I'm ok to work to keep me occupied. But is the frequent braxton hicks contractions/ tightening of abdomen whenever standing and walking that is making me uncomfy. It felt like carrying a bowling ball around.

that's a gd one Hahahaha just went off during Xmas then tell me it's new year leh. Btw on Xmas eve she request to talk to family, never sleep at midnight, they say its a traddition for them to celebrate Xmas eve, new year etc
She knows how to go orchard but says duno how to come back,took wrong train n came back an hr late on her off day. Plenty of excuses .. My son 6 year old gone once only also know how to teach her the route ... Haha

My previous helper even worse, from son hospitalized, followed by father in law pass away, mother in law sick, daughter hospitalized, hubby fell down hospitalized then mother in law passed away etc , whole family v busy, duno true or not... Keep wanting to advance pay every mth. If dun give she will tell u " then u wan my husband to die?"

I just come back fr my checkup so tired... Doc say my boy a bit too big for asian at week37. He now weight 3.42kg. Got to go back next week for a scan yo check his weight again. If he continue grows bigger or heavier, got to induce already. and baby position still not engage yet. Got to control what I eat now, less sugar and less carbohydrate...

on your new arrival. So long both mummy &amp; baby are fine, Dec or Jan baby doesn't make any difference.

True, most gynae who pratice in TMC are reluctant to deliver out of TMC. This is not the 1st time I hear of things like they will not be able to reach in time. When I check with current gynae, he delivers in 4 pte hospital and he said parking in Mt A is never an issue for Doctor cos all have been assigned valve parking. Once they reach, they just need to pass the key and their parking issue will be solved.

Personally I prefer Mt A becos of their personal touch. TMC gives me the feeling that they are very commercially. How one is treated, depends very much on what type of ward one books.

Lemongrass shower gel is to get rid of wind, will replace the TCM herbs which are more troublesome. I have not used before but there seems to be good comments abt it. Ginger cream also to get rid of wind, especially for aches and pains etc. I just wanna be more ks this time round - and since not engaging confinement lady (mum and mil will help me do confinement) so certain things still need to wash on my own or bathe baby. So just playing it safe!

Going for gynae check tomorrow. Did a blood test last week cos I had low iron level during my Oscar test last time, so doc wanna check again. Will get result tomorrow too, hope will be ok.
I was informed i passed the strep b test during the previous checkup.

My helper had been here for 2 months le, so far seems ok n quite pleasant. Hubby been training her in some cooking. Hopefully she can be of good help during my confinement though hubby will likely to be the main person helping me to handle the baby.

Group B strep (GBS) is a kind of bacteria that many people harbor in their intestinal tracts. The bacteria may also inhabit (or "colonize") your vagina as well, and be passed on to your baby during labor and birth.

Approximately 10 to 30 percent of pregnant women carry GBS in the vagina or rectum or surrounding area. While GBS is generally harmless in healthy adults, it may cause stillbirth and serious infections in babies.

Anyway, during delivery, u will be giving drips of antibiotic if u r having strep B.

Doubt I have been tested, cos I haven't paid for anything extra recently. Heehee...

Do u know if I will need this test since I am most prob be going to have c section and baby will not be passing through the birth canal?

Xycartx, i would say u try the lowest speed first. if u feel its 'no kick' then u slowly increase the speed... dun hurt ur nips! when i pumped till my boy 9mths, i on until max!! lol! cos maybe pumped too long liao, then immune. if pain, even if u on until min oso pain lor.. standby nipple cream.. else can use bm as its the best moisturiser
