Hub didnt wanna announce to anyone until near 3 months but i told my gf who is already a mother of 2.. Well is my 1st n i have tons of quests...
 
è visit 2è gyne 2day showed no ovulation takin place, and i m
startin on è various pills 2help.. it will b a while b4 we can hope 4results... congrats on the newly preggie mommies-to-be, enjoy the magical process!
 
Celtbaby: Did a scan n managed to see the SAC.. Doc say no sushi, no raw food, less papaya n mango... Asked me contd w follic acid n see her 2 weeks later..
 
Berry: any idea why papaya n mango not good?

Alyssa: I've yet to see the gynae too.... My appt 2 wks later..

Any of you feeling any ms already or symptoms? I feel normal except for some achy feel at the lower abdomen, sometimes poking kind of pain but very mild kind. I guess it's normal?
 
Celt: Haha I forgot to ask. Think I'm still in disbelief.. I even forgot to ask abt my edd!! But am experiencing cramps on off which I worrying for me... Like menses but still worrying.. Doc said is normal.. Jus take note if there's spotting or bleeding..
 
Haha berry, I'm also still in disbelief... But I intend to write down my list of qns to ask my gynae... Hopefully, I rem to prepare the list n bring it along.... I very short term memory...

No spotting but nowadays when I wipe I will scrutinise the toilet paper to make sure no traces of blood... A couple of times I spotted a bit of blood mixed in the discharge, but very very little kind n you'll only see it when u hold it very close to ur eyes... Think shd be normal... I too paranoid I think.

i went to see gyane on wed.. can't see any sac thru tummy scan.. gg back to see him again in 2 week time..

im seeing Dr Lawerence Ang...
hope to see the sac for my next visit...

Berry: can i ask, gyane manage to see your sac thru vag scan or tummy scan?

mine was thru tummy scan n can't see any sac.. im abit stunned and upset..
this few days can't zzz well due to Dr tell me he can't see any sac... hmm ... haiz...

who is ur gyane?
 
before i did my scan, she did tell me i might not be able to see anything coz is too early.. but i wanted to try so she did the scan for me and managed to scan the sac.

i'm with dr anita kale from nuh...

ya, i did the scan n the doc told me he can't see any sac...

he also never suggest me wanna try n use vag scan anot.. hmm...

after i left the clinic, make me so worried... look so forward to next visit...

when is ur next appt?
 
Hi I just tested positive today! Tested with clear blue and almost could not believe my eyes .. Think it's too early to see gynae .. Will make appt for next week..
 
berry.... how does a closed grp in fb works?.... absolutely no one in our fb will see it except for those who join the closed grp? The email i provide will have to be my facebook email right? or do i ve to create a new account? sry... i not very familiar with facebk... i have it but just use it daily to post and read friends' updates...

hey, this is gg to be #2 for me too. though my first one is still a baby and will turn 1yo in 2 2 mths time..
also very gancheong. hadn't seen the heartbeat. just the sac
 
actually i shld be in the feb thread coz gynae said edd is in feb but when i see her last week, she said im in week 5
 
Hi mummies, it has been a while since i last log in. Had a major scare last week, but thank god, all's well. Gg for my 1st scan next week. Excited yet worried.

As my first scheduled scan is next week, i haven even confirm my edd date!! But online calculator was looking at 25 feb to 2nd march! Different results based on LMP and possible dates of ovulation ;p

Hopefully I will be able to join you gals in the fb secret group with a peace of mind probably when everything is more settled ;) who shd i contact to join?

i love babies: at least u see the sac.. i more worse can't see sac.. dont even say HB...

Ya I think shd not scan so early because if cannot see anything is more worrying?

winnie, dont worry, i think you are still early to see anything on tummy scan.

I went to the gynae last week, supposed to do first scan but gynae thought my hcg level according to lmp is towards the low side.
2nd hcg test 2days later came back with only a 6%increase!!!!! not even 50% more. Gynae say there's nothing that can be done coz hcg levels indicate the health of the pregnancy. She suggested a third test, if it still did not double, will have to terminate the pregnancy.

i was devastated! Cried for the whole day and cleared up my thoughts the next day, preparing for the worst and praying for the best.

third hcg level was a beautiful 400% increase. Phew. Thank God for this miracle.
 
Pheww.. BeanBean.. our bodies can be so unpredictble at times... im glad everything turned out well for you. Just have lots of rest and eat lotsa nutritious food from now on. We do the best we can.

My 1st scan will be on the 17th.... hoping for the best too...

Sometimes i feel preg, sometimes i dont. My lower tummy bulge on certain days then flattens on other days. anyone experiencing this too?
 
celt: me also..sometimes, i feel like puke n bloated..
then sometimes i feel nothing...
i also hope for the best.. hopefully can see the sac n HB...

I can't sleep well at night and always need to go toilet .. V bloated as well. Hopefully no puke!

I prob will see back my #1 gynae at TMC ..

Celtbaby, indeed was a big relief, but still worried. Coz like u, I sometimes feel that this is so unreal. Bloating and "unbloating" is normal, I have that too and sometimes have bowel spasms. Hopefully for the best for ur first scan. Mine will be on 11 ;)

Berrydelight, I read that it is ok to do highlighting etc but I think best to avoid.

I'm a first time mum, so got to learn from experienced mums here! Anybody with me?
 
BeanBean, I'm 1st timer, still learning too. I dont feel bloated, coz gas n bloatedness usually can feel it at the upper abdomen right? which i don't, only lower abdomen mild discomfort.

What is bowel spasm? I'm quite constipated, now i take fybogel everyday. but still not very smooth the bowel movement.

Berry: me too cant sleep well at night, will keep waking up. And will wake up to pee at least once a nite, but i guess thats normal in pregnancy. Used to be able to sleep thru the night.... And ya, I also read that only highlighting is ok coz it doesnt really touch your roots, but still best to avoid. Perm/dye/rebond is not recommended.

Btw i'll join the fb closed grp later too when everything cfm ok... ;)

Bowel spasms are muscle contractions of the intestines. I got confused w cramps and later realise that the pain moves from up to down left to right, normally feels better after toilet visit.
I'm constipated too, trying to up the fruits and veg and h2o
intake. Also didn't get better

I sleep like a log! Fatigue overtakes me from late afternoon onwards everyday.
 
Can i chk, anyone experiencing blood in the discharge when you wipe? Only when u wipe and is abit only mixed with ur discharge but doesnt stain ur undies. should i be concern? No painful cramps though.

I tested positive using the Guardian set and tmr I am gonna buy the clearblue one for added confirmation. =)

Celtbaby - I saw some discharges which looked like blood but its not as red. Thankfully that only happened once a few days ago. I thought my menses was here!

Does anyone have gynae to recommend?
 
Celtbaby: last pregnancy I had blood stained discharge and happen to be I had a polyp at the cervix area. After removal it didn't spot anymore. But I think if the blood is not a lot I guess it might be remnants from implantation? I had just a tinge of brown about 1 wk ago. If the blood is bright red and fresh I think u need to see the gynae. If its brown I think u can monitor. But if really worried can go see ur gynae.

Hj, mine's not bright red, not brown either... In btwn i guess. After that i went pee a few times, no more le, i think i'll monitor n if it happens again, i'll check with my gynae.

Another qns, can hcg lvls be checked by gp? Or must go to gynae oso?

Week 4-5 cannot see any sac thru tummy scan. If u are week 4, sometimes cant even see any thru vagina scan. But may be able to see a small space. Don't worry ladies. If u are week5, Shld be able to see something thru vagina scan. Week 6 will sure see something. Nothing is wrong ladies
