serene: me no heartburn. but been getting palpitations. it's different from the ones i used to get from alcohol or coffee.. this one feels like the heart skips a beat. abit scary.

anyone experiencing this?

Just went to see doctor this afternoon and confirmed my pregnancy. baby is 5+ weeks and can hear heartbeat **happy**

blur me forgot to ask doctor my edd and didn't really remember when exactly was my LMP...if my baby is 5 wks 5 days old, when will be my edd?

am crying..

I have decided to keep my pregnancy but just went to gynae and he said that bb heartbeat is too slow, slower than mine, it measured only 4mm at 8 weeks is also too small.. He dont look very optimistic saying i will have high chance to miscarry..

Felt that god is playing a fool on me.. Really pray hard, but my job requires me to lift heavy goods and pack. Will discuss with hubby is he lets me resign with notice to rest at home.

hang in there! just keep praying,am sure your prayers will be answered. =) try to rest more, or maybe ur too stressed up,etc.. take it slow..and let nature do the rest..
 
Mummies,

Do you all have any feeling of a sharp piercing discomfort (wouldn't say pain-cos it's not that painful) on your abdomen?

sometimes, i feel it after carrying my #1.
 
Dragon_dilema2 (dilemad): Dun blame it on God gal. He only wans the best for you. Keep praying and have faith in God. Being sad and stress will only further affect it. Look on the bright side. It is beyond our control. I lost 2 so I know exactly how you felt but I never question God. God bless you n I will keep you in my prayers and all Mummies here too.

Dragon: sorry to hear that. do try to stay positive. everything will work out fine, for now just focus on eating well and resting well. try to take mc and rest first instead of quitting so soon. jiayou. will pray for u.
 
Beverly, welcome. I think yur edd is 9 Feb. I minus off 8 days from my due date and i'm 6 wks 6 days ystday.

U can use the online due date calculators to double check.
 
Am gg to prepare to see my gynae at 9.15am!! According to LMP, should be 7 weeks and am pretty excited about it.

Hope to see strong heartbeat later!

Your EDD Shld not be 9Feb, coz i m now 8 wks plus. my EDD is 7Feb..

Dragon, think u shud take mc to rest instead of resign now... Till bb stabilize then quit since yr job require carry heavy stuff, think not so gd for preggy...

Hi Lynn, oh, you just tested last week. Congrats. Did you check your EDD online? When is it?

Seems like I tested too early, v early in the pregnancy so feeling abit uncertain. I wonder if test kits will give a false +ve. :p
Anyway I booked to see gynae on 21st Jul, hope can see bb's heartbeat by then.
 
i badly need a nap. cannot keep my eyes open. how to last the whole pregnancy?

just now my coll, ask am i expecting cos i keep complaining stomach bloated. can't hit anymore esp tummy showing
 
Dragon: How about informing your boss/supervisor and see if they can allow you to be on leave till baby is more stable? How about roping in colleagues to help at times? Stay positive and be strong for the baby...
 
My cousin told me, if anyone ask just smile if u dun wanna tell but u cant say u r not preg. I've told quite a few ppl oredi cos they ask. ;p
 
Chergie> Why we cannot say we are not pregnant when pp ask? I just told someone tt as i thought we are not suppose to breathe a word to others.

But to think of it, i think colleagues around us will know since we been eating non stop.
 


chergie, i accidentally said no to someone last week! =( i wasnt expecting the question and out of kan cheongness i just said no lar.. felt very bad afterwards.

so moving forward, if anyone asks, i think i'll smile and say, "r u saying i look fat?" hopefully that will put them off!
