koric, my gynae also told me that as my baby is more active at night.
But I think min81 has a point, probably baby wants to be rock so move more when we're resting.
 
Ladies may i know what is your amniotic water level at week 28? Mine seems low but doc nvr say anythg last week. N nurse mention my pulse very fast.
 
Sade - in the room next to dr marianne. $35. Dr said from now onwards, if feel any decreased in movt, go to the 24 hour tmc clinic and ask for ctg.

How was your strep b? I failed miserably for that.

Bbshower - not sure if there is a specific measuremt.. But dr just look at the scans and see pockets of water. If u r worried abt leaking amniotic fluid, there is an instant test where dr do a swat to check.
 
min81 & Znatasha, thanks. That makes sense! But sometimes baby moves so much at night it's hard to sleep! :S

BB shower, is it a norm for you to know the amniotic water level? My gynae never told me leh!
 
Congrats Joanne. You can ask the nurses to help u to the toilet. They are also suppose to measure your pee for the first 2 rounds. Keep the stocking on as it help circulation. Are you bf-ing your bbs? If so, you might wanna consider expressing out till you are able to sit up.

As for the wound to heal, you might wanna take sheng yu jing. But take it aft 10-12 days.
 
Koirc gynae nvr say anythg just that during growth scan I look at the report

Whiteclover, you know the step b results on the spot? Hmm then what did dr Loh? Still can go through natural delivery? I'm going to tell him that I want to do the test in my next visit. Scared I will fail also....

When is your next visit with dr Loh?
 
Hope, if fail step b still can do natural just that doc will need to administer antibiotic before delivery. That's what I read.
 
Hope normally will do strep b test at week 35onwards. Not too early. Result will be known during next visit.

Sade - yes. He told me abt a story abt a case at east shore where the PD was on the golf course and it was a emergency for the baby. We immediately decided to go with whoever he suggested.

Hope - strep b only do at week 35 onwards. If it is positive, just need to drip antibiotics during delivery. Seeing dr loh in a week's time.
 
Whiteclover, are you prone to UTI or yeast infection before preg? Read that those who are prone, usualli will fail strep b test. Sade, are you prone to it?
 
Sade and Whiteclover, yah I heard will do the test late coz no point doing so early. Will tell him I want to do the test at next visit coz will be 32 weeks liao... So as to prep him haha.
 
PSP - ya, she does speak very fast, so I bring pen and paper and write down what she says, otherwise sure forget...haha..anyways she will give handout on second or third lesson. Sade is right, it is helpful for hubby to know what we are going through and what he can do to help especially during labour.

For mummies shopping for stuff, I think there is another baby expo fair coming up 18-20 Jan!
 
Whiteclover he told me the exact same story. He always like to give golf example.
Hope no need to prep him cos it's their clinic practice to test for strep b.
Reikibaby I always have uti before pregnancy. N also during pregnancy first trimester, I kana itchy v. So not true.
Chevy hehe initially I also can't understand her accents but will get use to it.
 
Sade, great....cos im prone to uti... And now keep hving discharge and i find it smells below.mso must keep washing to keep clean.

Hope when is your nxt visit... Wow 32 weeks.... After sade n whiteclover, will be your turn....
Like once step into 30weeks,...everything moves fast....
 
Reikibaby, next visit 2 weeks later. Yah feel that once hit 30 very fast! Now I'm like listing down a to do list what to do or read up before the day comes.., I haven't even read the pump manual haha. But I think our EDD very near each other right?
 
Hope, im 2weeks behind you. I also din read the manual. Think once cny over, time will fly...hahha.... Im seeing dr loh next week. Btw, you register with tmc liao?
 
Reikibaby, yah time will fly after CNY! I should be 37 weeks after CNY! Anxious haha! Still feel that a lot of things to do and need to tidy up store room and bb's wardrobe. Yup I got the form from Alice just fill in and give the recep at level 1.

Yes fetal care centre uses more high tech machine than the doctors office so clearer resolution. So after this when is your next scan?
 
Usagi i only know that dang gui can't take during pregnancy.

Reikibaby I rem Whiteclover told me that she having discharge throughout her pregnancy. If discharge is smelly then better tell Dr loh. Cos normally discharge is no smell.
 
Hope no wonder u r going in 2 weeks time. Cos for package normally is 3weeks. Anyway feel that with package or without package the money spent will be abt the same.
 
Sade actually the last scan was under Dr M. She said everything looks ok so scheduled 4 weeks later for me... Don't think she knows I have a package or not. Yah should be around the same I think but i wasn't able to sign the package at week 15.... Then next visit is week 20 so decided not to sign haha.
 
Egg factory: sure no prob . Today will be just the tour of maternity facilities . My fren who had her detailed scan or normal scan in tmc . The pictures were quite clear though 2d scan was done . I think the detailed scan pics were ok but the routine scan in doc room was not very clear . My next scan is in march . But I shd be requesting for the routine scan dur doc consultation every month .
There is another forum sister also with dr Chua . Seems that she is popular .
 
Called dr zou. So pai sei, as she very busy. She said ok. But I think I just take out dang gui better. Hubby making black chicken tonic soup for me and our son. Heehee. I hope I not too fat. Now 25 weeks + already gain 8.1 kg.
 
Hope oh Ya I rem u saying that before abt not able to sign up at week 15.

Dang gui is not safe during pregnancy as it can cause bleeding. But maybe Dr zou felt that can take in small quantity. Well depends on your own comfort level.
 
Sade, i din sign up the package w dr loh. But last visit, dr M mention will see me every 3 weeks cos bb is big. And also cos of GD so she say need close monitoring. Will see what dr loh says.

Ladies who doing the glucose pricking at home, did dr loh says what level then he will give insulin? Trying hard to ctrl so i wont kena the jab....
 
Ctg was ok. He said next week when I see him, monitor again. If still nvr gain wt, then induce. He said to eat durian

Whiteclover, the one done for ogtt was 9.6. Then weekly one between 5.2-8 depending on what i eat that day. Though i try hard to be guai when doing the test. Usualli the highest abt 7.6.

Sade, think i will just vacuum the carseat.

Whiteclover I had put on 17kg from bfp till now. I don't wan to induce bb. Just realise that there is one mummy in Jan thread and was induced by Dr loh on her edd. N bb weight is lesser than measured. Oh don't know if inducing is Dr loh habit or not.
 
Ladies - i have been in sharp stabbing pain in the last 6 hrs that comes n goes. I think its constipation pain. What medication can i take?
 


Tutu: how abt taking the medicine or more water and fruits to loosen ur stools so that u can pass motion? I have that pain few days ago too .
