@luvyz hi! Would u share with me on your prenatal massage? Details and price. Tks ;)
Yesterday she came my hse for 1st session. $50/hr. She massaged my whole body with some nice smelling homemade oil.
Her name is Dee, +65 9485 3892.
I'm still considering to sign package for 5 sessions or 10. Lol

I feel my baby 'stepping' on my laps and bladder these few days.:rolleyes:I was only in 26 weeks...think later it must be hurts when she growing bigger:eek:

I am already feeling v uncomfy at week 28 nw. It's a little of love-hate r/s. It moves alot; good to know bb is healthy but damn uncomfy.

Btw any ladies here doing maternity photoshoots? Got any recommendations? :)

I'm thinking of taking Bambini....still thking wana have maternity AND newborn shots as well? but not sure isit like a waste of money since im not working now..;(

for newborn i do love Studio Play and my friends like PS I Love You as well.

You can check out those?

@stickyrene - Thanks!! How about the labour rooms in the two hospitals?
So have you decided which hospital?

Blessed Mother's Day to all! :)
I haven decide which hospital yet..cos natural both price competitive yet Csect it's much cheaper in Mount A. (if i didnt rem wrongly). so perhaps when until the last few weeks then decide again!

ANyway i didnt have the chance to visit the delivery room cos it was both occupied during my tour...

Thanks @stickyrene, I go check it out :). I plan to do both cos I love momentos. I regret not getting a good photographer for my wedding so now i rather spend a bit more on photography and save later :p.

I read that movements peak at 28 weeks, so you are on track :). My bb movements about the same at 25 weeks, I do wish he moves more so I can feel him.

Hey ladies, I'm having a corn on my feet and it hurts when I walk and put pressure on it.. does anyone know if it's safe for us to use a corn plaster? I know it contains salicylic acid, so not sure if I can use it! Please help!!

Just a quick question... does anyone of you still wearing underwired bra? Does it feels uncomfortable esp when u are sitting down as the underwired like 'cutting' into your rib cage like that.... :(

I still wear them when I'm out and at work. Will be a little uncomfortable but very minimal for me because my boobs hardly grew. Only my underbust grew.. At home I will wear the wireless ones because I'm staying with my in laws. If not will choose not to wear.. :)

Oh i dont wear underwire since a long time ago! haha. felt very uncomfortable so i changed ..but over the months its tighter! so i went gmarket and buy those extention bra hook. Recently bought more bras from Spring Maternity cos i feel even the non underwire feels tough! (perhaps the chest area expand?) so i bought the nursing bras! haha. Sales lady said it's alright since i can use it after bb is born. SO its pretty comfortable..

Even now at home im braless, when i hunge my back, the skin at the front chest area is like squashed and i feel pain! So i always need to sit very straight!

Thanks @tiffy0410 & @stickyrene for your reply.

I initially tot bcos my boobs grew so I went to get my measurement checked and got some new wired bra.
But seems that it doesn't improve...

I'm a little bit concern wearing non-wired bra because I am on the big side (Am currently a D cup)... wun it be like hmmm.... looks 'sloppy'?

Change to nursing bra!

I've changed to nursing bras since I was around 3 months pregster? I used to only wear underwired bras.. But I realised the beauty of non wired bras now!!!!
Very comfortable. I bought mine from baby fair - youhaveababy.sg. Cheaper at the fair.

Recently bought this stretchable demi nursing bra from mothers en vogue (2 for $50) and its comfortable! Just lup the bra over.

@J.Lau & Its the wire.. And cos our stomach is like touching our boobs already.

I went to Mount A and Mount E Novena.

Mount A feels a little run down perhaps it has been so many years plus its furnishings are brown in color... However I heard all babies will be blessed despite your religion. The guide did inform us sometimes the single bedded can be full utilised and we have to downgrade to 2-bedded. Second night if there is space, there can transfer you back to a single room. She did added this can be pretty common.

Mount E novena perhaps has so much hype that I had high expectation so it turned out average to me. However if you're concerned about the downgrade of rooms, all maternity rooms are single.

Which 1 do you intend to chose? im considering these 2 as well...The only cons about Mt A is the possibility of being downgraded to 2-bedded. As for Mt ENovena, I am concern about the service. Cos the review of someone who delivered in April is quite avg...she commented its a bit understaff and had to wait quite long for the nurses to come to assist. There was also some problem with the billing and registration of the baby's name.

Im in 27wk 4days. My hub finally gets to see my tummy jerk when baby moves..cos each time he places his palm on my tummy and feels nothing at all.. and this is really a lovely gift for his 8th dating anniversary!

Thanks to all those mummies who replied.
I guess I will have to visit those shop to have my boobs measured and get a nursing bra instead.

@queeensg Totally agreed on the parts whereby our stomach is touching our boobs already. I even told my hubby that when I look down, I can't even see my 'meimei' anymore. lol!

Haha the worst part is the hot weather! Sweat that portion in btw tummy n boobs..so embrassing!

Yes yes!!! In between the thighs!!!
Then when walking that time, u will feel them rubbing against each other...

No plans.. I leave it to my gyane to decide cos I cannot decide on my own. Lol...

Tomorrow is my routine check.. everytime I will feel alot of anxiety! Scary. ..

Hoping to go for natural birth.. Haven't decided on epidural yet..
Tho my hubby asked me to go for it coz he doesn't want me to go thru too much pain..

Ditto for me too. If I can I will go for natural with epidural cos my first bb so I don't want to be overwhelmed with pain. C-sect only if recommended by gynae.

I also read that natural birth can help reduce chances of bb having allergies as they are exposed to bacteria in birth channel. Recovery also faster for natural birth too.

tomorrow my first prenatal class at Thomson Parentcraft with the infamous Mrs W! Looking forward to it :)
Just finished my lessons with her.. =)
It's quite a fun experience but be prepared to be info-overload.. haha..
Btw, she is quite fierce at times... =P

thanks for the headsup @xlxin! Did you take videos of her lessons? I read some parents did so as scared cannot remember her lessons. I'm a first time mum and not a young one at that, so i have to buck up more during the classes lol. Find myself very unprepared...I still have not bought much bb stuff! Will start to go shopping soon.

On hindsight I think it's better to attend these classes earlier on in 2nd trimester...I find it difficult to move around and also to prop myself up from chairs. I don't even dare to sit on the floor as my knees got no strength to bring myself up :p.

I did not take any video.. I also never see anyone in my class do that..
Erm.. I think better to ask her permission before you do that.. as I mentioned she can be quite stern..
For most of the lessons, we were seated on the floor.. They prepare a mat & 2 pillows for each couple.. I usually go early and take the mat next to the wall so that I can lean.
