about feeding bb bread..u just have to pinch abit from the bread (the *flesh* part hor, not the *skin*)
and pop into his mouth and standby water if they finds too dry.
u can also dip into milk and let him eat too, up to individual.

DreamAlways, fyi my boy has 3 small teeth sprouting up. Thus can "munch" the bread but i give very small. The size of a Tic Tac sweet wor.

Actually reason bb can eat toast or biscuits is becos, they dissolve when contact with their saliva. Safest way is u take a small piece n put in ur mouth use ur gums n press see if can dissolve then safe for baby. Once I give mantou, enyu can't mash it with her mouth n choke n vomit it out with milk.
 
so far, i only give my bb Happy Puffs, she loves it. 1st time giving her Pigeon fish biscuits last nite but she doesnt want to hold herself. We were outside, dont want her to drop it on the floor, end up i was holding for her.

oh, i also give her rice grains when i am having dinner, to keep her occupied. If not she wants to get out of the high chair. Not sure if she swallow or what, cos she still bo-geh.

all your babies can sit very well w/o support by themselves? my ger still topples after a while. Still have to sit beside her to catch her.

moscato, where to buy Happy Puffs? Does it melt in the mouth too? Btw my boy cannot sit on his own too. Sway from side to side. But he keeps wanting to stand on his own from the floor.

Same, she keeps wanting to stand as well. I let her stand at the coffee table then she will start grabbing the things on it.
She already 9 mths old. Wondering how come she still cant sit well. Guess she is just abit slow in her coordination.

my girl sit well but wont sit still for long. Move here move there, grab this grab that... sigh.

Ask u all, who got prob with baby during sleep? My girl now keep wanted to sit or stand up in her cot. Refuse to sleep even though she is tired.
 
Hey ivy, same here mine will wake up nw in the middle of the nite the sit in the cot or want to stand. Last time he sleep thru one... Nw dunno y everyday also wake up in the middle of night
 
ivy, my bb still having the same sleeping problem. flipped over on tummy then cried. Have to carry her up for a few seconds then put her back on her playpen.

baby sleeping - SAME! :p my boy also keep waking up at nite and start crawling ard! He is already not confined in a Cot bed.. but sleeping on the mattress on the floor.

Best is sometimes he dun cry when he wakes up... but sneakily crawl ard the room! quite funny at times lah! hahahhaa :p
 
well, I think regardless of what kind of milk we give to our babies, we have already done the best we can. What matter most is the whole family must be happy and supportive.

Ivy, my gal too…nowaday she refuse to sleep …try to make her sleep …she will flip and crawl to hold on to the bed and stand up looking ard ….sometime in the middle of the night she will wake up and crawl abt or stand up …coz we co-sleeping …I almst got heart attack when I woke up and she not next to me …every night got to wake up a few time to chk

MTDT, u sleeping with ur boy on the mattress? i afraid my gal fall off my bed ..she keep wake up and crawl or try to stand at night...normally sliently ...haha

wan to ask if i get a playpen for her now ...is it abit late? tot of finding a place to "deposit" her while i do my stuff ...in the cot ..she alway hit the side and on the mat...she juz cant keep within it

Yuki (yuki22) : ya. It's free now. Din say till when. U can take their free shuttle bus to rws. Got transport at outside tampines mrt, bedok mrt which are 30 mins interval or tiong baru or bukit panjang plaza bus stop or cck mrt.
 
May (pishako) : no limit for the hotel. I rem the festive hotel delux room is SGD240 per night for low season, family room is SGD 275 per night for low season. Can't rem the rest...

my bb will 'kick' away her blanket, when she toss left & right, most of the time she will be sleeping in another direction in the middle of night.

I have 2 blankets, 2nd one to cover her if she tossed and was sleeping on the 1st blanket.
But she wears pyjamas and socks to sleep so not so bad if she is not covered by blanket.

Yuki (yuki22) : they have the pt system, but now pts can only be earned if u gamble in their casino. I was told the pt system will be implement to the retail and dining outlets there soon. Now dining there got 5% discount. Also next time we can redeem universal studio tics with the pts. I ask last night for peak adult tic just need 58 pts.
 
mummies...if u are concerned about bb kicking blanket then go get sleeping bag for them like 'the dream bag' kind. or if not try to wear all covered up sleepsuit for them or if not then put on socks for them after they zzz...

i face the same problem.
i let my bb wear jacket and socks so that he's warm even without the blanket.
 
my girl also kick blanket, so i give up. Just give fan. Give aircon also only long sleeve pyjamas. Once i give sleeping bag, she woke up crying cos she cannot turn here turn there so easily.

my boy zz w me on the bed... keep kickin blanket too! but cant off aircon cos he is han bao bao..v easy perspire.. so i jus keep buyin sleepsuits lo. heh..

same here ivy, my boy woke up too when i tried sleeping bag.. he cant really super ka kui kui to koon. haa

jo, wear sleepsuits is the best. i never use blanket too since he always anyhow kick. My baby sleeps by himself, so I don't put anything in his cot too.. not even pillow or bolster.

luwen, u r so good to sponsor your hubby! but it's really a very good gift. I love the fact that I dun need to rely on contact lens anymore. it's such a chore in the mornings and for travel.

sleep - yup. i think sleepsuit is the best too. i also alot of them. my no1 wears till quite old. now no1 in long sleeves PJs... but dun like part is tummy exposed

alternative to sleepsuit is to wear a rompers+pants loh. I more concern abt the tummy actually
