I juz found out that there are other teachers teaching Musikgarten class at other locations like Ang Mo Kio, Woodlands, Tampines, Bukit Batok East &amp; Potong Pasir Ave 1 too.

My bb still sit in bath tub to bath.
Did try to let her stand to bath (like adults) but she dun really like it.
When shld let them bath standing ?
 
smiley, u can place one hand on the forehead to block the water from flowing down into their eyes and try to sweep water away from their faces when done. over time, don't think they will be so scared of water near the eyes.

i still use bath tub to shower my girl..but she doesn't want to sit in it at times. So most of the time she will be standing and i scoop water from the tub to shower her.
She hates me pouring water over her head..she will be jumping ard if i do that even though i sweep water away from her face..so i have to hold on to her tightly with 1 hand.

Not sure how effective is J&amp;J no tear shampoo. I bought for my girl but my mum doesn't like to use it so i'm the one using now. One day a tiny little bubble went into my eye, it sting!!..

Different teachers hv different prices thou.

I stop bath tub when Keith turns one. Just use shower head or pail. He gets real agitated when water gets into the eyes. I'm using kodomo hair n body wash. Won't sting the eyes.
 
Smilely, mine no longer let me carry him horizontal to wash hair since 1 yr old. He stands or sits in tub. Will just shower direct from above head to wash hair. He will try to sweep water off from the face and will also spit water out.I still use tub cos he enjoys soaking inside and playing.
 
Thks mummies for all the encouragement! Juz got a call my rapid test result is ok! Phwew..... Such a relief! Got to know the gender too! Another boy for me... Even though abit disappointed it's not a gal so can close shop but then it's ok as long is healthy at least it's a load off my shoulder..... Nw another wait for the detailed result in 2 weeks time to Cfm everything is ok.....

GG, the amnio procedure is fast once the long thin needle is poke somewhere at the stomache area... the retreiveal of the liquid is fast provided bb cooperate n dun move around. Not painful the whole procedure like drawing of blood...u can actually look at the screen when the gynae is poking the needle in n look @ the bb

Yunnz, my gynae is TC Chang. The whole procedure took abt less than 5 mins..

His fever was around 39.5 to 40. Doc gave 3 types of fever medicine. Now fever better but I think his molars coming out he super irritable! Keeps biting his teeth v hard I can hear the sound. My mil suggest give ling yang water. Can meh?? I very wary of Chinese herbs esp for young toddlers lor.

Is there anything we can do to soothe the teething pains? I think I saw one ulcer on his tongue too leh.
 
gg i think if u 1 2 give ling yang u go chinese med shop n ask yrself cos my friend say too young cannot drink so much...

my boy also teething... no app to eat also... so sad...
 
Tks Jo. I remember last time the shop tell me even for adults not good to drink ling yang cos too cooling.

I bot teething gel for him but very hard to apply..he got ulcers on tongue also..dunno can apply anything or not...
 
GG, I got give ling yang when he got high fever. Only gave once each time. If u are worry, dilute w water.

I'm opposite of you! Lol! I'm skeptical of Eng med. Keith looks grouchy and irritating when he takes Eng med. So I gave Eng med for few days and switch to chi med. Tho it works slower, Keith takes it well and no longer sleepy n clingy.
 
Thanks Jeanie! Personally I do take Chinese herbs but for bb more scared lor. My mil say last time bb teething all give ling yang water one, but I scared too liang. Now I give him Chinese barley water. Hopefully the teething will b over soon! Very siong, I keep taking leave.

GG, you can go tcm and say it's for baby. Then they will teach you how to do it. Keith was extremely phlegmy when four months old. The Eng med cant seems to help and I didn't want to go doc to suck it out. So my mum suggest go tcm grind chi med powder. Works wonders tho slower and freaking exp! Since then whenever he starts to cough, I'll start with Eng med then when he's like quite ok, I'll give the powder. Everytime when we went to tcm to grind, I'll tell them he's how old n they will adjust.

Weird thing is he enjoys the bitter powder then the sweet Eng med. Always got to battle to feed.

Btw, teething will not cause high fever. Just mild fever. Might be some virus tho. Now weather very bad.

Anyway I've tried giving him childlife colostrum w probiotics. Seems quite good..

Jeanie, thanks! Which tcm u go? Just now I go those neighborhood medicinal shop the boss dun advise ling yang cos now his fever ok, the boss says will b too cooling for bb as they are too young. Ask us to give Chinese barley drink instead.

His gums are very red, so he refuses to eat anything. And very super grouchy and clingy! Stress man!

GG, I go opp my place de. Now fever gone, no need to feed Liao. Ling yang is really cooling. Give only when necessary. I start when he's ard 8months. Start with small amt to test his reaction.

Did you give him teether? Mine also swollen gums and he keep eating his fingers! Very poor thing but it's a phase to go through. Mine also can't sleep well at night..
 
Thanks Jeanie. His teether can't reach the molars leh!! So he chew a while throw. His thumb chew till very deep cut and swollen. Very painful. And his whole row of gums dunno y become all red. Going to pd now.
 
Jo, medicinal hall ask me give 'shou yi mi'. Direct translation is 'cooked type of barley'. Less cooling, more suitable for bb &amp; toddlers.
