From what I understand, csect latest should be 39 weeks and should not go beyond that. Previously it was given 38 weeks, and then research has shown that baby can be kept inside till 39 weeks. So now most gynae advise 39 weeks can go csect. I am still thinking about birthing options.

My next appt with gynae is next week. I'd probably check with him on birthing options too. I'm still inclined towards natural, but need his advice since #1 was c-sec.

Induce is the worst option of the lot, I feel. Unless critical situation for baby, otherwise shouldn't induce.

I hear alot of ppl say their gynae telling them to induce and c sect wen their baby is so called big.even less than 3.2kg nearing due date also tell them better induce blah blah.n i wonder the gynae has no confidence in themselves or the healthy patient? Or jus wan earn more

Just went for checkup. Baby is 1.34 at 29.3 weeks. Looks like I will be delivering at 37 weeks which makes me an April 14 mum to be. But actually according age bb is due on 15/5. Gynae advice earlier better, especially being my 3rd. Said last month one of his patient's prev csection wound ruptured and she end up losing when whole womb... Heng saved baby and her life though.

I chose my gynae cos he is pro natural... He doesnt even cut there unless necessary... there are some gynaes whose patients are all c-sec ones- paragon got one i heard. Lady gynae.

That really sucks! I am wk 31 this friday! 9 more wks to go... I think in another 3 wks i will start freaking out at how unprepared i am for #3... Haha. His towels havent buy and no cupboard space for this poor fella...
