DQ: i heard some who massage post & pre natal also know how to massage BB but got charges lor..

Scared later BB keep want ppl massage then can slp then i headache.

DQ: HI so long nvr hear from you! Gynae says no need for induction cos i already dilated, so tomorrow morning admitting to break water bag to speed up the process. NERVOUS!!!

haha dun think will lah. Massage is good. It helps bb to develop their sense of touch and can promote bonding.

no lah, i am referring to ourselves massaging bb, thats why asking wat lotion to use. If is massage lady, they will bring their own lotion mah.

i recommend you buy massage oil that has no fragrance and is organic. u hv time, go to mums essentials at united sq or chk out NTUC finest. they may carry organic massage oil. otherwise, get california baby massage oil also can

u can start to massage bb when they are born, no issues... light strokes... make sure room is warm as u r exposing them to air hopefully, they are calm when u wanna massage them [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

Went to see gynae yesterday evening... bb already engaged and weight 2.9kg at 37wks and 2 days



I already got my hospital admission letter...

next appt will be next tue... on weekly base

xbeanniex, lie down and place ur hand on tummy and check. Try the counting of fetal movements. From 9am, start counting the no of times bb move. Should hit 10 times by 6pm

 
beannie, try to wake bb up? and see whether he will move? usually i will rub the feet to check her movement. there was once she was so quiet, so unlike her! then she moved after i rubbed her feet, think she was just sound asleep!

 
JP: bb usually follows mummy's body right? Like mummy is tired bb is tired too...



as last night i got stuck in my position slping... unable to wake my HB up to flip me over, hence after almost an hr then able to turn n go back to slp... so now kinda tired n slpy in ofc...

yesterday and this morning got quite regular BH but no, i dun think my #2 is ready... he's just happy torturing me in the tummy ...

 
phy: gynea got teach me to push my lower tummy around to wake bb up to move... bb did move... but not the usual hard move... just very light move that doesnt feels anything unless u take notice... i am taking sweeter then usual honey drink, lie dwn ah ... in ofc... no place to lie dwn...

 
JP: u use the word "torture" hahaha I use that too when bb giving me a hard move... hahaha.. HB would keep laughing telling me will be over soon... better enjoy then complain...

Sleepyhead u have there. Is this bb's normal pattern? Like no t so active in morning? Try another trick, it works for me. Sit down and then press/dig ard(ya sounds disgusting) ur belly button. My boy will sure react to that! Haha

Am back at my parents place for the day! Felt so relax to be at home! Luckily today is sunny, cos brought back the cloth diapers for washing.

Not sure abt ur bb, but for mine, sometimes he move ALOT, but sometimes he rarely move (even if i tap or shake tummy a bit), so i am quite used to his "pattern" Think when he is asleep, hard to wake him up to move (same as his daddy, super deep sleeper -_-"). But good to go for CTG so that you can be assured of bb status.

Which hospital you gg? Anyone from Mt A? Previously i sent them my pre-admission form, but till date, still didnt receive any confirmation/reply from them. Should there be any at all?

 
yvvone: i do that every morning to wake bb up - as if playing with bb - always got immediate reponse, most of the time movement is strong n pain... only this i can rest assure bb is fine.



Your butt also pain ah... my butt hurts too lor! especially when walking... I nvr ask ard as i shy lar... as i nvr heard ppl say before preggy butt will hurt de...



I have been going toilet to pee few drops since starting of 3rd trimester.



Tried too... my colleague even talk very loudly at my tummy which she will do every morning to say HI to my bb... also no movement...

 
suntan: i understand that... but my bb is like energizer batts... especially in the night before I doze off, early morning - just before I wake up, walk around, stand up, squat dwn, bb will give me big reaction as if telling me i am squashing bb ... -.-lll did that over the hour but bb reaction is very light n mild... as if no movement at all....

hi mummies.. Finally delivered. Baby really noe how to choose.. 7 july 7am.. Natural with epi but got use vacumm.. Juz started my 1st bf and got red sores on nipple after i unlatch. Very pain dunno why.. now resting in mt a.. Baby weighs 3.23kg and her name is kayleigh. Will update when i'm back home!
