AK: haha i only like the White Fresh Meiji milk... I dont like the flavour ones... hahaha ... my HB keep teasing me say... I drink so much milk dont know is bb drink or i drinking more.... -.-lll

 


i thought confinement maid suppose to wash our clothes and after 1 week heavy flow then the volume is just like normal monthly period..:p

can touch water but must put "da feng cao" so that "wind" wont get into our body..

 
Pillow cannot touch water is like.. er.. dun soak hands into water.. for normal hand washing and stuff, its ok.. but not soak hands in water for too long...



Jellypurin -- i got cctv (live) at home to keep me "focus" hahaa... but i got bathe every week.. but hot shower with herbs.. must blow hair after shower cannot natural dry... clean with rice wine everyday...

 
i bought the materinty type cotton disposable panties for use in hospital only. when i get home, will use my own cotton panties bcos i feel more comfy in those, esp weather is hot.

 
carol -- hmm im not sure about ur preference.. but most of them wont let CL wash their undies.. so they will rather use disposable ones..

 
xbeanniex - i got mine from BHG... at the Lingerie dept... was recommended by my colleague & i tried wearing it during my trip in Mar.....quite durable... brand - Impression... is 6 in a pack

 
Jellypurin -- also have to ren ren ren... i also will wanna give up sometimes when i was doing my last confinement.. then i jus stop thinking and jus ren ren ren.. 1 mth very fast over de..

 
ladies - any good hairstylist to recommend (town or east area)... I want to spurge a bit on my haircut before i start confinement!

do after leh! u can colour and all after that for the baby full month! keke... i cut my hair... wanted a trim, the hair stylist trimmed alot of my hair... now so short...

 
Eliss -- i also went to spurge on a hair cut.. thou i didnt cut short.. i jus trim but i tot i shud jus SPEND and look chio when i deliver... WAHAHHA... i went to jantzen... but not in town wor..

 
babycoco -- hmm.. i went taka there also dun haf.. so i bought it at those neighbourhood guardian.. then i went NTUC and found even better quality and cheaper ones at jurong point NTUC..

 
i can't make myself comply with the confinement rules.. think i broke all the last time round, except for lots of rest. haha



i washed my hair in the hospital by 3rd day, out of the house to feast on sashimi in a week and bathe for dunno how many times in a day! heehee i simply told my CL that her job in the house is to look after bb, and settle my cooking. as for me, i prefer she leaves me alone [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]



this time round, confinement rules will be the last thing on my mind.. instead, i want to make full use of the time to rest well, eat well, walks in the park, reading, bond with my 2 kids and just enjoy , relish in being their mother.

 
not forgetting, i also jus went to do my eyebrow and pedicure without colouring.. lol... i force hubby to go for a hair cut ytd too!! i told him... "u wan Celeste to see a sloppy papa??"



after his haircut, i was like.. "haha... so handsome, now u are ready to let Celeste see u"



and he feel so happy like tat... -_-

Going for my haircut tmrw! Yeah. Hopefully can see some changes & positive one at least.



My stylist used to be from NEXT salon @ Holland Village but has recently just opened his own salon in HV as well.



Hv not had my haircut cut by him since I got preggie (8mths+) liao....won't be surprised he can't recognise me now that my face becomes so "zhong"!

At 1st also want to do BW on Fri but then decided not to already cuz wld be uncomfortable for me to lie down my on back flat. Now when I lie down flat on my back, less than 2mins, I cannot breathe properly oredi.

Will also be bringing 1 set of onesis with my BB boy's name embroidered on it.

Re: Touching of water during confinement



My mum told me b4 that if I wanna touch water, cannot be direct from the tap. Water must be boiled before.



So can boil the water and keep in a pail. So when need to wash hands, face, etc...just use the water (that has been boiled b4) from the pail.

talkin abt water, very tempted to bathe this time round. last time with number 1, i had a bath after 2 wks then another again when broke confinement but really cant stand it. maybe see how weather goes

I also 38 weeks but no ve yet. Watsons also sells disposable panties. Not sure nice or not though, but I bought 4 packs. After reading the thread I think I will go stock up more. Hehe

 
keropi: how much are they ? Seeing so many brands n type see till i blur blur ... lolx... as nvr use before and still thinking to wear own cotton panties (3 for $10 type - dirty then throw) but quite exp to do that ... hahaha so wan to get disposable ones ...

 
Hi all... No time to check the forum today. Alot work to do. I told my boss i might go on ML early u know what? He go ask the other colleague (nv inform me but i accidently heard others saying) to go on leave asap ask me cover... -.- irritating.

Cheese: How many wk now? Me 34wk 5days BB 2.7kg. 3wks ago 1.7kg only. Doc commented grow very fast saying 2 more wks which is near 37wk to go have V check as well. She's thinking to ask me induce.

Ya lor. Very bad, apparently i am the only admin can cover all the admins work.. my section got 4 admin including me. I know all other 3 works plus a portion of executive work. Anyway, either one go on leave i cover all their work. I MC 2 ppl plus one temp cover mine. Whenever i think of it i will be very mad. Wanted to transfer but he is not letting me off. He say he short of manpower... liar. cause all his admin only know how to do their work...

 
wa,ur work nid so many ppl cover?muz b more tough than e rest.my bb wk 36,3days at 2.4kg.wonder 2wk can gain 600grm ma?n i wonder hw accurate is e machine?wat if is-500grm then bb is so small..hope he b healthy ,tatz more impt.

 


Cheese: nah my job sama sama la. just that 1 cover 1 to 1 they cover 2 or 3 to 1. Irritating, somemore can say not free to cover. As if i very free to cover them.

Me 3wk gain 1kg... 2wk 600gm should be ok but depends on BB whether he absorb or u. Most impt is eat healthy!
