haha coyote and Felicia.. aiyo, who knows this time the milk not enough.. keke..
MayC, I m not sure if they deliver as i always buy and go. I can ask for you next time I am there.
Felicia, it is best to latch your baby instead of just purely pumping out. There are several reasons that i can remember. Mummies that know can add on:
1) Hormones released during breastfeeding help to strengthen the maternal bond. This is the bond that you have with your baby. No one can do it except you.
2)In layman term. While latching, the baby saliva will be passed thru to you and signals to your brain that which kind of nutrients the baby needs . Your body will generate it and pass back to baby through your milk . These same for immunity.
At different development stage of your baby, our body will also generate the necessary nutrient for your baby too.
It is true that after 6 months if you wan to stop, it is ok. I breastfeed my girl till she is 1 year old. During that period, she only had her 1st fever at 9 months and coughing etc come later. Not sure if it is due my breastfeeding etc
