Liling / Shokel : can share where are nice in TW ? Must go places ? Like Shilin Nite Mkt, 101, Ximenting, Fengjia nite mkt ?

MTDT>yes, bringing my boy along. chose it cos at least I don't have to worry about his food there since they have baby club med. heard the chefs can cook for you. also can sneak some private time to tmm since there's baby sitting services.
I booked during their promo last year when adults were charged kid's prices so was about 40% off normal price. think they normally got good deal during natas so can look out.

Yl, yup, but I remember you read good reviews of the ryokan we stayed at hakone too. Haha, no choice, last time we were swinging bachelorettes, lots of time but not much spending power. I wish I had gone on a long Europe holiday before kids. 
by the way, I emailed the Phuket driver that u recommended but he never reply me. Can u help me ask him when u see him? I also like self drive holidays previously but now after accident, a bit wary. Must have a few people to take turns n drive better, safer n less tiring cos driving long hours at one stretch quite different from Singapore. My friend's husband nearly had accident cos fell asleep while driving after lunch. Luckily she woke him up after she noticed the car veering off the road.

Nap: last night slp at 10pm, wakes up 10am. In between her slp she wakes up a few times. Nap at 3pm. Almost 2hrs of nap liao, shld be waking up soon.

Sigh, just came back from dr review, condition not worsen (good news) but still need to wear brace for 6 more weeks (bad news). Next review is 7 mar, so close to my phuket trip on 14 mar. Hope I can still go for my trip lor.
Bbshae, I attended Marriott sales talk so 3 nights hotel for $120 but that resort very ulu n faraway from patong beach n town.

Mtdt, yup but got to be prepared to stay in resort n pay through our noses for food/drinks/spa cos patong/Phuket town is 1hr drive away. ritz Carlton 1 night free more worth it leh. Mine still need to pay.

hv breakfast provided?? then goes for late breakfast and eat till v v full!
tat time i went bintan angsana resort - their px really scared me!!! think USD20 for a plate of mee goreng! so I let the kid took heavy breakfast, light lunch(bread) then we took cab out of resort to get "cheap" seafood!

Hello ~ Sawadeeka... 三碗猪脚！
Yes back from bkk. Last yr back from BKK with food poisoning and found out pregnant, this yr only back with food poisoning and a big fat tummy! haha.
Eat so many rubbish. Enyu so fussy, dun eat the porridge plus my puree.
1st day porridge got seasoning, hotel make mistake thought plain porridge means no meat but put seasoning, so she refuse to eat. Eat a bit and i give bread -.-
2nd day porridge no seasoning, i put my own puree she also dun want.. qi si wo, i make 2 puree and bring all the way there she dun wan -.- later at air port i give the plain porridge only, she ate all.
But throughout the journey she want to eat everything we eat, from sushi rice, cod fish, kway tiao etc.. no wonder she also got bit of lao sai ahha.
ok going to unpack.

Ivy, my injury is on upper back but cannot stress the neck cos all interlinked. Yup, luckily the resort room got kitchen, hope to cook there. But don't know if I get to go in the first place. If need to wear the brace and go, super sian lor. hiaz... Do you remember the brand of the sweet potato bread? If I get to go Phuket I go and find at their supermarket.

i cannot remember, The bread store is at a very big supermarket. but i know bangkok got 1 famous bakery call Le Blanc. Not sure if its the same brand. Its actually a japanese bakery, they do a lot of nice bread. i feel japanese restaurant is also a good choice, their rice is soft, and their grill cod is gooooood! If got to wear brace, just go lah, just dun exact urself. Relax in hotel also shiok.

Ivy, yup I guess you are right. Got to wear brace also should go, simply because I paid in full already. Don't go will 'lugi' $1k plus cos I haven't bought travel insurance before my accident so cannot claim. The most I stay in the resort for all 3 days lor since Patong and Phuket town is so far away anyway. Let my kids, hubby, maid and MIL enjoy themselves on my behalf. Hee, I haven't let my gals try doughnut yet cos hubby said too sweet. But I'm sure no. 1 has tried all kinds of food at CC. Those that I don't see, I bochap. kekeke.

YL, just saw the link of the hakone resort you are recommending Calamari. Looks very good leh, prices also reasonable too. Maybe we can go together again one day? This time, with our kids and hubbies in tow. hahaha.

my tw trip wasnt as nice cos w 2 old pppl in tow, its a bit shag.. lots of complains.. arhgg...
luckily its my 2nd trip to tw, visited and ate mostt of the food liao....

their subway is very convenient if u dun wana take cab...

Shokel, some old pp are like that, very negative. At least your mum n grandma don't take jap food only. My mum doesn't take pork, beef, mutton, dairy products, egg n certain fish. Even noodles cook with pork broth cannot so ramen is out so r cakes, cookies etc, even fish n chips. I also dun have the guts to bring her on holiday unless package tour, cos I can push all the complaints to the tour guide, hahaha.
Pauline>hee, we can try. I didn't go Hakone on my last trip to Japan. Maybe can work that in since hubby has never been there.

when I took my mom n mil to Taiwan last year, my mil whole time complaining to my mom that maybe we brought them there is to take care of the kids tsk tsk. Hope u had fun in Taiwan cos I go there 3x still dont like haha!

Hi mummies just curious are you giving your baby vitamins already? I have not buy any but thought of getting the gummy bear types of vitamins since she is in infant care and now having flu and cough again (it has been a while since she got flu.. now got it again very sian...)

Mtdt: going 7 days. Friend's kids some r in pri sch so escaping there during the sch hols. When is Hk for u? Just to share, I went to Central H&M and opposite there got markets. Ask the stall owners selling children's stuff cos some have their shops inside the building next to them. I went to one of these, the shop upstairs full of kids' stuff! Nearly went mad shopping there. Costumes for halloween at that time only s$10.
