Thanks to all sisters for your concern. Yeah now is really uncomfortable period for me again. Appetite dropped too..

Im new to tis so I accidentally posted hi twice hehehe....My edd date is 4th of june. Im going for amino fluid ( I think thats what its name ) test tomorrow. Im kinda worried. have anyone here done it too??

i'm advised to go for CVS or Amnio test in KKH due to contradicting results for Oscar. One doc said nasal bone present and sonographer said absent and they have to put it as absent in the report.
I chose to go for 2nd opinion at Camden medical with Dr Anandakumar. Results were fine and i am at low risk.
CVS and Amnio are both invasive and carry high risk of miscarriage (1 in 300). This figure is considered very high risks to me. We have tried so hard to conceive and cannot risk having a miscarriage if baby is perfectly well.
I have just completed my 5 months detail scan and everything is fine.
By the time you read my post, you may have already completed your test.
Wish you all the best and everything will be fine. Do rest well after the test.

i dunno if i'm rite but if possible do wait till u pass the 37 weeks mark cos the lungs are the last to be developed, so do allow some time for the lungs to be developed fully before they are out even tho they are of good weight

i think if dr loh not around will be dr marianne hendricks or dr benjamin tham. dr marianne is in the same clinic as dr loh while dr tham is at wc cheng clinic on first level. dr tham is dr loh's colleague in kkh. he was my gynae for #1, i really love him, great bedside manners and very experienced, quite a number of my colleagues were under him but he's not into fertility, just the usual gynae/obstetrics cases. he used to be the head of the colposcopy dept in kkh.

Sade, can share how to bu the body? Sorry I'm very blur in this aspect and I was adopted so my mum has admitted that she is clueless with pregnancy and babycare. Thank you!

I just got the call. Alice said dr loh admitted to hospital. Only back after xmas. My appt rescheduled to thurs under dr marianne.

Lil, actually my mum is also clueless abt bu. I learnt this bu stuff from another aunt. Basically during my mum's time, she was younger when giving birth and thru natural way hence she sees no need to bu.
As for me as i m in mid 30s n concieve thru ivf hence it's impt to bu.
Few ways to bu such as pure homemade chicken essence with either pao sheng or dong cong cao, black chicken with red dates n dangsheng, or dong cong cao n pao sheng with pork loin meat. Or birdnest with pao sheng.
Pao sheng n dang sheng can bu qi.
I did it weekly for 2nd trimester. 3rd trimester once fortnightly. I stopped it during week 33.
Let me know if u need any other details. Actually i quite enjoy bu-ing! haha.

Yes, just got the news that dr loh is hospitalized. Really hope he's ok. Alice asks me to go amk hub to see this dr Wendy who is under tmc. I requested for dr tham but Sandra said better dont wait just go see dr Wendy first then reschedule me to see dr loh after Xmas.

Hope my appt is friday n i m so looking forward to my week 34 scan. Hopefully she won't delay my appt any longer. Cos it's been 3 weeks sin my last appt.
Dr Loh is making us worry for him. now causing panick attacks on this and ivf threads.

) I have great time shopping for baby clothing and dressess. Its so cheap there.
Oh no...Dr Loh is not well. He looks good when I saw him on last Tuesday. I think he over-work. Pray that he get well soon.
Znatasha: Probably is due to skin stretching. Me too have rashes and itch initially. But ever skin I started to use the Clarins Cream everyday, I no longer have rashes. Dr Loh also highly recommeneded either Clarins Oil or the cream. But, I personally prefer the Clarins Cream.

U may have developed a skin rash due to pregnancy called PUPP. No cure but will go away after u give birth. maybe can check with ur gynae if there's any cream to help u relieve the itch.

At least now u know the reason. Low placenta can cause bleeding. Sometimes the placenta will move up as ur pregnancy progress, meantime u have to be careful not to overstrained urself.

Yesterday, my husband bought a Day by Day Baby Guide Book. I read a few pages during breakfast this morning and it was enough to freak me out. There are soooooo many new things to learn and to be 100% responsible for another human being. Prepare for our lives to be turned into a turmoil!! Ha ha!

Lil, dont mention. I really feel the difference when i bu cos the energy level is there. Can do a lot of things when we have enough energy.
