Aspialle, immunization packages available in many clinics as well. Healthway clinics have it. In clinics, at least is the doctor who administer, not the polyclinic nurses. Also cheaper than pd.
Will bring my baby down to polyclinic, try my luck.... Website says fri afternoon is off peak.... Hopefully, no need to wait long.

Sometimes will wanna hit their head.
Imagine there was once we waiting n the doctor walked in n out for 1 hour till nurse walked pass n asked why we hadnt seen doctor. The doctor just assumed no more patients n doing his own things..... & the whole polyclinic left us. even when I went to ask the nurses a few times why queue not moving, they asked me wait patiently when some nurses already off work..

I do two pumps/latch (depending if bb wakes at that time) at night. One around 12-1am and the other at 5am. Those hours in between are very 'siong' to wake up to pump.
But if stretch longer than 5hrs breasts cannot take it and I leak all over.
How do you ladies manage the leaking? This is new to me. #1 I had low supply can drag very long between pumps.

Baby Ryan safely landed on planet earth yest 9 Jan 2013 weighing 3.370kg. Whew my c-sec wound was so painful that I had no mood for anything. Thank God things are better today.
however, recently my breasts will feel engorged whenever I carry the baby.. As if they are going to explode.. Is this normal?

Sigh.. How I wish I can rest too.. Hubby down with flu and my mil only cooks for me plus bathes baby.. If baby cries etc, I have to take care of him myself.. When my 2 older kids come back from school, they will keep coming into the room to look at the baby.. My baby currently has nose block.. I got the stomach flu from my mil.. Puked like a merlion last night.. My #1 fell down the stairs in the school.. Only told me today that her back hurts.. My #2 just vomitted after drinking his cup of milk.. Seems like the whole family down now..
worrying about the baby really decreases my milk supply..
usually have just increased my supply to 80-90ml each pump.. But today can just produced 60-70ml each feed.. Mil kept telling me to stop bf-ing, making me so stressed..

Moon chip, I used disposable breast pad when out, at home, use breast shield to 'collect' the milk n throw away... This time ard the leakage is bad whenever I latch one side, the other side will leak a lot, damn wasted but Bo pain leh!

@ friend, bdmummy, slyvia, moonchip, canopy, piscean33, Valerie and other mummies, thanks ladies for everything ... As friend mentioned I had a c sect..it a new experience for myself as #1 was a natural delivery..
Saw canopy and talking to her before I Was wheeled into operating theatre ard 6.45pm and the threatre was very cold.. my tummy was full of butterflies...was given a spinal injection plus some drips to calm me down and to ease the shaking in my body. The anesthesia was good and was constantly assured me and even joke with me.. was talking abt plastic surgery.. I was a joker ,asked since I c sect, can my doctor cut my fats in tummy too ...??? Wahhhhaaa..
Back to it, I can feel someone pulling my tummy skin, digging , taking the bb out and the sewing thou it not painful but it amazing...
After back to the room, I was getting groggy and vomited many times plus can feel the strain in tummy.
My #1 came and she was excited to see bb, keep wanting to touch bb and overall she ok.. hope it stays ..
I hated myself cos she fell on the metal of t he nursery cot, thou it an accident as she lost her grip, I was beside her and if I grab her, she will not fall and hurt herself .. her face red red at the upper cheek.. haizz
Oh yes, I Supplement with fm cos bm yet kicked in and only colostrum comes in .. was told for c sect mummy, bm will not kick in so fast...

Hi bliss_ling, same experience as u.. My c-sect also came unexpected.. Very scared when wheeled into the operating theatre too.. I also can feel the pulling of my tummy to get baby out.. Can imagine the butterflies in my tummy.. I held on to my hubby's hand cos a bit scared..
I did not have the side effects of the injection though.. Just felt uncomfortable sleeping on the hospital bed.. Can't seem to adjust to the comfortable position.. Did not take any painkillers for the 1st 2 days as I think the injection had not wear off.. But I did not have any good experience in the ward at TMC.. The nurses did not change my pads until I requested (cos was still on urine catheter).. Then, the other nurse let me walk by myself to the washroom though I was still giddy.. Luckily did not fall down.. Kept shouting at me.. Made me so depressed.. That's y I chose to be discharged at my own risk (BP levels on an upward trend) though gynae advised me against it..

Hey! Glad to see your post! It is not easy to hv c sec w epi coz u can feel the tugs etc so can be rather scary (hubby can get scared too man!). In a way, I was quite glad my #1 was under GA. Continue to take care and dun strain yourself coz the external wound may look ok but there is another cut at at uterus which we cannot see. Be careful to ensure bb does not accidentally kick the round area too

The cramps like menses should be contractions! Try to monitor the intervals between. Usually gynae will advise to go hospital to check if 5-10min apart. I find that the mobile phone apps are great for timing the contractions n their intervals coz by seconds/min so hard to track manually. Take care!

jlau > aiyo aiyo.. silly mama to be.. as mentioned earlier in my posts, be glad ur bb still wants to stay inside.. go pak tor, go have a nice dinner, enjoy all the CNY goodies, forbidden food, go catch movie, etc.. BEFORE ur precious comes out.

JTS, my #1 came out at 37 weeks, he just turned full term lor. then, i had to deal with his cryings in the day and during the night. turns out, his lungs are weak, lots of phlegm in him. plus he has weak stomach, cant take in FM. zZz lor.. really no rest for me as he was constantly feeding, 1.5hrs, have to breastfeed him already..

For pjs, raffles provides new gown everyday which is quite good for breast feeding, I wear their gown thru out n did not wear the pjs that I brought on my own. The gowns are tied string at the front sides for easy breast feeding but not that exposed, they also come with a kimono outer gown should u be meeting visitors or wan to get out of the ward for a walk.

Had been told to get out of bed to go to the bathroom to pass urine, cos walking a bit will help in recovery. first few times were accompanied with nurses, who are very patient n nice. i was able to go on my own after the 3rd time.
lotsa gas though , keep farting non stop that I think I stink up the rm. gynae said its normal though. Discharging today n told gynae to give me pain killers as I scare I willl still feel pain at home.
Joey, the nurses who shouted at u are horrible. they should be providing assistance to u n helping u feel better, think TMC are too crowded during this period, so short handed n making them less patient. I was lucky that the nurses I met during my stay at raffles were very professional n nice.

Joey, the nurses who shouted at u are horrible. they should be providing assistance to u n helping u feel better, think TMC are too crowded during this period, so short handed n making them less patient. I was lucky that the nurses I met during my stay at raffles were very professional n nice.
