gas to ensure system is working and try to get out of bed to walk back normally when you are in hospital. After that rest at home and of course walk a bit. Then try to bend instead of stretching your body otherwise wound will tear.
 
Ete wait for yr updates after ur csec. 2nd day onwards yes can start walking and must urine...my doc recommend me walk around but slowly. Lie down and get up especially from bed is painful. Get ready your binder it really helps.

Lynn my wound still hurts occasionally but I stop wearing binder already. My tummy skin still flabby. Lie on sides will feel some sensation. Ya I need to let out my conplains here if not I head burst. Then also the mil problem previously make me so unhappy. Dh make get cry few times cause he say her then I also guilty haiz say cannot don't say also cannot. I haven't feed bb 100ml I still feeding 70ml cause they 60ml like not enough but give 70 sometimes they cannot finish. If 100ml my bm really not enough. I thou not latching but still hope they able drink my express out milk.
 
Oh there is a skill to feed the baby until the required amount. I just learn from the hospital and my baby is drinking well now. Otherwise my baby becomes very cranky and I am doing wrongly all along at home. PD said by now is 100ml. Hmm.. haha I can give you free advice if you need me to ask anything from my PD. Haha I ask one list of questions.
 
Is like the bottle you must in a bit then down the up repeat this. Then they will suck. If stop drink do again. Or turn the tips left right.
Why I said I do wrongly at home I just feed normally. Then baby gets tired and sleep in the end drink so less. Always like 60ml. Then not enough milk = awake and cranky.

For me I didn really rest on bed haha find abit weird but somehow if u want can try to rest more if not u will encounter back pain when sleeping, now I encounter back pain when sleeping can't sleep at the back for long. Can't take chicken n seafood up to hw long depends on u. If appear wound to be ok but u won't know inner wound ok already anot

For me is 3 days No food. The third day then can eat. Depends on individual. If release of gas cannot Eat for my case which only kicks in on 3rd day.

Ete For me I can eat my dinner the same day I am done with my csec. The doc didn ask if I let of gas doesn't seems to be their concern. They just keep asking if I pain, got vomit? Then I was allow water 1st before food come then they ask if I vomit out the food etc. But in fact I feel totally ok can eat and finish the food hehe.

I think is becoz urs is elective csect for my case I already abt 24 hrs later than take my meal so feel like puking when I have my first bite then the next day I'm ok liao haha

Faithfullyours mine was not given a choice, the nurse when I discharge just say go nearest polyclinic to check jaundice and the 1st week Dh go almost daily to make sure the level never increase. It's only 2nd week then their level decrease and the visit to polyclinic stretch to 4-5days. Their level must go below 100 then we stop visit.

Csec process so scary, dh already stunned. Only video the non scary part. Anyway, once baby out, forgot about mummy.

How to rest well? Busy with latching and now breast start hardening .

My baby gal has jaundice and the level went up to 214 yesterday morning when we did the blood test at polyclinics. Doctor recommended that we go back to KKH later in the morning today. The threshold is 220. If her level goes up beyond this level, she will have to be admitted and done photo therapy. I really pray hard that her level will go down.
 
Seeing the list Faithfullyours wrote really bring back memories. How we 1st started out in ivf thread then to the mummies support thread. I still thought I'm the only bke who will go plan for elective csec end up quite a few "supporters" here heehee.

Faithfullyours did u try to keep bb hydrated by giving Her lots of milk? Pray that her level don't go beyond 220 later when u bring her to kkh. I know it's worrying. Mine girls took 2 weeks too to see a drop in the level but lucky is they didn exceed the limit to have treatment. Looking on the bright side once ur girl level went down she won't be so sleepy which means u have her latching even better cause won't sleep during latch...be Positive!
 
Finally bb in our arms. Can't describe the feeling but it's definitely great. N first latch wasn't successful. Wondering when bb is coming for second try.

I do. I latch her when we are at home. My milk supply is here. Though not a lot yet, it's increasing. We feed her 3 hourly. When I latch, I latch about 2 hours, not really continuously. When we go out, my CL will feed her FM and plain water.
 
I have just finished feeding my baby. Hope that test result will be good tomorrow so that she can discharge. Poor her so young got so many needles on her and already eating medication.
Faithfully, try to have more formula in to the feeding. It will helps as we don't know how much bm you ate giving when latch.
Water is a few drop maybe is for cleaning the mouth but not to the stage of feeding a lot.
Congrats ete.. haha. . I still remember how we started the list of edd in this forum then the list of gender team and now the graduation list. Haha. So happy to know you all here. We are also glad to have sister snow and joie who are the senior graduating.

Yap my edd in mid dec tot will be delivering in end nov but dr say too early so ask me to choose a date in first week of Dec for elective csect in wk 38

Hope your girl jaundice level goes down n gets well soon

Jia you, it must be very tiring for you . The crying and every 2 hours to wake up for the first two days is killing me already...and the breast is getting harder and hurting now. And with extra things to handle like jaundice must be horrible.
