Wow! 3.75kg... Means v easy to tAke care cos the neck will be quite strong liao. Last time when I had no1, i asked gynae during an appt- is my baby very small sized? I rem it was something along the lines of if the baby is so big the mother cannot give birth naturally also no point. So jus nice can liao. ;) aft that i never quite ask him. Only ask if bb weight gain is normal.

Anyway i am quite small sized myself so cant be expecting a BIG baby...

Little lamb, I am not too far from you? I gained only abt 3kg so far... Gynae never say anything leh. My first preg gain 13kg second preg abt 7kg in total. This round.... I should stop eating so many pineapple tarts... :)

You can go to gynae/GP to get cough mixture. I rem i coughed until v cham during my 2nd preg. Its those cough and cannot stop. Once lie down cough like mad type. I almost finished a whole bottle of chuanpei pipa gao. Try to see a doc for the medication if not duro-tuss is safe for pregnancy (ask the pharmacist if u dont wanna see doc). Diflam lozenges oso safe for pregnancy.

wah gd leh.
i nvr gain back my alrdy fat pregnancy weight of 5yrs bck..evry yr put on weight. so nw im.really overweight liao.
u gd gain nt much no nd wry thereaft

my #1 was natural birth but assisted with forceps.i took epi cos my back bones breaking.
i hope i wun nd epi this round

Was baby facing up? I heard that if baby head down but face up will get v bad back/spine pain cos their skulls will be pressing against yr back... I hope to dong wo epi for #3. Didnt use for first 2...
 
Hi I'm new to this forum. I'm 1st time mum, edd 30th May 14.
Now only 21 weeks and caught flu. Does any of you take flu medicine from gp or ur ob/gyn can give u better medicine? Or do not take any at all. Sorry for the long qns.

Welcome! I saw the gp/company doc when i was 19 wks. She gave me some flu/cough/cold medication. rem to tell them u are pregnant and they will giv u "preg safe medication". Off hand other than the cough mixture i mentioned, the yellow small pill - chlorpheniramine is confirm safe for pregnancy.

But by then too late liao. This time i am so not even going to try laughing gas. Its a joke siah. Both times i try both times also no use!

Ya me. I jus came down with a bad flu. Went to see doc and took pitron (cannot rmb exact spelling). Tell ur gp tt u r preggy.

But i ren until i cannot tahan then i take the medicine. I rmb i came down with flu during my first trimesters oso. The gp refuses to give me any flu pills to take tt time cos still during the critical first 12 weeks. Anyway, i wen to see doc for the mc only. Flu must rest and zz more. The medicine wont help much except to help with the block nose so tt u can zz and rest better.

Drink more water!!!

I was given chlopheneramine by my gynae for my blocked nose the last time. It's the yellow pill? Will cause drowsiness. Better to check with gynae before it gets worse.

Hahhaha, I am small build also. So I won't expect to have a big baby overall. Otherwise my body cannot take it.

Yup the small yellow pill which polyclinics love to give when u have runny nose...
 
tdy dint get to c my baby face! cos he face down. tink too hungry doc bounce him also dun turn. cos i was affected by nsl brkdwn rush cab dwn .. end up aft all done aft 10.30 then get to eat brkfst.

i haven been gd..cos tdy nvr tak iron again.vry tired liao gna zzz so lazy go crush to eat.
jus thinkg...really mus eat evrybdy meh...im so sick of it

Compared to my 1st preg this 2nd is considered very small Lolz.... But main weight goes to me during the 1st preg. Gana from my gynae... Lolz

This time round diet swayed towards veg... But I still eat meat till date I gained 1.5kg...

Yup gynae mentioned that baby organs all growing pretty well and he is smiling say good job.. Lolz

Seen a GP and was given Abrilar same as what my gal is drinking and I drank 2 weeks... Still no recovery till I stopped it slowly stop. Who knows my mom forgot n taobao chicken cube in mixed veg rice 1 night.. There it goes again.. Getting worst!

I think I give it a fee more try drinking honey .. Otherwise this weekend I go see TCM

I had it in my 1st birth, wondering if I skip this time round, will it be super painful esp the stitching part?

Stitching the gynae will giv local anesthesia to the area so sewing not painful. I manage to hv 2 without thou the 2nd birth was much more painful siah!
