Evie, PD said anything below 10 is ok..nothing to worry, but I still can see slight yellowish on his eyes the white part. And my room cannot get morning sun. Must bring him to corridor area then can get. Weekends hb can help me sun bath him outside, weekdays I don wan to grill with him haha or else I'll be super sweaty!

yup, use battery coz mine is freestyle so it's quite portable and convenient. which pump r u using?

yup, mine is c-sec. dunno le.. cannot take chicken? heheh.. i took it everyday during my confinement for #1 too. and my mum even specified must take kampong chicken wor.. but for #2, i didnt take wine coz breastfeeding and somemore that time bb got jaundice. so my confinement was, i didnt take ginger (only use as flavouring) and wine.

reminded me when my #1 was admitted due to jaundice during her first month. tht time she admitted four times in a mth and every 2-3 days got to go for blood test. really heartpain! btw both my bb r premature; #1,35wk+6d, #2,35wk. so i can understand ur feelings.. everything over now,she is home and you can hug her every moment!! happy for u![IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

Yes, a lot of heart pain and bank account pain also! I was hospitalized for a month and then baby for 2 months... When she was in ICU she had all these tubes, needles and sensors... Cannot bear the thought of it even... poor baby has gone through a lot at an age where she should have been comfortably sitting inside mummy. Cloud, I love mushroom! My CL said she heard people saying eat mushrooms will reduce milk supply?
Breakfast: Other than mee sua and fried beehoon, what other breakfast can we take?
Evie: Same here, I keep thinking of McDonalds pancakes and egg muffin.
Supper: Yes, I take every night, milo/cereal with biscuit or bread. 5 meals each day but my CL still says I eat too little.
Janice: I will pump and give to my boy if he is hungry at the same (fresh milk the best!) but if not, then I will keep in fridge and warm up later when he goes hungry. I use a separate bottle for each pump.

Any mummies here have experienced knifelike pain when latch on? I wonder if I have fungal infection. The pain lingers after pumping or BF, like stays in the veins and I feel it even during sleep.

Preciousmom, fish bone papaya soup works very well. I drank yesterday evening, my boobs keep having engorgement every 2hrly! Faintz..I feel so lazy to pump

Apple: really in dilemma rite? Wanted to give them more breast milk but other hand, lazy to keep pumping rite? Same here.. N I aso worried abt engorement.. Nw my boy cam drink 100ml if we missed e slightly over 3hrly feed which my supply won't b able to satisfy him.. My each 1hr pump can only produce 130ml.. Sigh

Janice - Yu Long Zhi charged $100. My Hubby called them up after my birth, gave them the child birth details and they ask him to go down the next day. A piece of paper with the child character & life will be given in a book cover and another loose sheet with two rows of chinese character, they will ask u to choose one on the top row and one on the bottom row for you to mix and match for bb name or you can choose their suggested names.

dear mummies, my bb gal still drinking 80ml, just like to know how much ur baby is drinking?? she is 3 weeks old now. (yeah 1 more week of confinement for me woohoo)
btw, does your baby make grunting noises when she sleeps? i suspect she doesnt like sleeping on the bed, she keeps grunting every 10mins. If she sleeps on the rocker, she's be perfectly silent. Regardless, i'm gona train her to sleep on the bed...

i bf my #1 for a year. When you decide to stop, you have to do it gradually like drag longer hours for pump from 4 hrs to 5 to 6 and also pump duration reduce then ur supply will drop and eventually stop. Initial will prob feel a bit engorged but soon it will be ok. I heard that there is medicine to help stop as well.

Apple/Jane - I was also told by elders when i was discharged that no eggs and chicken for the 1st 2 weeks for c-section birth.... but when i was in hospital during breakfast time on the 2nd day of my stay i was already given roti prata curry chicken, 3rd day pancake with scramble eggs and 4th day mee sua with pig liver and fried egg soup.
Frankly, i find that confinement has so much do and don't... like must wear cover up clothes... cannot drink plain water... cannot drink water while standing... must always lie down...can't wash hand with tap water...bath must use boiled chinese herbs...cannot wash hair..cannot go out... C-section confinement is 40 days instead of 30 days and cannot take seafood for 100 days.... etc..
